The biggest problem is everyone I talked to so far seems to want further accreditation while you work for them, CPA and other shit. Grad programs that go for 18 months.

I have a business that earns about $50k a year and I would not sell it for a dollar less than $150k.

Yes. My friend's little sister is 19, turning 20 soon. She went to a "technical academy" for high school, but choose not to apply to a university when she graduated.

Now she's a wageslave who hates her job and wants to apply to school. I encouraged her to do so and try to get an education in a field where jobs are plentiful and in demand.

So she went to an art academy and signed up for a photography "certification".

I asked how she plans to pay, and she said out of pocket and go to school part time.

I don't have to heart to tell her how stupid and fucked she is.

I graduated in May 2014 and I'm on my 6th job. I worked as a financial analyst, and my firm underwent a restructuring so I left to trade full time. I did that for a year and lost all of my money, so left. I then worked as a waiter for a few months, then worked a temp data entry job. I landed a gig with an IT contractor who turned out to be a total flake and never paid me, so I left. I'm now starting a new job doing tech support at a great company. Things don't always work out the way you think they will, but keep trying and you'll get there eventually.

Most people I know in our age group are struggling to find their place. I have friends who have been working the same job since graduation, good for them. But I also know a lot more people who have held 2 or 3 jobs, or are still working at Starbucks part time. Again, you're young, you'll figure it out.
