I have my first interview for a regional fast food chain later today. Any tips to help me get the job?
>wanting to flip burgers for minimum wage
Consider suicide.

Its the only place thats offered an interview so far, plus its "not for a living".
just dont do anything completely retarded and you should be fine.
Hey /biz/, a fatal accident at a local amusement park just killed 4 people. Tragic, but their shares dropped by 8% and will probably fall further.
I'm thinking that these are good shares to buy, because the actual value of the business has only suffered a short term hit. This is sad, but it will fade from the news cycle and people won't give a shit. We see it happen all the time in the tourism industry. Bad press hurts in the short term but if you can tough it out, and so long as there's nothing seriously wrong with your business (Dreamworld has been around for literally decades, so I think probably not) you'll bounce back.
What does /biz/ think?
This is all hypothetical. I have no money in shares and almost certainly won't buy these ones, but I'm just practicing my brain.

park might have to shut down for a while, possibly permanently, recovery might last years, who knows.
the global economy is in the shitter at the moment, although the ozzies expect to jolt their economy back to 3% growth in 2017, so the population may gain more disposable income and the company can go back to a pre-2015 path.
probably good time to invest, maybe, with short term dips in the future that you're gonna have to weather out.

As learned from the lessons playing roller coaster tycoon when I was 8 years old, time and increased advertising overcome deaths that are incurred from fauly rides.
This should be a solid buy, as long as you believe there is no more room on he downside.
>>1586500
you're sick trying to profit from the death of 4 kids
Any reasons why you are NOT buying Berkshire Hathaway stock right now?

I want to, but since the class B shares are a 1500th of a class A, but cost more than a 1500th, I feel that I somehow get ripped off by the richer investors..
I have a website about hair loss treatments (don't ask) that gets about visitors a day.
It's still growing as I add more articles (I used to do SEO and that kind of stuff) but it's now at the stage where I'd like to monetise it.
Rather than sell ads, I want to sell my own products. I've had discussions with a few supplement suppliers but the minimum order quantities scare me a bit. How do I find a drop shipping supplement company just to test the demand for the products? If I get enough consistent orders for a month or so then I'd be more comfortable comitting a few thousand $ to order my own products.
Any general advice about this sort of stuff is appreciated too. Thanks
>>1586455
> *That gets about 400 visitors a day
400 visitors a day.
About 20 of these might click your shop items
Maybe 1 will buy. So you will sell about 30 a month. Your order around 2000 will take roughly 6 years to sell. After 1 year it will be out of date.

On a side note just promote affiliate offers untill you understand what your getting into. As you clearly don't have a clue.
Seriously there was a bitcoin video right on Youtube as early as march 2011?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo
What the hell, man. I could have bought bitcoins at 1$ each. I could have easily made 20 millions by december 2013. Even 1k dollars in bitcoin would have meant 1 million dollar by december 2013.
Somebody put me on suicide watch, I can't believe I could have turned everyone's lives around for the better if I had bought & mined bitcoins back in 2011. God it's Minecraft all over again.
>>1586420
My brother's high school econ teacher was big on this stuff. Apparently the guy went in and bought bitcoins early and make a ton of cash, in addition to being an internet poker whiz. Guy's still in his twenties and lives a comfy life teaching Econ at a private school to a class of like 8 and picks blueberries at his parents' farm.
>>1586420
just put your money in something moderately obscure that everybody dismisses as a ponzi scheme right now.
>>1586420
The reason bitcoins were so cheap there was that nobody thought it was legit -> i.e. you're unlikely to have thought it was going to be legit either.
Who the fuck goes and dumps thousands in some scam internet money?

Why don't you just tell it like it is and say you're an unoriginal piece of shit and you want our ideas. Fucking faggot.

Tell me why don't you sell women's panties yet?
Ever heard of the saying sex sells?
>>1586344
But I do
Because I would end up thinking about it so much, I would buy them and jerk off into them myself...
>too much truth for /biz/realis to handle...
>>1586344
I did, but I got fired for jerking off on them in the changing room.
Fucking Bloomingdale's. They're nowhere near as "tolerant" as they claim.
Two questions:
Has anyone ever tried to set up a longer term exit plan with their employer, like "I won't quit until you've hired my replacement?" How did that go? Did it build resentment?
Second, how does one go about getting a contracted job? I'd love to work for a company where I have a definitive end date and the freedom to search for my "dream job" without feeling this trapped.
I guess I'm basically looking for temp work, but in a white collar environment that still pays well.
>>1586302
It's a stupid idea that will more than likely get you immediately booted. 2 weeks is fine. If an employer feels like you're going trying to leave you won't get an opportunity to wait for a replacement. It's better for them to find someone immediately, and it's better for you to be out.
>>1586302
I would work my last month for free but they have 10 people wanting my job at all times. I just load trucks. A retarded monkey could do my job. No resentment. Unless they wont sell me my loader i run. I love that bitch. When i quit i am buying it and taking us all to a knockoff dave and busters and retireing.
Actually may wind up oartnering with my bosses so i can start a quarry or hook them up with geologists and test plots. Even if u lose money these guys have taken care of me like no employer i have had. They good people and i want them to make a fuckload of money while i retire and keep my sanity as early as i can.
>>1586302
>Has anyone ever tried to set up a longer term exit plan with their employer, like "I won't quit until you've hired my replacement?" How did that go? Did it build resentment?
Expect your employer to start looking for a replacement immediately following that meeting.
>Second, how does one go about getting a contracted job?
Start calling temp agencies and recruiters. I actually did this for a little while, it was pretty cool. It's a lot less stressful, kind of cool walking into an office knowing you will be gone in a month.
Hey /biz/, im a newb in stock market and thinking on starting it. I checked online for recommendation on books that can teach me about it and i bought the books in the picture.
But after reading it, i cant understand shit about it.
Can anybody recommend something to read to fill up the gaps in knowledge please?

