Is it really so hard to make a nuke? If not, why isn't every country doing it?
>>35106864
it's relatively easy
but expensive, long and dangerous
No, it's so simple a child could do it.
Just look at the norks.
Does anyone have any experience with rail mounts for sig 55x ?
What is the best rail ?
B&T ?

I think I have a SAN SwissArms one (though it's possible it's outsourced and not actually made by them). Let me check if there's any markings on it.
I have no complaints. Does that it should do.
A word to the wise though: do not get the quick detach ones. They tend to get lose and cause wandering zero eventually.
Doing some looking around on the net seems to suggest that the exact model from SAN SwissArms which I have doesn't appear to be listed anymore. Back when I got mine, SAN SwissArms was offering more types it seems.
My model has a big screw on the top of the rear of the real to affix the rail solidly. Unlike some mounts like the current B&T production, it is machined in one piece (the front which mates with the receiver isn't a separate piece of steel).

>A word to the wise though: do not get the quick detach ones.
I should probably go into more detail, since SAN SwissArms now calls their a "Picatinny Mount with quick fastener (model 34 558 070)". That one appears fine.
The quick detach ones which I was talking about are kept in place by spring pressure (and sometimes a weak screw). For obvious reasons, that's not a great setup.

>ICS
Isn't that meant for airshit?
Anyone know where to pick up one of these mounts? Apparently SAN used to make them up until a few years ago, but I can't find one online anywhere
So, in the TV series Shooter the main character sabotaged an enemy sniper's bullet, is this possible? And if it is how was it done?

Happens around the 1:00 mark

>pull bullet
>remove powder
>pack with explosive
>load bullet back
Look up Project Eldest Son.
>>35106666
"Project Eldest Son (also known as “Italian Green” or “Pole Bean”) was a program of covert operations conducted by the United States' Studies and Observation Group (SOG) during the Vietnam War. The project focused on placement of exploding cartridges into supplies used by communist combat forces in southeast Asia. United States technicians assembled 11,565 7.62×39mm cartridges for AK-47 rifles, 556 12.7×108mm heavy machine gun cartridges"
>5(.)56 12.7×108mm heavy machine gun cartridges
Made me kek
>>35106645
>super hotload it
or
>put some kind of explosive in it
bam you've got something that will probably throw the bolt back into the shooter's face
>J-20
>supposed to use Russian engines for the first batch
>Russia increases prices from 3 to 5 millions
>can't produce enough engines anyway
>China just decides to use improved WS-10 engines in the same powerclass of the 117S
It this another coffin nail for the Russian aerospace industry?
>>35106448
How much longer till China starts undercutting Russia on all the aircraft sales to African and middle eastern nations?
>>35106688
Would always go Russian over chinese
Even if it was only for aircraft that look gorgeous on tarmac

That's what people were saying about phones for a while. Now Huawei has overtaken Apple as the world’s second-biggest smartphone maker by sales.
I read the law states "No one shall possess a firearm or firearms or a sword or swords." Obviously theres an exception for hunters, but for anyone else? And do you really have to register swords?
>>35106236
Ridiculously difficult, unless you're in organized crime.
totally illegal. They only have airsoft ranges ffs
>>35106236
You have to be in social clubs and start from shooting small calibers then go up. It takes years and years of experience to get new licenses. Then you add on to the fact you have to do yearly psych evaluations and it gives the police an open invitation to ransack through your shit whenever they feel like it.
Weapons commonly used in kobudo are a bit different being how big of a think martial sports are there. It's still a social joining and licensing thing but it's not like they can tell you which weapons you can have based on your license to have one. They also have a registry for swords much like some of our states have registries for firearms.
Whatever happened to this fella?
Idk. But anyone have any mpre screengrabs?
That shit was insanity
>>35105981
He won the case, got a shit load of funs.
>>35105981
He probably went back to /mu/
It's his home board, i guess?

What do you NEED a gladius for /k/?
A gladius is only used for killing. Anyone who says they use one for hunting is lying. We should only allow short hunting spears with a permit and a 2 week waiting permit
Just ban assault swords already
>>35105692
You know, I get the point of your meme op but no-one in their right mind would hunt with a fucking shortsword back then
>>35105692
but anon how will i defend the italian peninsula from the hordes of africanus?
>>35105703
Just like nobody would hunt with an AR 15 you stupid country hillbilly republican fuck head.
I know OP was being sarcastic but /k/ is a progressive board. We support sensible gun control. Fuck anybody who says they hunt with tactical AR 15s. Oh u need 30 rounds to hunt deer huh?
Why were/are so many mercenaries Anglo?
What is it about the Anglo that leads him to private warfare?
>>35105688
Time, money
>>35105688

The lust for Aryan blood
>>35105688
Best merc was French tho
I know, It's only a 9mm
But they are selling for $300 NIB!
What's /k/ got to say?
>>35105605
Personally, Im pretty lukewarm towards big green as a pistol manufacturer after the R51 was such a disaster.
I can't wait for the mocking threads when it turns out this is a non drop-safe jammomatic. Remington is dead.
Funny how the ambi slide release isn't labelled
What are your thoughts on this gun? Will it ever go anywhere or is it just going to be yet another overly expensive meme gun?
>>35105600
looks pretty and ergonomic
>>35105600
We need independent testing, ballistics reports, and pricing before we make that call.
>>35105600
Looks slick, but they should have just chambered it in 9 or 10 mm.
Just a stupid debate with a friend who insists that one is cheaper, more plentiful and more easy to find than the other. Naturally I'm under the impression the opposite is true. If anyone could let me know which ones are more PLENTIFUL now (not just easier to find, as this is the type of guy who'd still claim that there are more of something and the only reason you don't see it is they're all in warehouses under lock & key), this petty bickering victory would be to your credit.
Bonus-bonus points for which one was produced in the initial production runs in higher numbers as well.
Bonus-bonus-bonus points for credible sauces.
Google just throws up tons of threads about which gun is better to own / shoot / etc, impossible to just find some numbers.
Mosins are more plentiful.
K98 - 14,600,000
Mosin - 37,000,000+
>>35105372
Mosins are more plentiful than the k98 but Mauser-type rifles are more numerous than mosins.
>>35105372
>Google just throws up tons of threads about which gun is better to own / shoot / etc
is there ANYONE who thinks a Mosin is a better gun than the k98k?
How would the emergence of Smart Pistol technology affect modern warfare? What kind of innovations would be required to make one or would it just be completely impossible/ not worth the cost of R&D?
Other scifi/future weapons discussion also welcome
>>35105113
in tf land the technology is considered prohibitively expensive which is why it's only used in a weapon intended for secret agents and special forces.
in real life it would probably be jammed quite easily, and the ammo would be expensive as fuck, in addition to the weapons themselves. another big problem is the range at which the system could track targets.
>>35105132
I think the upscaled version they mount on Legion's chaingun could have some interesting implications for point defence. Couldn't the SP shoot grenades and rockets out of the sky if you got a lock?
>>35105148
tf2 buttfucks the lore pretty hard. the sp can do that, yes, but missiles already do that. it's basically just a heavily miniaturized version of existing technology.
If you could only choose between a battle belt or a chest rig to hold all your mags, sidearm, etc. which would you choose?
the chest rig makes getting in and out of vehicles alot easier. Also the belt makes you WAY harder to drag if you're wounded.
>>35105062
I'd choose battle belt.
>>35105062
I'd choose battle belt dont have any real reason other than i feel more comfortable with it senpai
Can /k/ identify these pistols?
