Jumpers, what jumps are intentionally saving for later, and why?
>>
>>48812109
I deliberately saved Worm for late enough that I could make Scion eat his hair.
>>
>>48812109
I'm saving Gundam SEED for late in the chain so that I can use a retained fanfic drawback to go to a specific fanfic I love/hate and mess with the OCs.

>>
>>48812340
I usually wear clothing to blend in with the setting, I've never cultivated a consistent style.

I saving Fate for the moment so I could mentally and physically destroy Gilgamesh.
>>
>>48812340
I like to wear black and red, lots of leather and trenchcoats and stuff. It's part of this self-parody thing where I embrace the edgy OC fanfic-ness.
>>
>>48812416
Too lazy.
>>
>>48812109
Anyone else has this problem where they keep postponing lots of jumps, because you think you can get more out of them if you find specific combinations of perks?
>>
>>48812340
I like to strut around completely naked. It's not like anyone's going to stop me.
>>
Back just in time for the new thread. Glorious. I shall repost this then.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ajCSt1IwBTvKehm_n68GtdZEHE9Plu6Yxi18GptV9P4/edit?usp=sharing

The above link and attached PDF are both for the WIP for The Fifth Element Jump, though the PDF is missing a few things I've updated in Google Docs since posting it the first time.

I am going to be working on fluff and Drawbacks, but feel free to comment here or on the G.Doc by using the Comment button in the upper left hand corner. I'll be paying attention to both.

I'm still stumped on the Drop-In 400 CP perk, so suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Props to Annette for suggesting what turned out to be an awesome Priest 400 CP perk.

>>48811014
Thanks for your support. I always do my best to capture the feel of a setting and it's nice to hear praise for such.

Yes, you do still get the dual-layered voice if you want it. I've made a note to that effect. Thank you for pointing out that Drawback. I plan to completely rewrite it while I write the Drawback's fluff.

>>48812109
F,E,A,R. due to a personal and irrational paranoia of Alma. Adventure Time and Zootopia are being saved for a semi-vacation Jump after I survive something that really should have killed me. Oh, and Warhammer 40K The Imperium is being saved until absolutely last as my End Jump.

>>48812340
I actually have a pretty good sense of fashion after I ran a clothing boutique for several years in Kill La Kill. I like to dress to blend in, usually in something I've layered several levels of enchantments on. A necklace and rings are pretty much mandatory for me. If I put on my cloak, then you know something has gone wrong.
>>
>>48812484
I have the reverse problem. I want to rush Jump B, because it gives something awesome in Jump A but then Jump C gives something awesome if I take it to Jump B, and and so on and so forth until I just give up and do a rolling Chain.
>>
So, what are the big threats to look out for in Person of Interest? I believe I recall someone mentioning an evil supercomputer, but is there anything else?
>>
>>48812109
Technically Speaking, I'm waiting for an Exalted Heroic Mortal jump before I do any of the Exalted jumps at all. Just because I want to do them all in a row, and it just seems more fitting to start with a steady power escalation, from low powered to high powered.
>>
>>48812497
Glad to help.

>>48812586

Has anyone even claimed that yet? You're waiting for something that may potentially never happen.

Are there any perks that specifically allow you to control someone's future fate? Like placing geas or engineering a Manchurian Candidate plot?

Also, what are the best Just As Planned perks?
>>

I'm saving One punch man for the moment my (currently 540km tall) Dungeon can be a challenge for him.
I /could/ cheat by using the effect tablet to delevel him but that'd be cheating

I wear black and purple dresses most of the time, but I used to wear a huge brown duster and scarf for most of my chain after the huye breakdown in Worm.

>For Incredibles, since Wardrobe makes upgrades shared across all of your suits would importing multiple outfits as suits spread their properties across both each other and any other suits Wardrobe provides?
Sorry, managed to overlook this for a good while. Been busy lately.

Importing multiple outfits wouldn't spread their already existing properties across each other and other suits provided by Wardrobe. Any upgrades added after afterwards, to any of them, could be spread to all of them though.

It's not too big a hassle to acquire clothing, but if I'm short on time or something I can just shapeshift my flesh to look like clothing.

Somewhat, yeah. As long as you're on fire, you won't really be bothered by fire/heat as intense or lesser compared to your own.

So most 'normal' fires aren't much of a problem. But you'd still be in danger of geting burned by significantly hotter fires and stuff.

AI crafting. I grew to love it way back in FTL and Ar Tonelico only reinforced it. I just love the idea of slowly teasing consciousness into being with strings of code.

Sorry for clogging up the thread as much as I am with these WIPs, but here's the next version of the WWE jump. I added some undiscounted perks to make you actually good at wrestling, and revised some perks that people disliked.

Feedback, as always, is welcomed.
>>
>>48813437
So the resistance only kicks in while you're on fire? Can you use other fire abilities you have to set yourself on fire? Like could I use fire bending, photokinesis, Lichfire (Adventure Time), etc.?

I think the part where two universes are no-shit obliterated(completely), there's a bad dude who is more or less conceptually unkillable due to the paradox mechanics involved with his creations, etc etc
I can see why, kinda, since even while the bad guy was "defeated' you can't find anyone who's capable of actually explaining how it was done anywhere without it going into conspiracy theories or meta shit
>>
>>48813681
...so why don't we get any of that without locking us into endmodes that are worthless?
>>
>>48813658
My Jolteon from back in Pokemon. DC as in Direct Current electricity, her name. She's stuck around all these years and has delved deep into the Arcane Arts from across the multiverse. So she's much better at it than I am.

