Why do some people think it's acceptable to take so long to get ready? I've seen this more often in women than in men but it applies to both.

Like, they'll have already showered and washed everything but they still take an hour after that. And when you get sick of waiting for them and tell them no one needs over an hour to get ready after they've already showered, they get defensive and like they did nothing wrong by making you wait because they get ready at a pace of a small toddler. Do what you want but don't take forever when I'm waiting for you

I met this girl in college this year. She is 24 and I'm 29. 2 months before I met her her ex-boyfriend of 5 years dumped her to play the field. Because of this she suffers depression and is on medication for it and sees a counselor once a month. She said she likes me but is not ready to have her heart broken again and so she doesn't want a relationship right now. But she adds she can see being in a relationship with me in the future. I told her I'd wait for her. This was 3 months ago. Fast forward to now. We have hung out every once in a while and we have make out and hug but we have not had sex so far as she said she isn't ready, That's fine by me as I am used to going long periods without sex. However since the beginning of our "relationship" or friendship whatever you want to call it, I notice that she texts me less and less everyday now. It doesn't help that I work nights but these days I may only get 1 text from her a day, which I only reply to and ask a follow up question knowing that I'll have to wait another day for the response. I can feel her getting more and more distant and I don't want to accuse her of ignoring me or cheating as that may push her further away. She still says she sees a future with me as she's told me this as recently as last week. My question is do you think she's still actually interested in me or is she trying to let me down easy? As long as it's just the depression and I'm still the guy she wants I want to continue this relationship.

Any time I look for ways to kill myself I end in sites abut getting help and zero advise. I dont need help, I made up mi mind, but I need to be sure that if I try once its over forever, i want to die effectively while resting on my bed or bathtub

although i'm quite attractive and smart, i can't bond with 99% of people, because they seem like pawns to me, if that makes sense. My inferiority complex prevents me from having meaningful relationships.

I dated a girl that I worked with. Everyone told me she was a pos, but she played the pity card on me effectively and I went from being a distant acquaintance, to teaching her how to cook, spending too much time together, working on her car, all the boyfriend things. Well she did fuck all the entire time and started showing her retardedly drunken side more often, so I got annoyed and she'd get angry when I brought up the alcoholism. I felt unappreciated(She never even offered to take me out, but always claimed she loved me) and I did everything. Yet I was lonely and put up with it. In the end she got drunk with some dude, fucked him and told me to get lost. I was upset but held it together pretty well and let her go.

And this nearly cost me my job in the end, because we worked together and after asking her to do some things(which I did in the past with no problem) and not just her alone. She sent me a very angry text and told me that "it cannot continue" and that I need to be "professional". Upper management talked to her and her story changed to me being very aggressive towards her and slamming stuff. But when they grilled her about it, she finally backed down and told them to tell *me*, that she was sorry. Couldn't even do it herself. Then she went back to her "normal" behaviour and kept trying to make small talk with me and questioning things that I did. I gave her nothing to work with, ignored her texts and passes at me.

And professionalism? She eventually got "let go" for stealing high value items at work a few months later. So "yay!" I "won", "dodged a bullet". But then why do I feel so angry? When I found out about her fucking that guy, she told me she did it because she felt that I "didn't appreciate her" and all I could do was stare at her and wonder what she actually ever did. Not even one date she offered to take me out. AM I angry at myself for hurting myself? For wishing her well instead of telling her off? Why can't I be happy about this?

Is it even worth the time using this website if you are a average dude( or black)? I consider myself pretty average but I am also a black guy open to dating most kinds of female.

So I gave this girl really fucking bad stubble burn while making out with her, I shaved less than an hour before we started, and her chin has gone all red and started scabbing over. Like pic but much worse. It looks like it will take a week or so to heal. My facial hair grows really quickly and is really tough, I've been shaving against the grain and everything, but it grows back within a couple of hours every time. Any other anons have the same problem? Do I just have to wax my chin or grow it out to a proper beard?

I'm not a shut-in. I'm really depressed. I can't even bring myself to write my stories or watch movies on the laptop. There are a few things I want to get up and do, but I don't have the money to do them right now, because I am only sluggishly looking for a job. The gym is not an option, because membership money and grocery money to cover the increased caloritic intake ran out months ago.

I'm stuck in bed. I didn't know what to do, except the occasional government bullshit to make sure that I have funds for school this fall.

What should I do in this situation? I'm dreading going back on Monday because I know he'll keep freaking out at me and he just CLINGS to me unlike the other participants. I've been using a lot of hand sanitizer and avoiding contact with him but he doesn't respond well to social cues. Apparently they are going to email his mom but how should I handle this? I'm afraid it will do nothing like the million other times they've talked to him.
