Considering starting a business, preferably something large-scale. How risky is it? Please no shitposting
how risky is what?
come on, be specific to what you're looking into at the very least...Do a fucking business plan and work out what the risks are..How can we spoonfeed you information based on such a generic topic, and a single sentence?
>>1587201
Oh shit senpai
You're right. Don't have any ideas yet- maybe I will report back with something good.
>>1587204
Don't innovate, look for a preexisting service or product and see how you can improve it.
What are the key differences between NEET and retired?
Retirement is a form of being NEET.
>>1587077
retirees used to work and are usually much older.
>>1587077
Neets are virgins who leech off their parents
Retired people actually made money and saved or are elderly and lived a long life
I'm getting by just breaking even in life right now.
Recently I saw an add for donating plasma and that in my area I can get $70 a week doing it.
So what is the smartest thing I can do with that $70 weekly to stop being so poor /biz/?
>>1587052
Blegh did it for a bit between jobs.
It really drains you, if you need to do it for a week or so go for it, not a big deal, it does save lives.
But try not to the best you can.
You'll end up developing a "plasma bump" because of the scar tissue that build up each time you do it, and be branded a poorfag for life.
But if you must, go to the cleanest place in town, not the one that pays the most.
>>1587052
Those are rough times, man.
If you're just breaking even now, you gotta save up some. Save up enough to not get fucked hard by debt (car breaks down, water heater goes out, etc)
Try your best to take that 70 bucks, and put it into a savings checking account (a real savings account won't do shit for you). Put it in there, and forget you have it. Continue with life, and hope bad shit doesn't happen; if it does though, you have something to prevent you from going to those superjew cash-advance places with 50% annual percent yield bullshit.
Dude mow lawns or wash cars instead
Or clean houses.
All stuff where you can earn 20 bucks an hour or more
If you want to see your money actually just vanishing into thin air, you buy a yacht.
>>1587013
nobody buys a yacht because its a smart investment. they buy it to show they can you cashlet
they buy a yacht for a write off you fucking retard
they say they spent 20 million on it with maintenance etc., but in reality only 10 for example
other 10 disappears in their pockets
you pleb shit, you will never be rich with this mentality
>>1587054
Also, make sure you purchase it offshore.
That way you don't pay the idiotic taxes that killed the industry in the US to begin with.
Hi all,
I own a Thai Massage business in Sydney, Australia which is running really well thankfully although the problem that I am having is that there are many people who come into the parlour and ask for "extra service" which we do not and will not provide.
My question is how can I capitalise on these particular customers who are already inside the store but are only there for a happy ending ??
Regards,
>>1586970
Start offering happy endings.
>>1586970
you could hire someone who doesn't mind just for the happy endings
Refer them to an asian brothel down the street. Give them a coupon. Get money for your work as a promoter.
Brothels are legal in oz, but you should know that OP.
I want to start a small business on the internet, three of us want to sell clothing, art, jewellery, bathroom products and such small items, very small scale, nothing serious.
Any help/tips etc will be welcome.
>>1586961
literally just those four categories? Bit random to have a store selling jewelry and bathroom products unless you're making another amazon and stocking a wide range of things...
however amazon already exists - what is your edge?
>>1586961
Can I see some art?
The bathroom products consist of bath bombs and other related products. Should've been more specific on that.
I had the idea for a program that would do algorithmic trading in waves. Basic it would look like this:
>Alpha-wave: Most of initial investment in something stable, such as indexes, blue-chips, or bonds.
>Beta-wave: A set of options, some exotic, calculated to produce a stable rate of return written from credit based on the alpha wave.
>Delta-wave: A set of positions taken from returns on the Beta-wave. Many will close if parts of the beta-wave folds.
>Gamma-wave: A set of options written from credit based on Delta-wave positions.
>nth wave: Produces waves in this fashion in accordance with a calculated risk to return desired by the person setting the program. Basically the cycle can be looped.
>Omega-wave: The calculated end product of returns based on the expected rate of return of all positions originating from the alpha-wave and subsequent waves.
What do you think?
>>1586941
Good, now you just have to write the code
>>1586944
I can do the math, but the coding... oh christ, this is going to be nasty.
>waves
>WAVES
Buy WAVES
How do you show incompetent management what happens when they mistreat a good employee?
Preferably not getting fired in the process

Any of you who are self-employed, do you have phones that you use for a mixture of personal and business purposes?
Can you deduct some of the cost of the phone as a business expense, and how do you keep track of everything so you can do that?
>>1586852
I would only do that if my business was illegal
>>1586860
That doesn't make any god damn sense.
You file for taxes when your business is illegal?
You don't know that some of the costs of your vehicle can be filed as a business expense if you use that vehicle for both business and personal purposes, if you keep track of how it's used?
>>1586852
Business owner here, same phone for business and personal use. I tell clients they can call me at any time but I can't guarantee I'll answer at odd hours. I don't bother deducting it as it's such as small amount and more trouble than what I think my time is worth.
eBay general:
>Go to main supplier's warehouse.
>Private sale.
>Bid on some Samshit Galaxy S6's, and S7's.
>Probably no more than $2000 worth of phones with broken screens.
>Some retard bids $10,000+ on the S7's.
WHAT THE FUCK why would you even DO THAT?
>>1586835
He's going to ship you back a pallet of empty boxes, and PayPal will side with him, because "why would a Bolivian steal $10000 worth of phones from a stranger on the internet?"
because he's selling the same items as you and doesn't want to compete with your sale, so he propped yours up to a ludicrous price until he gets rid of his own. then he'll cancel the bid/sale, or just abandon the account all together.
>>1586835
This happens, I often sell broken graphics cards, but you still get more than 100 € for a completely burnt 780Ti without cooler.
Some people may think they can fix it. Phones can actually often be fixed, but its not worth it when the screens are broken, a new screen will usually cost more than a new phone.
What are the most versatile university degrees?
I am close to finishing high school but haven't yet chosen what i want to study. I want to be able to make my own buissnes but also have a solid plan b aka 9-5. Im thinking of getting degree in marketing or economics or even MBA.
Join the military
We don't need more graduates
We need more cannon fodder, and killers on a leash!
>>1586784
Go get a tech degree at a university with a good business incubation program. Degree doesn't matter, just take advantage of the startup resources provided to learn how to make your own business. Graduate, do your own shit, if it doesn't work out go into IT or become a teacher.
What is the point of any cryptocoin other than bitcoin OS ethereum?
>>1586746
WAVES is really interesting. It basically expands upon the only interesting part of the NXT platform.
it allows you to create and trade any asset, basically a replacement for the stock market.
More secure
Better anonymity
Shit like that
Monero is still a good investment IMO. I have $5k in it and I plan to see it grow in the coming years. It's also really cheap now.
>>1586750
"The code contains malicious functions that allow the Waves developers to execute arbitrary commands. Additionally, we have discovered that the code sends statistics to the Russian government."

What would happen if a small nation like Costa Rica, Laos or Lebanon were to adopt Bitcoin as the national currency?
>>1586735
they would be subject to wild price fluctuations outside of their control and nobody would trade with them. They would basically fall into utter chaos.
>>1586735
every neckbeard would migrate there.
>>1586735
people there would spend an awful lot of time standing around waiting for transactions to verify.