>>
>>48813748
>worthless
Oh, it's you. Go away.
>>
>>48813643
Yes, only while you're on fire.

You'd need to find a way to combine it with other fire abilities yourself. You could firebend the fire you make with Self-Combustion, control the light it gives off with photokinesis, but you'd need to find some way to replace normal fire with Lichfire on your own to do so.

>>48813748
Because it's a Sburb jump. Not a Homestuck jump. Normal Sburb sessions don't get that shit, so its inclusion would make little sense.

Also, it would make the jump an utter horror to balance.
>>
>>48813817
Eh, I'm not getting as much of a consensus on that one as I was on many other things that I removed or nerfed, so I think it'll stay. It's been toned down since its first appearance, and I made the language around it more clear. If you have any ideas to tone it down further, I'll think about them.

Anything else? Still hunting for ideas for equipment to round out the items for heel and face...
>>
>>48813813
Trees and streets can get Stands. The real issue is figuring out how to scratch her with the Arrow, as well as figuring out something that works as a power for her.

English kind of lost all credibility as an unstoppable villain when he got affected by time stop despite being the guy who lords over time itself. Also, apparently cueball weapons can damage him anyway, and that immortality really doesn't mean shit because the Condesce died despite having it?

I think the entire reason it's marked as endgame is because it lifts the restriction that makes you unable to grab the house artifact or First Guardian powers, or both. If that was still there (maybe not the First Guardian thing since omnipotence isn't actually that potent in the setting, and you lose it at the end anyway, or do you, I mean you should since the Green Sun's dead, right? Either way the retcon artifact kind of makes you truly unstoppable once mastered) it'd be fine as just a drawback.
>>
>>48814183
Well, anon, I added the Bathrobe of DOOM and "IT WAS ME AUSTIN" to reflect the greater power storyline, I added "the Jumpster" to reflect the Hulkster motorcycle, "Hey vince, that's you're money!" and the 600 CP drawback were all from the Trump takeover bit, and Nearly all of the heel perks were inspired from by the rock from the attitude era. Naturally, I'm gonna have a lot of stuff from where the WWE is right now, because that's the most well-known stuff. Most of the stuff from the 50s just isn't that well-known.

I think I've got a good spread, but if you have any ideas beyond "scrap the whole thing", I'd genuinely love to hear them.

And locking it behind that kind of restriction is wrong. It as stupid as the idea of locking us from multiple Exaltations or locking us from the true Eyes of the World. It's in a setting, we should be able to get it.

This rash of "no too OP" that certain jumpmakers seem to love pushing on us is stupid and needs to be changed.

Jump fiat. It has never worked like that, you never screw jumpers over like that.

Wukong is removing the lock on multiple Exaltations. I kind of agree on the Eyes of the World, considering the two people who you need to take it from are buff as shit.

>>
>>48814358
John Cena can beat anything in the multiverse. Wrestlers are world sundering heroes. Nothing can defeat wrestler X.
>>
>>48814390
If you didn't pay for it with CP, it relies on an outside power source, and that power source doesn't exist in other worlds, there is no reason it should work.

>>
>>48814405
And it was wrong of the jumpmaker to put us at so low of a level that we couldn't take it from those two people, on top of putting in that restriction. It's interjump balance and the jumpmaker was WRONG to do it.

Hey, I was just responding to a "what do you use for crafting?" question and then realized my chain was flawed as fuck, and then tried to figure out how I could reconcile it while also reaching my end-goal of fixing Act 6 and finding the epilogue. I don't know what happened.
>>
>>48814358
Stick to things which actually happened in the WWE or its predecessors, rather than the Internet shit. Ham it up rather than magicking it up. If you have to embellish it with supernatural shit, then draw inspiration from things like the Undertaker getting sealed in a coffin and his spirit rising to take vengeance.

That's kind of like saying if you turn into a Kryptonian using morphing , the need for Yellow Sunlight is removed via Jumpchain fiat.

Go ahead. I'll wait and laugh at the reactions you get.

So, I was gone for a bit. Somewhat suprised by all the Exalted talk last thread, didn't expect it to spill over. Probably should've asked this then, but since I missed it, I guess I'll do so now.

Infernals. Their Charms are a lot more dependant on Essence scores than other types of Exalts. As such, capping them at 5 doesn't feel good to me. Not to mention that'd block off Devil-Tiger, which is cool.

On the other hand, an Essence 10 Infernal would pretty much have Primordial-tier free reign to fuck around with reality, but with pretty much no canon Charm support.

So, instead, I propose banning making your own Essence 6+ custom Charms, meaning you can go to 10 and get more motes while the lower essence charms can get their extra dice from high Essence.

Because Infernals don't really get that much in the way of Essence 6+ charms (unlike Solars), and of the elder-essence charms they do get only two seem actually problematic for the chain. (Well, them, and the Charms build off them.)

[Yozi] Eternal Essence. Which makes them unkillable, unless the attack on them is supported by effects that can permanently kill spirits. I'm not sure if that should be banned. My gut says ban, but I am not sure how common "effects that can permanently kill spirits" would even be.

