So I want to buy an UZI carbine that I intend to SBR with an SMG length 10.2" barrel when I get my paper work back.

Should I get a Century or Vector built clone? I would buy a genuine UZI submachine gun or IMI built carbine if I had the money but I don't. So I have to settle for a clone.

I'm dead set on an UZI carbine. No way you can talk me out of this or anyone on here.
>>
McKay is going to be selling fully welded receivers in 2-3 weeks, pick up a bolt assembly and a receiver, then buy an IMI parts kit and barrel. It'll run you around 6-700~ USD but you will be able to put it together and make it yours.

Do you guys have any recommendations for affordable suppressor-ready (i.e. factory threaded) handguns? The CZ P-07 seems like a decent choice at $500, but I was kind of hoping for something in .45 ACP. Can anyone give me some pointers here?

There are plenty of threaded suppressor ready 9mms but .45s are a lot more expensive for no logical reason.

I'd think if you didn't want to spend $1000 on something like an FNX45, which is about the cheapest factory suppressor ready .45. Or you might do something like start with an M&P .45 for $450, buy a threaded barrel or have the barrel threaded by Tornado Technologies, add tall sights and I bet it'd come in under $800.

But then you'd still have an M&P.

I have a Sar K2 .45, it was cheap as frig, and with a Tornado barrel thread job it would be like $600. I don't know if CZ sights would fit on it (I would think so...) but if they do you could get tall sights for another $100 or less.

But here's a question for you: Why do you want to suppress .45 in the first place?

We don't know.
Maybe if someone gets a hold of some we'd find out.
The stuff they use for their fancy units are pretty good but the rest of their army gets all their old shit.

Is this a meme knife? I'm thinking of getting one, haven't heard anything bad about it. Don't know much about Spyderco knives, just know everyone raves about the Delica 4. Even people with a shit load of knives say this is their favorite and most used knife out of the bunch.

I think I have the dragonfly 2, which is a leaf-style blade and well under 3" so there's no doubt if a cop in my lib state sees it.

I used to have the bigger Endura 4 and it was just too large to pull out in public. I used it at the laundromat once to open a box and it freaked out the normies.

Even my dragonfly looks "dangerous" to them.
So what I'm saying is the smaller it is, the more likely I am to carry it on the daily and use the thing. The bigger knives only come out on special ocassions.

I'm probably buying a USP 45, not the tactical cause I'm not getting a suppressor. However I will in the far future.

Are the aftermarket threaded barrels for standard USPs good along with the aftermarket suppressor sights? How do standard USPs work when they are made suppressor ready.

>>
>>35094520
I'd get an OEM threaded barrel for it, a heavier recoil spring also. HK barrels are among the best. I would go ahead and buy the tactical if I was you, wait and find one on sale if you have to.
>>
>>35094520
If you're going to do it anyway, get it done right by HK. It will likely be more economical in the long run anyway. In the far future you'll be kicking yourself for cheaping out on what should have been an excellent gun to keep forever.
>>
>>35094520
Get the tactical. If not for the barrel, get it for the kickass match trigger. It's about as good as a Sig P229 SRT trigger.

Honestly, for the price, that's a fine choice. I'd rather pay the extra $70-$100 for the Taurus 605 though. Almost exactly the same gun but you get to use the .357 too.

Chinamen are craftier than you would think
>>
>>35093972

C96's and other wacky .32 pistol copies were mainly popular because of export restrictions into China during the interwar period. They couldn't get a lot of modern boltguns, but pistols were relatively unrestricted.

So, you got a lot of pistols into the country, particularly in stocked form.

The Chinese military standardized on the pattern, people made copies, and it became very common.

I would imagine they used a lot of them simply because they had them, and that we simply just don't hear accounts of them fucking up or being shitty (Them being beloved probably being a major factor in this). Plus, compared to just using one as a pistol, a stocked C96 is a very different animal.
>>
>>35093972
They liked the C96 because that was what was available. Germany was their biggest supplier of arms until outbreak of World War II.

So how do you personally handle weapon safety and what precautions do you take to be safe when using your firearm?

Have you taken any gun safety training or have you learned on your own?

Not being a complete fucking retard goes a long way. Literally why would you go to "safety" training when you can get pretty much all information online.
I'm not dissing training, I was involved in 4H gun clubs for a long time and safety was integral, but basic firearm safety should not require a long drawn out class.

M8 don't be a cheap ass, get one with a full face visor or one where the filter isn't smack dead in the middle because you won't be able to aim a rifle correctly with a big bulky filter in your way.