like what?
>>1586218
like i dont really know the terms used. Ive tried google the meaning and the explanation end up with more new term
Sup, /biz/.
We've created a cryptocurrency exchange, SpaceBTC, with a group of friends, and are currently trying to attract new customers.
I haven't really come into the project pre-launch, as I worked on backend and didn't really give any thought to other matters, and when it launched (and obviously incurred various expenses, like servers and AdWords), I quickly discovered the "PR guy" was useless. So our exposure at launch was basically zero.
And it's a fucking shame.
The platform we created is reliable and fast, we have great usability (for instance, an ability to instantly buy/sell without bothering with bidding), good roster of currencies (BTC, LTC, ETH, will soon implement EmerCoin and Waves), and customer support via email and livechat (during EU prime time).
Only fiat we supported after launch was Euro, but right now we are finishing legal bullshit to implement USD support.
We also have partners like Simplex and so on, but they are not keen on promoting us.
While we formally adhere to AML/KYC, we don't want to crawl into everyone's asshole and demand ID scans right away - as long as your name/address is legit (isn't on VISA blacklists, and not "John Doe" bullshit), you can trade with generous limits.
And yet, due to lack of customers, we are forced to use marketmaker bots, that are taken advantage of by users. We are slowly but surely bleeding money, and what we have today is estimated to run out in 1.5 years.
So what do we do? At this point, I wouldn't care if SpaceBTC is named the biggest supporter of nuclear weapon trade, as long as it gives us exposure.
If you'd visit us and give feedback, that'd be great. Since our userbase is small, we won't get much backlash from implementing features you, anons, want.

That's nice and all that you are trying to start a business. However you are seriously hurting the cryptoscene, we don't need more centralized exchanges that gets hacked and issue a shittoken as compensation or just bail.
We need a single decentralized exchange.
>>1586106
We are not trying to become a giant like BitPenis or MtHax.
The exchange is tailored to appeal to people who are angry with intrusive anti-privacy rules other exchanges have, and would want a relaxed trading experience.
So you are only doing eth and btc? The exchange is doom already if that's all you are doing. You don't have the liquidity or volume to do those 2 coins. You are competing with establish exchanges like coinbase, kracken, gemini. Only people who will use your exchange is to buy on spot.
Unless you are doing branching off into other alts like most start up exchange then yours will probably die. Then if you are doing other alts, you might want to change your site name. "Spacebtc" makes people think you are only doing btc. Like coinbase was only doing btc then when they added eth pair to their system they change their exchange to GDAX which implied they will add other alts which they did like ltc and probably others.
So yeah. Become a exchange to trade alts. Then list coins that no other exchange list and hope it become a hit. Like polo was a nobody till ETH hit off and their site now is the biggest alt exchange
Is driving for Uber a meme? Does it pay well? How easy is it for a college student with a drivers license and a clean record to get a job with them?
I'm interested in making some money on the side and I'd rather not work in some shitty service job.
>>1586033
It is easy to get in. Depending on area where you are located, the car has to be newer. In San Francisco, part time Ubering after work brings in about $17 an hour after uber takes a cut. Now subtract taxes, gas + wear and tear.
Right now I only uber as destination where I am going, that works out better.
>>1586033
If you have nothing else going on, you can make some extra money on the side.
>>1586033
>Does it pay well?
no
>How easy is it for a college student with a drivers license and a clean record to get a job with them?
easy

what do you think driving people around for money is?
I have spare 140€ atm and want to invest it in some kind of safe profit. What's the best way to do it? Profit from savings on a bank acc is not an option because they didn't pay me for the last 2 years. I was hoping for a 680€ profit in 1 year, if that's even realistic
binary options
buy WAVES using BTC on bittrex
Buy a reasonably good lawnmower and go down the street knocking on you neighbors' doors. this is literally the safest way to make a return with this kind of money to invest.
Alternatively, €140 should buy you a really nice set of kneepads.
I am a Japanese, but love Adolf Hitler

I have never been abroad, is it thought that it is a strange person if I say that Hitler likes it in the United States and Europe?

Yea, he's a pretty cool guy, but we have to wait until all the women, fags/jews, and niggers leave the room to talk about what could have been.
Protip: we all actually do this, and we'll never stop. Tbh, niggers should get on the bus too. Unfortunately, crack addicted moms, rap music, and 100% kraft diets have destroyed their brains. It's whatever...
>>1585887
Odly agree.
Aside from his geanociding hitler was cool. Kinda like the kkk. They just believe they are master race and u should stay in your race.
I dont buy it but i will say from personal exoerience most blacks seem to be lazy entitled brats and mexicans seem so stuckup acting like they won anerica with their 3 dollar hours and not learning english that im about to slap the fucks.
That being said ive met some from both races that were "better" than me.
British /biz/ users, how do I get started with investing?
That is a very broad question
Do you mean to ask which broker to use? What tax laws there are? Etc etc?
>>1585844
etoro
>>1585859
I was just wanting a brief summary of what things are and what they do but I realise now it is indeed too broad a question to ask.
How about this: what is the best bank to open an index fund with?