...and [Yozi] Cosmic Principle. Which removes their Exaltation, human soul, and all but one Yozi's Charms. The first step to becoming a Yozi/Primordial clone. Which is less a concern on it being too powerful, and more... well. You're becoming a monomaniacal being that lacks the ability to even conceive anything outside of their theme. You're essentially overwriting your very existence with the specific Yozi/Primordial's.

So, anyway, that's my thoughts. No Essence 6+ customs, maybe no Eternal Essence depending on what kind of responce I get to that, and... should I even ban the clone path? Considering that it's worst idea and fucks you over from the very first Charm?
>>
>>48814528
Yeah, I tried to base the Jumpertaker off of the undertaker's fluff of being a servant of satan. The "sealed in a coffin" thing does give me an idea for Heel items, though. The Bathrobe of doom bit came from the higher power storyline, and I thought it fit.

Anything else?

>>

>>
>>48814549
Yes, that is precisely how it works. Vampire weaknesses are removed post-jump, why wouldn't it be the same for anything else? Forcing drawbacks post-jump is the same as nerfing, which is wrong. Something tells me you've been hanging out with Red too much, which makes me even more glad she's gone since she won't have to force jumpmakers into this shitty attitude anymore.

Letting us go above Essence 5 but not make Essence 6+ custom charms sounds reasonable. We can still do a pretty great Devil-Tiger custom charmset limited to Essence 5 charms. Hell, most Primordial charms are Essence 5 or lower, they just have expanded effects once you're at higher Essence.

Sorry if this is overstepping boundaries, but here:

When you're on the ropes and all hope seems lost, you'll find out you're not alone. Whether it's by humming a certain tune, calling on the courage of all americans, or spitting on the face of The Man even as he beats you down into the ground, you'll be able to summon one of the greatest heroes of the WWE from beyond time and space once per jump in order to put an enemy you can't defeat out of comission. They'll be at the top of their game, wrestling with such skill and ferocity that no opponent will be able to defeat them- but they won't finish them off. Your opponent will be out of it for one week in which neither of you will be able to affect each other, and you can bet any belts you might get this decade that they won't just sit on their thumbs once they're up and about again.

Doesn't really change anything mechanically beyond summoning wrestlers other than Cena, but people might be more amicable to the perk without the memes.

Anyway, I also had the idea to have two perk lines for each background (one for normal wrestling, one for blatantly supernatural fighting) with the drawback that just makes it all ordinary wrestling locking the latter lines, but all I really got going on that front is a Heel capstone that lets you send the souls of the heroic to hell in order to gain physical power and burn the souls of the innocent to fuel energy blasts and undead summons (like in the fighting games) courtesy of your boss from the DEEP south, and a Face capstone that lets you gain power from the belief the innocent hold in you. Those don't really seem to work with the setup you seem to be going for so iunno.

>>48814570

>>
>>48814625
Why? It's canon in marvel that if you take the infinity gems outside of their own universe they are reduced to pretty paperweights. If you took the infinity gems from earth 616 to earth 2149, they would do nothing, and you might break them if you try to use them. It's also canon that if you use them to affect another universe that they might work but they will break being a one time usage.

It never matters if it's canon or not. We take them out of the setting, it should work for us. Things we take out of a setting work off of fiat, that is the one golden rule of Jumpchain that has never been broken. Red's jumps aren't special. They have never been special. It's a jumpmaker's job to enable jumpers, and barring content for petty reasons like "b-but muh setting" is wrong and stupid. It is wrong, and it needs to be corrected immediately.

>>48814758
>>48814761
The setting exists for jumpers to take, destroy, twist, change, or do whatever we want to them. When options are barred for petty snowflake reasons, that isn't representing the setting. When jumpers are forced to be below the MC, that isn't representing the setting. That is WRONG and bars us from content.

>>48814748
And jumpers are the ones who take them out of the setting, therefore they should work because a jumper has them. Do you know nothing about the chain?
>>
>>48814679
No, that's good. You came forward with a suggestion that was well thought out, had good reasoning behind it, and were really chill about it.

You're right that that removes the memes and doesn't change things beyond that mechanically, but removing that does remove a bit of flavor, which is the whole point of flavor text. That being said, I'll strongly consider it.

And as for 2 capstones, one supernatural and one not? I was hoping to support mixed setups, so that people could have both. You did give me an idea on how to expand the jumpertaker, though, so thanks for that.

Because I'm a stealth jumper (read: a jumper who hides the truth that they are a jumper) I usually

stick with something that passes for normal.
Unless I just don't care, and am not doing stealth anymore.

That said, I like to wear lab coats whenever possible, because they make me look smart and make it

seem less weird when I start doing crazy science shiz. Because of course I know science -- I'm

wearing a lab coat! Duh!
I also usually have goggles as some form of accessory, for similar "they make me look techy"

reasons, but mostly because I think they look cool. I like goggles.
When labcoats aren't allowed, I usually wear a coat, jacket, or robes of some kind, depending on

the setting and occupation. Unless the weather's too hot.
I have also been known to wear really normal stuff. Like T-Shirts.

Of course, if I really don't care, then depending on what I'm doing that jump I either go with the

labcoat again, or if I'm doing the evil overlord thing sometimes I dress up like straight Sauron.

Or maybe Lord Dominator?
I did that in Mad Max.
I did a dance number on my bigass truck while it was flying down the desert, in full plate armour.

