Hey /biz. I'm looking for a payment processor for my website. My service resides in a sort of grey area. Most of my competitors use skrill. Has anybody has experience with processing payments. (not located in America btw).

It's funny how when Fort Mc burned down, oil prices went up and stocks shot right up.

Now oil prices are up at the same level, but oil stocks are doing nothing
>>
>>1587141

Yeah, my "boring" stocks (banks, REITs) are outperforming all of my shitty ass gold and mining juniors this year. I'm sitting on double digit losses on most of them.

I don't even know why the fuck that happened since gold only lost like 3% at the start of September.

I must have bought during the dip because I'm up like 8-10% XIC btw

RN's make $55-65K a year in my area according to job posts on Indeed. Mostly ER/ICU working 12 hour shifts 3-4 days a week.

Is there anything else I can do with as little time spent in school as possible that pays just as much? I was considering getting a CDL and being a flatbed driver. I'd be paid around the same but I'd only be home a weekend once or twice a month with no time for any hobbies.

Are trades worth it? How long do they usually take?

I don't mind being a RN, I just don't want to be stuck doing it for life. Every nurse I meet looks miserable as shit. I was thinking I could work a few years and the hospital would pay for me to continue education and become a FNP. They are basically replacing general practitioners around here and I see job postings anywhere from $87K to $110K.

So what do? I'm 22 broke as shit working 2 part time jobs. Never started college because my parent's are too wealthy (combined $180K income) so FAFSA won't help me, and they won't co-sign on my loans. So trying to spend as little time in school as possible because I'm paying out of pocket.

those aren't the jobs you get right out of nursing school
do you have the grades to get into a nursing school without a big waitlist?
>>

Those job posting required no experience but a RN license.

And I haven;t started yet.

Investopedia for the basics

Once you start investing, Seeking Alpha is a good place for you to keep up to date with information. You essentially create portfolios of stocks you want to track and get notifications when new information comes up about them or if an investor writes an article recommending a long/short position.

Babypips if you want to get into currency trading, known as Forex (Forward Exchange)

Avoid being too much of a normie and following CNBC, but also avoid being too much of a contrarian and following Zerohedge. Find a good middle ground for your overall strategy.

Best of luck friendo

How much of a dick move is it to not show up to an interview?

They'll probably start calling me right?

Basically I applied somewhere and got scheduled an interview but it's overall sketchy as hell and mom & pop-tier even though I thought it wouldn't be.

Can I just not go?
33 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Ofcourse you can just not go. If you never see yourself working for their company, just don't show up.

I went to an interview for a call center and aced it, told me to come in the next day for work. I didn't show up.

>>1586582
I feel like a dick for leading them on but I don't think it'll work out. Pay is a lot less than what I expected and all
>>
>>1586576
you should probably just phone them and tell them you're not coming. Even an email would be okay.

National Bank shouldn't be privately owned, currency policy should be the realm of a publically owned national bank.
>>
>>1586239
First off, that's a myth, every bank besides the New York Fed is publically owned, and second off, it doesn't matter who owns it, it matters who controls it, which in the case of the FOMC is publically appointed officials.

Hey /biz, anyone here does money via youtube? I just started a month ago and it was going pretty nicely... but just got banned from ''invalid click activity n shit'' upon a little investigation I found out this is a recurring problem for new channels and google is actually scaming a lot of users who are about to get paid by abusing their ban system.
Among my investigation I found an ex-former employee post about this shit.
http://pastebin.com/qh6Tta3h

Is there a way to go through this or should I just give up and accept that fucking google is the rapist nobody can bring to justice?

you could sue them. If they are guilty they will be found guilty
>>
>>1585587
The content of the pastebin is not totally logical. If you ban the content creator and claim ad revenue you do it once, then the content creator is banned and stop creating video, the idea if a quick but over a steady income is really strange. (maybe I'm missing something and the ban doesn't work like i think, please correct me).

Most likely Google is jewing income from content creator with depreciated cpm and fake number of ad view.
>>
>>1586202
For all I know they send a 1 month ban email to a lot of new starters when they are making quick income or when they are about to get their first paycheck, the reason you get this 1 month ''warning'' ban is not explained clearly in the email they send, for all I know it could be the easily exploited ad-click bombing o either something as ridiculous as suspicious spikes and income of traffic.

I've been doing Comp Sci at my Uni for 2.5 semesters now and I hate every fucking moment of it. None of the classes interest me, and I feel like I'm wasting hours at the class just to study for 10 min to get what the 1.5 hour lecture was about.

Are the trades a legitimate option for someone with Some College done? If so which trades, and should I work for a union or a small company?
79 posts and 9 images submitted.
>>
>>1585572
People here will tell you to avoid unions from what I've seen, but I'm in a trades union and the benefits outweigh the downsides.

10% vacation pay, $6.66 goes to your pension for every hour worked, Saturday and Sunday are double time (soon to be switched to 1.5x time). Good wages too, $40/hr for journeymen. Some downsides are that you get to deal with retards and they have a sort of immunity from being fired, but usually the first to be laid off.

Can answer more if you have anything.
>>
>>1585585
Just as an addendum, I did 2.5 years of Comp. Sci. as well. It's not that I wasn't interested in it, I just smoked too much weed at the time. I'm considering returning to finish, but damn can it be a drag. And expensive.

thanks man, didn't expect anyone to even be up at this hour.

-you mind me asking what trade you're in?

-unions offer better pay and more stable employment as pros, but the cons are bureaucracy and dipshit bosses right?

-are the trades tolling on the body? I have a bad Spine ever since I was a kid, but I figure as an Electrician or Carpenter or something with relatively minimal lifting I should be good.

-do you enjoy it? I just fucking hate that I produce nothing of value and am learning nothing of value in college. Just seems like I was shoved in by my parents

-is it true that there is a significant shortage in trades because of less applications and the labor force of trades growing older?

Thank you so much man

>Buy low; Sell high
>Be fearful when everyone is greedy; Be greedy when everyone is fearful

What happens when everyone in the world follows this advice and we reach perfect equilibrium?
Does no one ends up buying anything and economy stagnates?

>What happens when everyone in the world follows this advice and we reach perfect equilibrium?

That wont happen because the average person is emotional and rather unintelligent.

Even if everyone was taught this in school it wouldn't matter. We ALL know how to be fit, but why is 70% of the US population overweight with half of that being obese.

Besides, when you're skilled you don't fear competition.

Does a Chess grandmaster fear someone else "knowing" what he knows?

Does a top-tier boxer FEAR his opponent knowing his "tricks" when all his fights are on YouTube and well studied? Of course not.
>>
>>1585217

>Therefore you didn't answer my main question.
>Please re-read my original post and try to formulate a relevant answer.

It's a dumb question.

It's like asking: "What if everyone stops foolishly spending money on their wants and instead gets a basic to intermediate level of education in many fields via the use of the internet and then proceeds to spend their money intelligently and then quits their job and becomes an entrepreneur".
