Okay, building a retarded tactical shotgun and I need your advice guys.
Do I put an AFG on this piece of shit, or broomsticks. Yes, plural. One bottom, one side.
>>35108525
Why not put an AFG on it and a broomstick on the side?
>>35108555
trips of truth.
Also, maybe just leave it. I didn't like the afg on my pumper... but, whatever, live your truth
>870
>factory extension over +1
>no barrel/mag clamp
are you a fucking lunatic or something?
So I've got about $1500 to spend on a new gun (saving about $500 for an optic) and I'm not sure which route I want to go.
The only holes in my collection that I'm really jonesing to fill is the lack of a 5.56 rifle and a pistol caliber carbine.
As far as the rifles are concerned:
>I find AR's kind of boring
>I prefer left side charging
>I really want a last shot BHO with a slide release.
I plan on getting a SCAR 17 eventually so I'm not terribly interested in the 16.
I would also be happy going with a pistol caliber carbine but I would want to go SBR so that should be factored into price. I've got an unnatural boner for the Kriss, would it be worth it in 10mm?
Noteable mentions:
SIG 556XI. It seems about perfect, but they're kind of hard to find
FS2000. No BHO but again, kind of an unnatural boner for it and I can't shake the idea of it.
Any ideas would be great. Pic unrelated, but my boy Roy Campbell (bottom) would sure appreciate the help too.
get a lever gun in .44 Mag
no I don't know what the options on the market are right now please do my homework for me
>>35108476
Just looking for some first hand experience with guns that fit the description.
I'm aware of some of the options
>SIG 556XI
>CZ 805 BREN
>IWI ACE
>SCAR 16
>Tavor
>AUG
etc etc
Just looking for some input, chill homie.
>>35108509
yeah but dude

I just picked up a psa ar10 from their summer hunting sale for 460 shipped. I just got my dies and need a good load for running in the ar.
Any suggestions?

>whoever's primer
>same-headstamp brass
>147gr FMJ (either pulldown or new)
>somewhere around 46gr Hodgdon BL-C2
BL-C2 is a ball powder that's fairly temperature stable and meters extremely well, is one of the cheaper and more readily available rifle powders due to being "old tech", and produces good accuracy.
>>35108460
I tired using ball powders like varget and 4895 for 54r and hated the way it metered. I'm running a progressive and it always locks up the press and resulted in unreliable powder drops because of the chopping.
I love h335 because it meters and shoots really well, but it's only suitable for lighter loads because it burns too fast.
I'll have to give bl a try.
How come no-one ever talks about Korea? Why does it seem this war is glossed over so much? It was a classic battle against Communism!
>>35108178
Because it was the only war America lost. We don't like to talk about it.
It wasn't a real war
>>35108183> Vietnam
So /k/, I've been looking into finding a good carbine for a while now, and I think the CZ-527 looks pretty good. Any thought on the rifle or possible alternatives?
Great choice. I'd say that's your best option, possibly something like a Ruger Gunsite Scout.
>>35108069
You don't have a lot of options for a carbine, at least in the US market.
True carbines:
>Zastava's micro mausers, which are pure shit
>CZ 527 Carbine
>Remington model 7 (pre-2003 are okay, post-2003 are a gamble)
Carbine-esque variants of full rifles:
>Savage's model 11 Scout and Hog Hunter
>Mossberg's MVP Thunder Ranch and Patrol, which have rampant QC issues
and that's about it.
>CZ 527 American
>Ruger's GSR
IMO the CZ 527 is the best option.
A little more expensive than the 527, but Ruger made an m77 in .357 with an 18.5 inch barrel.
Concealed carry bread. Let's see em, boys. Thinking about picking up pic related.