> Do you even still wear clothes?
Sometimes in my warehouse I don't. But that's more like a "I don't have anywhere to go today, so

I'm just gonna not wear pants" kinda thing.
Then again, sometimes I just wear the same thing five days in a row for that same reason.
Vera gets pissed off about it.

I'd tentatively say yes only if the AI is bound as opposed to unbound to its form. What I mean by bound/unbound is a Mass Effect analogy: Geth are considered unbound because they can pretty much run on anything that has sufficient computing power and can swap around their programs, while EDI would be bound because the identity we know as EDI is running on a particular instance of quantum computing and if someone were to transfer the datafiles that compose EDI to another quantum computer, the nature of quantum mechanics wouldn't make the resulting AI as EDI anymore because of quantum stuff that I don't remember the name of.

tl dr: If you can transfer the AI to another hardware without changing its personality/identity/whatever then it doesn't count as part of their form.

Obviously the BEST way to do this is to game my drawbacks to render my allied side (The Immortals) mostly ineffectual, while strengthening Django to unheard of levels.
In this way, I make the world safer.

No. You're limited to Essence 5 until you've been an Exalted for 100 years. You're limited to Essence 6 until 250 years. Essence 7 until 500 years, Essence 8 until 1000, after that there's no time barrier between 9 and 10. Total cumulative cost to reach Essence 10 is 435XP. Downtime XP gains with no adventures or exciting events to earn you XP is more than enough for you to have stocked that away by a millennia of age even with spending XP on raising other stats and learning charms.

No, that's total age. To get to Essence 10 only takes a thousand years of time as an Exalt total, not the time of every category added together. Even if it was, that would only amount to 1850 years. Far from "hundreds of thousands of years". Getting to Essence 10 only takes a hundred jumps. Shorter, if some of those jumps go longer than the typical decade. You could go to Civilization right after Exalted and get it done with only a single jump.

>>48814897
Setting the cap on customs at 5 instead of 7 or so is mostly because Infernals/Primordials get the VAST majority of their Charms at that point anyway, with after that the only things really left for them being a very small selection of new effects and more general reality rewriting fuckery.

I mean, barring a mass ban or something, the thread will be here when you get back.

And as garbage as the latest updates to Google Drive have been, it does let you sort by date now, so it's not even all that hard to catch up on what you missed.
Don't overtax yourself. This entire thing is purportedly for fun.

It's weird, but I think of those three I will look forward to Zatch Bell the most, despite the fact that I have never seen how it ends. I saw it when it was running on Cartoon Network and I always thought it was really cute, but I'm pretty sure they stopped running it about halfway through.

>>
>>48815167
And? I can kill an essence 10 exalted solar in that number of jumps even if they were only vacations. That level of power is nowhere near 'post spark banned' degrees of bullshit.

This setting gives you this level of power after 'only' a thousand years? And the setting itself has a comparable power level? Why should it be banned, because no one jump should ever give above a certain level of power, even if that level of power is within the scope of the setting itself, and is merely a potential that needs to be developed first, and isn't even so great by itself when sufficiently considered?

Dr. Riddles needs friends, also the CN version of the show stopped right before the biggest two arcs, which blows, you should go read the manga if you want the story.

>>
>>48815347
This. If you're banning essence 6+ custom charms, just scrap devil tiger completely. It's basically the entire point of going that route, if you take that away then there's just no reason to go for it.
>>
>>48815371
You need something Drop In like that doesn't alter the jumper at all: no memories, knowledge, or ties. You can call it whatever you want, but it needs to be an option for those jumpers that don't want their heads messed with at all.

No amount of "you get these memories but it doesn't fuck with you" origin caveats will be sufficient.
>>
>>48815326
It's not. He's letting you get to that level of power. I wasn't advocating for banning it, I was just explaining how long it would take to get that strong.

>>48815334
I don't think so. Core says there's no time barrier, and I'm not seeing anything in Scroll of Errata.

>>48815347
No, a Devil-Tiger's custom charms would be Essence 5 or lower, because that's what Primordial charms are at. Most Primordial charms have low Essence requirements for entry, and just get better at higher Essence. Banning Essence 6+ customs only restricts things like becoming a Primordial yourself. Which you really shouldn't want to do anyway, it's a trap option. So actually, he could allow it, now that I think about it. Let the people who want to waste their power waste their power.
>>
>>48815371
I know that's how Dresden does it.
>>
>>48815347
No? The Devil-Tiger path is all written-up in a canon sourcebook, and can be taken without having to write up your own Essence 6+ Charms.

