I know it doesn't look very aesthetic, but wasn't the NVA helmet design technically very smart? It is much more sloped design compared to other helmets, increasing the chance on richochets. It's wide so it protects the user from rubble. It's like a hybrd between the British Brodie helmet and the German Stahlhelm.

Can someone explain what the appeal is of buying an SKS and putting it into a tactical stock? I can understand the appeal of a basic SKS if you can get it for $300 or less - it's a reliable semi-auto in a useful caliber for people who truly can't afford any more than that. But then these people are adding all these aftermarket attachments to their guns, which brings to total cost of the rig up into the realm of $450 AR's, and even exceeding that, despite the fact that a $450 AR already has all the ergonomics and functionality that a fully tacticalized SKS would ultimately have. Why do people do this?

Possibly related: I never really played video games until recently when I got into PUBG, but I noticed that the SKS appears in vidya a lot, and gamers seem to prefer an SKS in a tactical stock over a lot of other in-game weapons, like an AK, for example, which would logically be the better weapon in real life. It's weird to me. Are people buying and tacticalizing SKSes just to imitate vidya?

So my wife finally had enough of being harassed and wants to start packing heat. We are going to get her a CHL, but she is a lefty!

Looking at lefty guns is scary, too pricey. She liked my dad's .380 and we are thinking of getting her something along those lines.

Just checking in with /k/ to get some recommendations. Anything for an affordable, reliable lefty accessable .380?

Does anyone have some statistical breakdowns of the amount of men served(and in which theater), casualties suffered and GDP spent by the individual American states in World War II?

I have been looking all over the internet and have come across only one article that even lists casualties in past American wars by state (the list including ww2 obviously)

Im try to make a new style of Incendiary granade.
>not to melt a small places down [just take thermit for this]
