yes, and then you put the almonds in the activator, but you have to know the password to get it to activate the almonds. all you have to say is "for me, it is the mcchicken. the best fast food sandwich", and the machine will turn on and start to activate the almonds. it takes 24 hours, so think of it like a crockpot. but you have to turn the activator off after EXACTLY 24 hours. no more, no less. if you're off by even a second the almonds will either not activate, or deactivate. make sure you have a really good stopwatch.