Infernals/Primordials get the VAST majority of their Charm before Essence 6. The Ebon Dragon, the only one with a real representation of 6+ Charms had all of four charms in that range. Three of which were upgrades to other charms. (Not counting the I-am-a-Yozi Charms.)
>>
>>48815396
I can't really think of any Drop-in perks is the thing.
>>
>>48815439
>and can be taken without having to write up your own Essence 6+ Charms.
But isn't that the point of Devil-Tiger? To become your own custom being instead of simply copying everyone else?
>>
>>48815491
Drop in perks don't have to have a theme, you could just put a bunch of perks that could fit in other lines or just miscellaneous perks.
>>
>>48814808
>It never matters if it's canon or not. We take them out of the setting, it should work for us.
Standard for Jumpchain is "things work out of jump the same way they work in jump." The setting has different dimensions in that jump, and stuff like the Infinity Stones can exist in multiple dimensions, and only have supreme administrative assess over the one they originate in. This is a no brainer, the right call was made.
If you want to jailbreak the set, put some effort into it. Maybe collect the entire set in jump, and import them as jujus in Sburb. That makes them unique across all realities, and might do the trick.
Or try something else.
>>
>>48815491
Going kinda meta with the drop in tree is acceptable. Princess Bride made the Drop In an author. Lone Wolf made the Drop In a reader. Fiddle with things like that.
>>
>>48815528
So you become your own custom being with 1-5 essence charms? 6+ essence stuff isn't required for originality.
>>
>>48815528
Yes, and all the new charms you'd make would be Essence 5 or lower, because they'd still be Primordial charms and that's how Primordial charms work. Given that a Primordial is quite literally made of its charms, this could be seen as it wanting some redundancy in case it ever has its Essence lowered somehow, to make sure it won't spontaneously cease to exist. But of all the Primordial charms we know, the vast majority are Essence 5 or lower and just have expanded effects if your Essence is higher. They all have notes at the end saying things like "a character with Essence 6 or greater can _____". The only Primordial charms we know of that are inherently high-Essence are the ones that turn you into a Primordial and, in the process, limit your metaphysical nature so much that taking one of them is a trap option.

Personally, I like the inner world-body and soul hierarchy much more. But the personal theme is also nice.

Anyway, yes, it is. Which you can still do. Again, Infernal/Primordial charms are nearly always low-essence, and just get better with higher essence. There's no reason a Devil-Tiger would suddenly have to start its Charm tree at Essence 6.

You can still become an awesome custom being. In fact, you'd probably become more awesome than the Yozi, just because you can keep making new custom charms at essence 1 to 5.

Also this >>48815593 and this >>48815663

>>48815644
Yes.

>>48815653
There's no real point though. There's literally only two examples of charms at 6-7, and they're both simple upgrades to lower essence Charms.

>>48815684
Devil-Tigers turn themselves into their own version of a Primordial, through Heretical charms. They can then develop Charms based on their own theme, instead of the Yozi.
>>
>>48815684
Well, they can turn into Primordials if they want to, they just don't have to. But my point is that you don't need high Essence charms to have high Essence power, because Infernal charms aren't built that way. They're designed to give you a low Essence version as an initiation to Primordial power, and then let you expand upon it as you grow without having to purchase new charms. From what the developers have said that was a mechanical decision to keep Infernals using mostly the same charms throughout so as to prevent them from having to rebuild Combos as they grew in power. Combos are kind of an XP sink for the other Exalted types, actually, they force you to rebuild them every time you get new charms if you want to stay relevant. The Ink Monkeys dev team actually tried to patch that for Solars with some of their errata.

No. The Primordials, and thus the Neverborn, have two problems.
1)There are no laws about them dying written into Creation. You have to realize Creation is like a giant computer simulation, with every tiny detail needed to be accounted for for things to work. SWLiHN was the one who handled most of this.
There was no "code" written for what happens if a Primordial dies, so Creation doesn't know how to fucking handle it. It is incapable of handling it.

2)Primordials are irrevocably tied to Creation itself. The end goal of the Neverborn IS to die, but them actually Dying for good will drag Creation itself into Oblivion with them.

Neverborn are Primordials who died. But Primordials are incapable of Dying, so they transformed into the Neverborn.

The Neverborn for the most part sleep and plot, but when they get going they are much worse than the Yozi, because they aren't bound in the same way the Yozi were.

If Autochithon dies for example, he becomes The Engine of Extinction, and all life ends. Everywhere.

That's not how that works. She created hierarchy, and embodies it, but it exists separate from her. The things the other dead Primordials made didn't vanish when they were killed.
>>
>>48816196
>>48816199
On that level? Only SWLiHN can at this point. Because she wrote most of the "code", and destroyed a MASSIVE chunk of it when she realized the Primordials were going to lose the war.

You'd need to find a way to let her get back on the "controls" of Creation, and then convince her to write in a way for Primordials to die safely.

There are the five Yozi you can have as your Caste Yozi. Which are Malfeas, the Demon City. Cecelyne, the Endless Desert. She Who Lives In Her Name, the Principle of Hierarchy. And the Ebon Dragon, the cause of everything bad.

Those five all have Charms written up to get, and Kimbery has those as well, but can only be Favored as there are only five Caste.

All of the others, you'd need to convince to allow them to open their Charms to you. Personal favorites are Isidoros, the Black Boar That Twists The Sky. Szoreny, the Silver Forest. And Oramus, the Dragon Beyond The World.

I was thinking more that deleting them from existence, but not back to the point of them creating Creation, would bypass the issue. The only other things I can think of is using Blessing of Strahvs to beat them into a permanent coma, Power of Dominance after having level grinded by eating a fuckton of x-th level Demons and other spirits, and maybe another super prison, inside of another prison.

I know that Panty and Stocking perk can cure outright spiritual mutilation, which would help the Yozi, but they were kind of shit before the War.

