>If you can't get your friends jobs, what's the purpose of attaining success?
Does /biz/ agree with this?
if you have friends, what's the purpose?
>>1589256
no, your friends should get jobs on their own or else they are losers in my book.
>>1589256
why do you want your friends jobs?

but i don't have friends op
>Not hiring people based on merit
Enjoy your failed business.

>not being friends exclusively with talented, hard working people
>"You can tell a man by the company he keeps"
Enjoy your failed personal and professional life.

If they know their shit, they should be able to get a job without my help.
If they don't and can't, why should I saddle my company with substandard employees?

>not being friends exclusively with talented, hard working people
Hiring friends turns into handing out a favor because they end up not working hard due to them knowing you. Deadlines will be missed and they'll slack because the boss is their friend. Not that you'd know that because you don't actually own a business.

what's the point of power if you cant have a man killed?
>>1589256
It's nice to help your friends out but if they refuse to help themselves and just mooch off you instead, are they even real friends?
>>1589256
Yes and no.
You should not make them your workers. To many friendships died that way.
Helping them up by helping them in getting better jobs, start their businesses or just giving good businessadvice is far better.
So they can succeed on their own, which is important.
Look at the most successfull gangsta rappers. They all elevated their friends so they could stay in their social circle.
