Is it okay to be a transvestite in a business setting?

Sure, I don't care. Fuck whoever you want, use whatever bathroom you want, just do your job.

if it's your business or you work in a LGBTQ field. otherwise no, it makes many people uncomfortable and opens the business up to not being taken seriously. I'm sure you'd end up getting fired for unrelated reasons.

Anyone here has experience with localbitcoins?

I set up an add for selling bitcoin at 2.25% above market price (I believe localbitcoins takes 1%), which is the lowest price by SEPA eur transfer and my add still appears at page 7.

And then the site offers no data like page views.

How do you get started?

>start a job four months ago as an analyst at a bank
>get told I'll be trained on the job since I have no experience
>we're all so busy trying to pump out work that nobody is willing to take time away to train me in my actual job responsibilities and I get stuck doing clerical tasks
>very quickly find out there's a power struggle going on, pitting the head of my department and the other analysts versus company executives and the mid-level managers below the department head who smell blood
>Head of my department loses, gets fired; some of the loyalists leave with her
>Executives decide to hire from outside to replace her, so some of the managers then decide to leave
>Replacement head hires replacement managers from outside as well, many senior analysts who had their eyes on those positions leave
>Get real excited because I've become one of the most senior employees in my department in a matter of months and a huge number of accounts now need to be serviced
>Replacement head implements an actual training regimen for the next batch of new analyst hires, all of whom he personally interviews and selects
>Refuses to let me sit in on it with them because, in spite of all my HR paperwork and even pay rate being to the contrary, he says that I am actually a few rungs below being an analyst, which I take as an indication that he wants me to quit, or at the very least sees me as surplus to requirements

So, what do I do? Quit now since I'll never be promoted and am not learning any new skills? Ride the gravy train until the new head has put together a reason to fire me? Stick it out until the length of my tenure there no longer looks awful on a resume?

"Money ain't got owners, only spenders"

My boss, a 60 year old man with a net worth in the mid 8 figures, told me that every man should see his bank account hit zero at least once in your 20s, 30s, and 40s. If this doesn't happen, it means you are not capitalizing on the spending power available to you. Money in the bank isn't worth a thing unless you plan on spending it.

What do we think?
19 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>1588735
How many peoples bank accounts have hit zero and never bounced back? I dont think those people will be giving that advice.
>>
Has he heard about emergency funds?
>>
>>1588740
Because they spent that money on consumer goods, not investing. OP's boss is saying having money sit in your bank account is stupid, when it should be tied up in investments.

What can I start doing right now that I can build into a profitable business? I have a job and make around 1300-1500 a month. Are there any viable options besides college this day and age? Am I just completely fucked if I don't go? How do you go about just starting a business? I have some ideas that have will be profitable if I only knew how to start.

If you can't hack it in CC how do you expect to make it starting a business? It's about 100x more work roughly. Your competitors graduated top of their class from top universities with rigorous majors. If you don't at least have a degree, people will not take you seriously, investors included.

Some people might have the degree and the book knowledge might lack that drive/killer instinct/hunger.

Others might not be college material but they can sell, network and get shit done; all they needed was an good idea and financing.

>Don't have the discipline to do well and finish community college

You want my legitimate advice? Enlist in the military and let them impose discipline on you that you might learn to impose it on yourself.

anything that deals with the web/cloud computing. More and more companies are moving to network base and need more programs to do what they do.

.NET consultant software developer here. 10 years perm, 5 years self-employed.

It is different as brit-bong with limited company etc but I suppose the question is, are you good enough programmer to find reliable work and earn more than you would than as working as an employee?

The business side of things isn't complex, you pay an accountant to do that.

Okay, so I'm a complete and utter dipshit when it comes to tech, so please bear with me. I know most of you use (or some?) use coinbase. I just set up an account and planned on loading some cash onto the account.

The letters below are not my account number, but is a replication of them in a sense. If i wanted someone to send me cash, i would give them that? - Could i also use my e-mail?

Finally, can i purchase Visa giftcards and just load up on bitcoin that way? Im sorry im such a fucking moron. Im an American so that very well explain it.

I would also be very interested if anyone could send me like a pennies value worth of bitcoin .0001 or whatever the lowest denominator so i can somewhat familiarize myself with the process.

I swear on everything i would send it back, just to see how the process works. I'm really not trying to beg, just trying to find out how in the heck to get this to work. Would be very willing to Skype with someone through the whole process

It's creating a warez website with A.dfly/Linbucks links profitable enough to make $200 a month?

Perufag here, I'm a poorfag college student and right now I work for minimun wage in a shitty call center. $200 extra is all that I need to live comfortably enough until I finish my education.

What kind of "warez"? I haven't heard that term in a long time.

What wares can someone get that is not on the TOR network or torrents?
>>
>>1588854
most people progressed and stopped using obsolete torrents. the biggest german only warez sites make so much money, you can become a millionaire if you do it right. but you have to see if its worth the risk spending your life in jail

I have nearly 3k wave tokens.
Who can bid more?
Bought in the ICO and hold since and when it was 14 cents per token. Because you know what waves gonna change

A bank. But assuming some shady shit, then probably gold.

And you could get a safe deposit box at a bank, but people say that in a crisis, the bank has the right to that safe deposit box.

I would say a fireproof safe hidden somehere in your home. And use gold not cash since it will increase in value.

Is there any point living if you're a Poorfag /b/?

>tfw work 50 hours a week just to pay rent and buy food and have no money left over for anything

Leave Canada.

Opportunity is better here in USA. You could get a job doing construction 40 hrs a week and make AT LEAST 12hr and prob 15hr. That should be enough for a start. Work hard and you'll be manager in a year.

I think Texas Georgia and North Carolina are all good places.

You are me.

You own 10 Chinese-premium 3 letter .com domain names.
2015 resale value: $50000 each.
Today's value: ~$35000 each.

You also own 25 non-Chinese-premium 3 letter .com domain names.
2015 resale value: $40000 each.
Today's resale value: ~$20000 each.

You currently have $2mil net worth and make $100k per year.

What would you do?

Sell now?

Wait for prices to recover?

Considering that over half of my hypothetical net worth would be in a basketful of domain name assets on the chinese market that are rapidly depreciating I'd sell that shit and invest in a stable (not chinese) real estate market. Maybe swoop in when South Korea's bubble pops and prices bottom out there for a while.

Problem is, neither buying nor bought company is listed on a stock exchange.
How can I profit anyway?

Buy/sell compeitor shares, derived products or anything that can be traded that somehow links to the company
Mind giving us a clue? (One that wont get me arrested for insider trading but will also give me enough knowledge to make a trade?)
>>
>>1588476
Both are limited companies (in europe), so no shares to buy - that's my problem. The bought company produces "big industrial machines".
Maybe I will get into more detail the next few days, but not today.

Stuff like this happens all the time, and no you can't make any money off it. Do you have any idea how many non-public M&A deals happen in any given day?
