How would you make a fire mage feel original, something more interesting than your archetypic fireballs dunkmachine?

Yes that's an actual honest to the Didact thing, we have halo ground command which is 1:100 made by spartan games

Luckily 343 has a three year release plan for Halo: Ground Command, which should have the Pelicans and the Phantoms released by the end of the month, more infantry by itself in 6-8 weeks, The Scorpion, more Warthogs and the Wraith coming in the in between, and the scarab by the middle of next year (and for the scarab they are shooting for 350 - 450 USD price range), plus scenery to pad things out.

Things like jackals, ultra and snipers are already modeled and waiting for various stage of approval (the ultra and the snipers are basically done, and where supposed to come out in the box but 343 decided to shuffle them to provide a simpler mechanic on the starter set and for Canon issues)

With things like different variations of elites, hunters and grunts coming down the pipeline to allow for the creation of themed armies.

We can talk about the included painting guide, or the fact that scenarios will be released for free online, or that you will be able to buy your own units without having to worry about bundles, or the included scenery, but the bread and butter of it would be the reaction system.

The reaction system allow for players to react with a single unit, to another player's action during that player's turn based on a roll of a 2d6 and the reaction value of the unit in question.

There's so many stories out there where a bad GM contrives some ridiculous moral dilemma in order to make a paladin player fall, but honestly it seems a lot easier to bullshit some rationale for why a druid PC has failed to "revere nature" and needs to attone.

Why do you never hear stories about GMs fucking over the druid's player in some way? They seem to be just as liable a target to passive-agvressive GMs stripping their class powers, but historically that seems to be a treatment only reserved for paladins.

So of all the regiments in 40k.


Why haven't we gotten "official" Navy Seals/Korean UDT knock offs yet? We have all this shit about jungle or desert warfare but never anything about actual aquatic naval warfare in 40k.


I know there are some fan regiments for this but I would like to see some reasons.

Last we left, you had found a dilapidated castle hidden with the forest. The fort has a large courtyard surrounded by outer walls, with a keep, stables and prison/ crypt. Having raised the remains in the crypt your horde grows. After sending them out exploring a group of bandits, that you had previously encountered attacked and all were killed save 1, who has been dragged out of the crypts where he was hiding. You drag a regal looking chair to the centre of the keeps hall, seating yourself upon it. Your skeletons and zombies, including a previous recently deceased friend, are dragging a screaming and teary bandit on his knees in front of you. You undead dog sits beside you and you idly run your fingers through it fur covered head, it pants raspingly as you look down at the man.

You fell asleep in your costume again.

It might have mattered, long ago. Long ago you might have been relieved to transform out of it after a hard day's work. You might have been relieved to get back to your normal life, as a normal girl, with normal problems.

After a while you just stopped caring. The costume stays on. You don't even sleep much anymore, only in the times when your body finally decides to shut down. Or at least until you realize that you've gone for so long without rest that you were only shooting up hallucinations. Days aren't that much important, anymore. You keep asking for problems, even the horrible ones. The ones that even that vodka-fellating bitch wouldn't take.

You look like shit, you feel like shit, and for the fourth time this week, you've forgotten what your name was. It's at the tip of your tongue, if your mouth didn't taste like flesh and stale alcohol at the moment.

What do you call yourself? Hopefully not something stupid again. Braids never really got over how you started calling yourself that name again.

Well men, I hate to say it. But it seems the Navy fucked up bad this time. Real bad... So much so, that it seems they mistook our earlier communications with them as signs of trouble, and decided to bomb everything within a one-hundred and fifty mile radius. Turning the desert around us into glass. But hey! It got rid of the nearby Orks! So that's a plus!

Not really, we've had Xeno infiltrators, Chaos infiltrators, Villains, Heroes, Normal Guardsmen, Crazed Guardsmen, Assassins, Psykers, Space Marines, Inquisitors, Squats... just think whathever and join the fun.

Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.

We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.
It's important to know that the regiment is now in the employ of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, with influence from an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and under the watch of an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor. Yes we've been through a lot of shit.
