20 years old here:

Yet now that I'm switching majors going into my third year of college, my parents and relatives act like it's the end of the world.
Every time they see me they make sure to tell me that I need to "mature" and "grow up" and stop being so indecisive. It fucking boils my blood to no end.
Meanwhile, my other cousins are total sluts and nigger-tier dudes who party, do insane amounts of drugs, and yet the family fawns over them with respect and kindness.
Literally fuck this family. I swear to God once I move out I'm never calling anyone of these dumb fuckers ever again. They can literally all die in a fire.

It's highly debatable whether Satou actually fixed his problems though. Sure, he started working and became more of a functioning adult, but that does not equal happiness and being content with life. He still did not see his live as an enjoyable thing, nor was his future bright. I think most people would say that the ending was kind of neutral, edging towards sad/negative. I'd personally rather be happy than to conform to society's standards for being "successful"
Why we'd rather have Misaki despite her being "crazy"? It's because she's pure, it's "easier" and she is someone who would actually care (or at the very least feign it) about ourselves. Of course, highly debatable points especially because of the manga. I just idolize the perfect/pure "version" though.

Long time lurker here since 2009.
I've quit my job, signed off the apartment and broken up with my GF of five years. By the end of the month, I will travel to Mont Ral, Spain and study The Bright Path meditation as taught by the Ishaya monks.