>Isn't there one Yozi/Neverborn who would end free will itself if he ever woke up, and everyone, including the other Yozi and Neverborn, wants to make sure he stays asleep?
Yep. Sacheverall, He Who Sees The Shape Of Things To Come. While he sleeps his vision is clouded by his dreams, and there is indeterminancy and possibility and change. Were he to awake, though, all reality would be bound by his perfect prediction of what shall be, the quantum wavefunction collapsed down to a single linear path. He's terrifying.

>>
>>48816285
SWLiHN is an abbreviation of She Who Lives in Her Name. You know, the Yozi you hate.

Honestly, I'm not sure why you're so against her. SWLiHN is actually kind of nice. Yes, she wants order, but she's willing to make it a fair order. One where everything is in its place, yes, but where the strong do not oppress the weak and there is possibility for growth and advancement unhindered by tyrants. The one you should hate is Cecylene. She was once the lawgiver of the Primordials, but since becoming a Yozi her only law is "obey those stronger than you". She is an abuser, who makes up laws at a whim so as to punish those who offend her, and who will excuse any crime she herself commits under the logic of "I am stronger than you, that means I get to do what I want". Based on what I know of you, that should offend you a hell of a lot more than just wanting order.
>>
>>48816313
That requires effort though.

And why should he when you're feeding him (You)'s anyway?
>>
>>48816322
Didn't SWLiHN actually offer her services and loyalty to the Unconquered Sun after he and his forces won the war? And then he told her to fuck off and she threw a temper tantrum and destroyed 90% of Creation.

>Primordials are irrevocably tied to Creation itself. The end goal of the Neverborn IS to die, but them actually Dying for good will drag Creation itself into Oblivion with them.
Creation existed before the Neverborn, and can exist after. It is that the Neverborn are attached to creation, like a ghost to its tether, and cannot find it in themselves to let go.

What would be useful in Exalted is the Dresden Files Outsider Perk Rule Breaker.
It can allow you to free others from mental components of their existence, even hard wired irrevocable ones.
So you could allow the Neverborn to no longer feel existential pain at their existence.

Or free Gods and Primordials from binding oaths. or make the Incarna no longer addicted ot the Games of Divinity.
>>
>>48816442
She didn't so much blow up 90% of the world, as much as she removed a massive number of Laws of Physics of Creation.

I like Revlids Infernal Monster Style expansions.

>>48816252
>You'd get a bunch of insane titans, free from the restrictions placed on the other Primordials, who want nothing more than to destroy all existence.
They only want to destroy Creation to end their suffering as Neverborn. If you can make them Primordials again, that becomes moot. And it never was all existence, just Creation, as it was a tether. Any damage this might hypothetically do to Malfeas or the Wyld is unknown and incidental.
>>
>>48816466
>doesn't the jump say that he is no longer Invincible?
The Unconquered Sun hasn't been invincible for a while, yeah. He's the god of Virtue, so his powers are tied to his Virtues, which are an actual mechanic in the game. But the Unconquered Sun is deeply depressed these days, and so suppresses most of his Virtues to avoid thinking about all the things that make him sad (not having infinite Compassion for all living beings makes it so much easier to cope with how shitty Creation has gotten). So as long as he suppresses Temperance so he can play the Games of Divinity, he can't use the invulnerability-granting power of his Aegis of Unconquered Might power. This is a setting where God needs rehab.
>>
>>48816594
>They only want to destroy Creation to end their suffering as Neverborn. If you can make them Primordials again, that becomes moot.
Well, maybe. But I don't think that making them Primordials again would get rid of their insanity. They wouldn't have a pressing need to end Creation anymore, but when you've been thinking "I hate the universe so much, why won't it just let me die?!" for the past ten thousand years, you're probably still going to hold a grudge.
>>
>>48816572
absolute freedom Includes freedom from Being pushed around by those stronger than you, Cecylene Is as Evil for creating a dangerous and unfair legal system as SWLiHN is for establishing the mechanics that allow said system To be established.
>>
>>48816321
>And she can't actually do that anymore
She is not the ebon dragon. That did not change about her.
Her name IS her 99,997 spheres. and she is the spheres, and the fire in the spheres. She literally lives inside herself.
>>
>>48816410
>Didn't SWLiHN actually offer her services and loyalty to the Unconquered Sun
Yes she was all about subordination. If there was a "start in Primordial War Era" and everything still went down, I would try to bargain with Sol to gain her services.
>>
>>48816666
Good to know, mega-Satan!
>>
>>48816567
The entire system is founded on special snowflake mary sue PCs with conceptual effects, most of which are basically nothing more than player masturbation.

The setting loves to throw around terms like 'perfect' or place an emphasis on scale or potency of effects where none actually exists in any meaningful capacity.

The example of wank that gets thrown around a lot is that at high levels you can fuck with the laws of physics; on a local level. Oh, and people also fail to talk about how that basically accomplices...nothing. It really doesn't do anything that the other charms don't already do.

It's a level of wank that is frankly intolerable. I could sit back and ignore it if the levels of wank didn't also end up effecting the jump making process, though of course it does.

