Last week we had a test and the kind hard working girl would lift her exam up so the girl behind could see it. Problem is that my professor can see them too. He changed their seats but they were still cheating. The kind girl is unaware. They are best friend. Should i tell the girl (whisper) that the professor can see her, that he may catch her / embarrass her and make life rough for her?

You can probably tell I like her, atleast in a friendly way. Problem is that the other mooch is her best friend. So is it a bad idea to warn her? what should I do?

I got $10 worth of gas at a station today, and at the end of the transaction it asked for a receipt. I said yes, and the machine said to insert credit card or see at window. I inserted it again, confused, and a pump screen came up, so I assumed the previous transaction went through and left. If it didn't, would I be in any legal trouble?

hi /adv/, I would like to get some suggestions about this situation in which I am right now. There's this girl that I've been knowing for about 2 years, and she's been my friend's girlfriend for almost this whole time, until they broke up about 6 months ago. After the breakup, she started writing to me and I started to help her, cheer her up and so on, until I felt that I was beginning to like her.. it took me a couple of months to admit this to myself, but finally, a week ago, I told her that I like her. She was surprised because she never saw me "in that way", but she didn't say no, she just said that she's still a little confused about what she feels about her ex, and she doesn't want me to be some kind of "replacement", or to "use" me just because she's alone.
We've been seeing each other almost every day this week, cuddling and even sleeping together but without going any further. I really like her, but she thinks that she is not ready to start a new relationship... but simply BEING with her is too good for me, and she likes it too even if she doesn't want nothing more than cuddles... I donut know what to do, if we continue this kind of relation it will end bad for me, I will soon or late feel like shit, but in the same time I want to use all the time possible to be near her, now that I can... is it better to end this right now or is it ok to continue this day by day and just see what happens, being ready to face the pain at the end? thank you guys, and sorry for the messy english.

Does anyone else feel high when they get mildly sunburned?

like a bit sleepy and dopey and a bit mentally and physically uncoordinated?

Cause I do, even after fixing the dehydration with water, and any low blood sugar with food.

So I can either hangout with hit guy I just met last night who looks like Ronnie fro Jersey shore of hangout with my friends that I know through my ex....who I don't know if I should stay friends with or not, I like them but maybe it's a bad idea?

So guys, I need some advice on throwing a party, since I never have before. I'm home at my parents house for the summer from college, and they're out of town till tomorrow.

I expect around 15-20ish people. I sent out a snap that told them of it but said invite only hopefully to keep people I know but don't want from showing up. The people I invited are all responsible enough and good enough friends were they won't get too crazy or do shit that I don't want. What do I do if people start showing up that I don't want? I mean I'll most likely keep the door unlocked so people can just come in, but I don't want to suddenly realize there's 10 people in there I don't want and have to kick them out and look like the bad guy. Actually I think I'll just lock the door so I can control who comes in.

Next, none of the bedrooms are lockable, just the bathrooms. I was going to put all valuables in my bathroom and lock it, which I can open from the outside with a penny. Sound good? And then I was going to barricade the office so it's hard to get in.

Also, my parents are good friends with all of the neighbors directly by us, like to the left, across, and the two kitty cornered, but we don't really know the people to the right. Should I tell them I'm having some people over, and give them my number in case it gets too loud so they can call me and not the cops?

And about noise. I'm going to play some music in just a minute and then walk outside and see how loud it is and adjust accordingly, and when people arrive tonight and the party is at it's peak I'll go out and check noise levels again. I'm also only going to have a few beers so I can stay pretty sober and in control.

Anyways, any other advice? Age range of the party is like 18-22.

So, /adv/, how do you get on the path of finding meaningful, fulfilling human interaction?

In the midst of summer, I've found myself pretty fucking lonely. My friends from my old uni degree (economics) have mostly moved on with their lives, and while I see some of them every blue moon, I find there's little fun to be had past the first couple beers. Something not so different happens with my lifelong friends, which is made worse by every single one of them having a girlfriend; I had a gf once, but we split two years ago and I didn't keep contact--nor wanted to. I got back to uni, this time to study computer engineering (I can do that fro free thanks to having my share of honor mentions and receiving a grant), but the few friends I've made are all way younger and live away from me. I also lost one of my best friends, with whom I used to spend a lot of time composing trailer music.

I'm not an asocial person: I worked at a big 4 firm and there I got commended on my "great social and conversational skills", usually acting as one of the contacts with our clients. I also dabbled as an English teacher this year and I found the social part quite interesting.

Whenever I try to make friends, though, I end up bored in no time, or find myself doing most of the talking. I've had a single friend in all my life with whom I could talk with for hours on end and utter roughly 50% of the words in the conversation. It does not help that my favored topics are rather uncommon.

So, what's the best way of finding people to bond with, maybe start a project with? Should I try to meet people in bulk? Take it easy and wait till summer's over? I've been considering an exchange at uni, I went to Germany last time and it was ok, although I didn't keep in touch with anyone.

How do I talk to girls /adv/?

Everytime I get into a conversation with a girl, my heart beats extremely fast, I stutter and mix up words, I slur and sound like I have a lisp, and I can't look them in the eyes.

I also have very low self esteem and was never social as a child or teenager.

Is something wrong with me?

How to figure out what do I want to do with my life? Im 19, going to college for it/engineering major, and I have literally 0 passion. I dont really want to do anything except slacking off, there is nothing that I consider worth living for. I mean I will probably finish it, find some job, etc. but at the end of the day Im going to feel like Im wasting life. I dont have hobbies. I tried art, playing various instruments, worked out, reading lots of books, but nothing seemed to "click" so far. Even vidya i was so pasionate about my whole life are boring now. Any advice?

Ok so ive been friends with a girl for a year now. But for the past few months I have noticed her behaviour has changed with me. She has a boyfriend, they have been dating for almost 2 yrs. she seems unhappy with her boyfriend. (He is a stoner and he is barely there for her) Anyway, she fb msgs me alot, we talk every day, she flirts with me a little bit, she says she "misses my face" and that we should "see each other soon!" She wants to visit me at my work, she invites me to parties and stuff. We graduated two months ago so we dont hangout over the summer which is normal cuz she is in a relationship. She used to not talk to me when she was with her bf and as soon as he left she would snapchat me, msg me etc. But now, she even snaps me cute snaps when she is hanging with her bf AND SHE NEVER SPEAKS ABOUT HIM TO ME. Not even a little. I sometimes play hard to get and not respond her messages but overall we mutually flirt and talk every day. I like this girl, and Im not sure if im overthinking her behaviour or she actually likes me. Is she interested in me or she just playing with me? Does she really want to hangout with me or is she just saying that? Wdu guys think?
