I'm a freelance writer. A lot of my clients came from networking and approach me fairly regularly. The money isn't the best, but it's enough to support myself while traveling in developing countries or wrapping up the last few semesters of my degree.
I also make an additional $1,000 per month from a contract I hold with a law firm. I spend between five and seven hours creating blog content and putting together news analyses and opinion pieces for them every week. It's a really chill job and I get to learn a lot and stay on top of political developments - recently, the editor has been getting e-mails from other attorneys and interest groups seeking to provide me additional material.
Feels good, honestly. Plus, the editor is incredibly helpful and probably one of the best 'bosses' I've ever had. He's encouraging me to write a book on my own and said he'd help provide hook-ups.
Sorry for the blog post, trying to get myself into a good mood TBQFH.

Hey /r9k/, I'm an anon who asked for advice for the same girl on two occasions and I felt to do one last "update".
The first occasion was in November, she had been a classmate and invited me to a Thanksgiving dinner the college had that day, I came early, saw her with her bf and bailed before they could see me. Went here for advice and you told me to cut contact - I didn't.
Second occasion was months ago and a semester later where we accidentally became classmates again. I had asked her out mid-semester and I got memed on, she said she didn't see me that way, she only goes for bad boys, that I'm kind hearted etc. I confronted her about the first occasion after that, feeling I had nothing to lose. It was cringey and made us both look bad(me = beta, her = bitch). Went here for advice and you told me to cut contact - I didn't.
Weeks after that, she started inviting me to study and did a complete 180 in how she dressed from sweat(not yoga) pants and t-shirts to revealing whore dresses that went down to her upper thigh, started teasing me and talking to a bunch of strange guys in front of me to make me jealous(or get fucked). The former worked. I became suicidal and nearly lost my shit that week, I couldn't take it and harmed myself in different ways.
A month or so after my breakdown I kinda got over it and tried to forgive her and be her friend still. It didn't really work since I had to be distant to her for a while after that for my sake and then that distance became a two-way thing.
Our last conversation was a few days ago, it was basically platitudes both ways about how the semester was. We exchanged info about where we're going from here. She's off to a new college and I'm on my way to the hardest semester yet.
Pic related is probably the last time we'll ever speak to each other. It's over.
tl;dr: I'm the guy who asked for advice about a girl who asked him out on Thanksgiving and got rejected with memes by a few months later. Pic related is the ending.

Lemme preface this with saying that I'm not trolling, even if it sounds like it. I'm sorry if my post offends you.
I'm extremely lonely. Being 6'1 and handsome with wide shoulders hasn't done shit for me. Having a bunch of money and owning my own home hasn't done shit for me. Being confident and extroverted hasn't done shit for me.
I'm 24 years old and have no friends. How do you go from having zero friends to having a social circle? Most people go through life making some friends and losing some friends. People usually don't have to start from a dead stop, like me. If you think that friends magically appear because you're attractive and outgoing, you're wrong. If you think that attractive and outgoing people automatically know how to put themselves in the situations in which they make friends, then you're wrong, at least in my case. Does anyone have any advice? I'm not bragging, I seriously don't know what to do.