People will insist that things which are shitty and weak should be banned because in their personal fantasy land they place so much emphases on the scale and the power of it, when in reality the things they're banning aren't shit.
>>
>>48816451
>There's no one person that can release them from their oaths, that's kind of the point.
Explicitly contradicted in text.
The Oaths specified Sol has the power to temporarily or permanently release any or all of the Yozi from their oaths.
>>
>>48816653
You should probably get rid of Malfeas, too. Back when he was Therion he was the ultimate authority (which you dislike already), but now that he's Malfeas he's the manifestation of tyranny. And the Ebon Dragon, he's the manifestation of backstabbing. Kimbery, too, one of her big things is being a toxic and overbearing mother. You'd get along great with Adorjan's limitless freedom themes, though, and if you could convince Oramus to open his charmset to you I think you'd have fun together. He's the Primordial of things that don't exist, has a lot of weird paradox themes but also embodies freedom. Hegra you might want to avoid just because her freedom is that of drugs opening your mind. Qaf is okay, he just wants to meditate and be left alone. Szoreny can vary, sometimes he's pro-freedom and sometimes he's pro-tyranny, his mirror theme probably means it's just him imitating others. Metagaos is right out, that guy's just going to eat you, but Isidoros also loves freedom, albeit the sort of freedom that tramples over others if they're not careful with it, so maybe you won't like him. Rounding out the remaining canon Yozi, I think it's just Elloge (who is all about writing and literature, kind of a weird Yozi) who should be neutral to your ideas at best, and Sacheverell, who you should just let him stay asleep.

>>48816666
Yes, but her oaths do not allow her to fuck around with reality in Creation. She's stuck in Malfeas. So... She can't.

Not sure what you're talking about with the spheres? You mean she could smash another couple of them? Because I'm not disputing that, she very well could.

>Could you explain to someone who knows fuck all about exalted whats wrong with it?
It started out as an really good adventure setting, with some really good authors. But was published by White Wolf.
So it had writers try to make the setting progressively more and more Grim Dark, then Grim Derp, where they tried to make it so nothing you could do would unfuck the setting.
Add in some BadWrongFun if you tried, and a forum even more salty and spiteful than here.

So it is a good setting with a bad fan base.

Mardukth, The Mountain and the Beast Upon It. His thing was that he was so HUGE that the other Primordials created universes just so they'd be able to define a border between him and other things, because otherwise he'd subsume all existence into his own ill-defined being. He's so big that he has to keep asking "AM I MARDUKTH" (all caps, of course, because he's huge) because even he can't perceive his whole being and forgets what is and isn't a part of him.

Possibly. No one seems to know what happened to Zen-mu, the first universe, but it's missing somehow. Even the Primordials don't know, it just kind of...stopped being, one day. But the second universe, whose name I can't remember and am having trouble finding it in the books so please forgive me on that front, still exists. In ashes. One of the Primordials tried to use it as a vehicle by which to conquer Creation and take it from the others, so the Unconquered Sun blew it up. That was back in the days when the Primordials weren't quite so awful and the Sun still served them willingly, so they lifted his restrictions not to harm the Primordials enough to let him fight the rogue Primordial. Still, there might be something good still in there, if you can find it.

Except for Oramus, who doesn't have a known world-body, because he came beforehand and is kind of The Outside. As in he's Yog-Sogoth the Dragon.
He kind of doesn't give a flying fuck about the way things are inside for fairly obvious reasons,

His shit is kinda cool when you find the homebrew.

First Oramus Excellency

The Dragon Beyond the World is alien and unknowable. Existing beyond reality, he disregards natural order, adhering to older laws and enigmatic principles only he knows. He simultaneously defines and transcends all boundaries, he shatters expectations and ignores conventions, even as he seals away unknowable realities within his body. He defines all things by contrast with himself, and lives on the border of possibility, looking both into and out of existence. The Worm that Digs Through Time is older than existence, and possesses wisdom commensurate, an impossible genius that defies all odds and finds solutions none thought possible. The Sevenfold Peacock is an artist without parallel, expressing his inspiration in eye-watering images and tales that drive men mad. Though a being of Order, the Galleon Atop the Waves of Madness holds within his belly the Essence of the Wyld, and delights in the discovery of new and exciting anomalies, the tang of mystery and the texture of uniqueness. He is horror personified, his presence snapping minds and bringing nightmares unspeakable.
This Excellency may be used in any action which defies conventions, Oramus adores rebellion. It may also be used to enhance any action associated, however abstractly, with the number seven. It may not be used on any action in which the Infernal displays doubts, all who’ve spoken with the Infinite Doorway at Saigoth’s Dawn know of his desperate faith, and he hides all doubts in dark places. Finally, this Charm may be used to enhance prayer rolls, given that they are not directed at gods, Oramus shuns Creation’s corrupt deities.

Essence is the raw mystical stuff of existence, so it's basically mana. It goes into the same energy pool as all your other generic magic energy.

Dissonance makes you lose access to your Resonance for a few hours. If you don't take the related drawback, you'll never Fall or generate Discord. All Dissonance/Discord disappears when the drawback does, and from then on you only have to worry about temporarily losing your Resonance.

You can use Resonance/Songs/Attunements/Affinities/Distinctions/Whatever regardless of what form you're in.

>Great Curse
Ultimately, the Ebon Dragon.
Primordial's can learn another's Primordial's charms, if it can fit their themes somehow.
The Ebon Dragon, as one of the Primordials to understand death, invented a Death Curse.
And taught it to others.
Remember how he is all about betrayed?
It is implied the Dying Primordials using the curse he taught them is why their existence sucks as much as it does, and it is not creation that prevents them from dying, but their inability to forgive and lift the curse that prevents them from falling into oblivion.
(One of the Ebon Dragons charms exiles a victim to a place on emptiness to suffer eternally, unable to die)

When you lose your resonance, do you also lose access to Songs/Attunements/Affinities/etc.?

