My gf (who I love with such a passion because she has shown me more effort than any woman I have ever dated in my entire life.) has a bit of a weight and eating disorder. How do I get a place of my own? It seems the cost of living is absurdly high. Even the singles and studios around here begin at $1500 which seems just nuts to me.
I want to move out because my deteriorating relationship with my parents is negatively impacting my mental health, and for other obvious reasons. I have about 7K to my name, but I work retail so most of my paycheck would be going toward rent.
Since the cost of living is so high around here, I'd probably have to move to another state/town. Trouble is, I don't know where to start looking.

Enjoying retail and being capable of doing a law or STEM degree are not mutually exclusive. I finished a science degree but I hated it. Found out what truly makes me happy is serving customers.