I like having a backup
I've retired my Hi Power for a P2000. The v1 trigger is great, and it has a better stand-off capability.
OP, the P2ksk is a fair bit thinner than the P30sk in the grip. May be worth a look.
Airshit but does anybody have any thoughts on the similarities between the AK47 and MP44
>>35107941
none whatsoever
what's the point of this thread? To show off your new literal toy?
>>35107954
Well I was hoping to dicuss the prospect of the Soviet union ripping off the design. You know because this is a weapons dicussion board and all
>>35107941
>thoughts on the similarities between the AK47 and MP44
I guess they're both firearms chambered for an intermediate caliber, that's where the similarities completely end.
What is my best option for shooting glasses if i already wear prescription?
>>35107583
You can get prescription inserts for shooting glasses. Also I'd recommend Revision Sawflys.
>>35107583
Wearing your regular glasses or getting a pair of Wiley Xs with your prescription. Wish I never lost mine.
I dont wear glasses but ive always wondered, is it s good idea to wear regular glasses for eye pro at the range? It seems like it wouldnprotect ok but in the case of something pretty bad, wouldnt they shatter?
Im fucking stumped guys. What is this fucking rifle. The dude was arrested in fresno.
>>35107521
nevermind i figured it out guys. Its a ppsh 43. im leaving this thread here as a reminder that google is your best friend.
>>35107521
Pps 43 submachine gun.
>>35107521
hopefully it was a pistol and not a parts kit
Anyone else worried about China? It seems they're quickly catching up in both quality and quantity, and us having incompetent politicians doesn't help.
>>35107472
If you think American politicians are incompetent...
>>35107472
Someone threatening a sole hegemony in the world is always good.
Besides, they will never actually attack the US because China needs US to live. And it goes both ways, US economy hits the bricks if it were to lose China.
2 super powers not intent on pounding each other into dust or even boycott one another is a dream come true, if you ask me.
>Thousands of modernized T-55s with 9К11s
>Hundreds of migs with chinese engines
>Copypasted Su-27s with chinese engines
>Destroyers with soviet missiles
>Nuclear deterrence of 1970s USSR
>No long range aviation
>No nuclear submarines
>No IADS network
>No early warning system
>No united command because general staff would rival party in power
>No combat experience
>2 million zergs and dreams of global domination
I wouldn't lose a sleep over it.

You are about to be teleported to the bottom of the marinara trench. You have 30 seconds to grab whatever gear you'll bring with you.( No guns allowed?
How well do you do?
>>35107335
>How well do you do?
I'm instantly crushed to death, so I may as well take nothing but my naked body.
At least someone might be able to give my clothes to GoodWill or something.

nothing because the pressure will instantly kill a man.
I fucking die
>search: black powder no results
>search: muzzleloader no results
Let's talk about black powder and muzzle loaders
What are some good models, old and new? What are some good modern brands? Tips and tricks to using muzzleloaders while hunting? How many shots do you have to fire to create a smokescreen at the range and piss off the Gucci ARfags?
>>35107022
All I know is that my knight krb7 is a pretty good one.
No goofy methods of getting 209 primers ready to fire, and drop-out-in-seconds trigger/hammer group which gives extremely easy access to the breach plug and barrel for a quick boresnaking.
>How many shots do you have to fire to create a smokescreen at the range and piss off the Gucci ARfags?
Never shot enough, but even one makes a fair bit of smoke.
Has anyone encountered the new 7.62x39 Ruger American Ranch yet? If so any thoughts? How does it chew Tula and Wolf?
I'm curious too. My American in .223 hates any steel case.
Shit.....I might have to pick one of those up. I had a RAR in .223 and liked it (sold it before I moved) and I really want another bolt gun because they are fucking fun as shit, but don't want to pay out the ass for ammo (.308 and .30-06)
This would be perfect for me.
It's a bolt action, so it will literally eat anything you put through it. At worst you might get a faulty steel casing that splits and gets stuck in the chamber.

The protagonists are flying J-10C, btw.
Also, a good part of flight scenes in this movie seems to be real and no CGI.
>>35106908
Such as the J-10Cs starring this movie.
