BL-C2 is a ball powder that's fairly temperature stable and meters extremely well, is one of the cheaper and more readily available rifle powders due to being "old tech", and produces good accuracy.

I tired using ball powders like varget and 4895 for 54r and hated the way it metered. I'm running a progressive and it always locks up the press and resulted in unreliable powder drops because of the chopping.

I love h335 because it meters and shoots really well, but it's only suitable for lighter loads because it burns too fast.

I'll have to give bl a try.

I got the rifle under 460 shipped. The lower was 159, and the upper 299. I could easily flip it for a couple hundred profit.

I've always wanted one, and I doubt you'd be able to get one for any cheaper. I've already got a 54r vepr and a 700 30-06 so it wasn't out of "lol meme 5.56" necessity.

45 grains of win 748 with a 147 grain fmj works for me.


43.5 grains of imr 4060 with a 168 grain eld is perfect.