Also, what counts as "mortal" for the purposes of Mercurians' Dissonance? The same for "harm" -- is it just physical harm? I was considering Mercurian, but then I realized that non-immortal humans are the main enemies in a shit-ton of settings.
So out of the following, which would count as "mortal"? Cyborgs, Warhammer Eldar, sapient robots, killable "immortals" like tolkein-esque elves, vampires, nephilim, cambion, etc.

>>
>>48817406
No, only the Resonance is locked. Everything else is fine.

Harm essentially means violence. Don't go around punching people and you'll be fine.

Anything that's got a soul (or reasonably would have had a soul if it were from a setting with souls) but that isn't some kind of spirit counts as a mortal. So from your list, sapient robots, vampires (for demon possessing a human corpse style vampires and not humans with an undeath curse vampires), and maybe cambions (depending on what setting we're talking about) are safe to attack.
>>
>>48817439
Likely depends on the perk in particular. I don't think that null aura would change, due to them being related to one's soul or lack there of, but I don't really know. Haki on the other hand doesn't seem to give two shits about size in one piece regardless of who is using it or who they are using it against, even if your range didn't change with your size I don't see why you couldn't train up your range to be appropriate. I would expect Wasteland would grow with your size due to it being tied to things that could be quite large themselves.

Be a Fiend in Infernal Jumpchain.
Learn Nature Cutting Knife
Possibly Real Eater to modify Nature Cutting Knife to excise something other than charms, like the fact you are not a Raksha
Learn Gateway of [the Shinma that defines existence by not existing]

Cut way everything form the current jump that would prevent you form going through the gateway.

Yes. As long as you don't break any of his other rules.

>>48817255
Basically at Essence 5 most things are able to invoke the Concept of Perfection to create effects like an absolute attack or defense, which a Nasuverse mage can do as well with enough magic and time but Charms are faster in this case, as well as various things like killing anyone who has the label Mortal (Basically anyone who has no active access to Essence/Generic Mana 0751) and become junior Primordial (A Living Reality Marble).
That last option I believe is dangerous because to become a Devil-Tiger you usually have to eat your progenitor or something, I think the system was built in by the Ebon Dragon as a betrayal to himself and all other Primordials as it grants the only folk with the ability to kill him and his fellows access to custom charm-sets and abilities.
Infernals are really the highest tier, in my opinion, as they can create a mirror charm for anything the Solars have, which the Abyssials can also do, and become Devil-Tigers, which the Neverborn won't allow.

Sorry for the late reply.

I'm crippled by drawbacks, but the people in authority will just think I've gone crazy. As long as I do well in battle school, they shouldn't care. Terezi will have to convince people that she stowed away on a shuttle and is a supergenius who they need at battle school despite no one knowing who she is.

Then we can rely on her to be the greatest commander ever, because she can always see what the other team is going to do before they do it. That way, she can take Ender's place and kill all those fucking buggers (Obviously I know that there's still some out there, plotting against me, but this is a good blow to them.) Then we can parlay that into a high political position on Earth to get to the planet. Then we just have to survive the wars, all while making sure I only learn disinformation so the people reading my mind can't use it against us. Then I just have to keep an eye out for the bugger double agents I'm sure are infiltrating Earth and make sure I'm never in enough physical danger I have to pull out my superpowers.

If I fuck it up, I can't rely on the standard story about being aliens. I'll just have to come clean to being a jumper, start a Zerg hive cluster, and sign up as mercenaries with whoever will protect me from getting nuked.

And through it all, Terezi's going to be holding how much more effective she is over my head. Whatever, I'll get back at her in a jump where I'm not so crippled.

The +0 drawback is under the No powers one. I should and will move it, though. I thought that that'd be the only way to make it fair, but the more I think about it the more that I think it's a bad idea.

And I did add stuff- I finished the Face equipment bit, and added a 200 CP and 800 CP piece of equipment for heels.

As for backgrounds- Well, they're all wrestlers, so having a wrestler background seems a bit redundant. In the WWE, it seems to be more about the role you play, which is why I had drop-in/face/heel/manager, which are the primary roles in that business. But I will add perks like that to the undiscounted.

Don't know how many Essence 6+ charms they have for it to matter though.

>>48818305
And what's bad about that? With a few fixes, most of which already exist because the people in charge of the game tried to fix most of their mistakes, having stuff above essence 5 isn't bad at all. Hell, the only thing for Solars above Essence 5 that you couldn't replicate in other settings with other powers (If you had a few centuries, millenia like the Solars need for it) is maybe Shinmaic Calibration, which is already insanely hard at the level people say it's broken at and still not near full reality warping.

SWLIHN killed ninety percent of Creation and a ton of it's fundemtal phycics in one of her last sallies. Creation is still aprox the surface of the earth if I'm remebering right.

>Even if all that stuff wasn't mostly exaggeration and hyperbole.
To be exact the Primordials are a form of Unshaped Rakshaka who decided that Order and stuff was neat and went with it until they started to make places like Creation. Exaggeration is how they better themselves and Hyperbole is reality when they want it so. They did what they did in the past because they say so and no one else can counter that unless they were better at Reality Warping than them, and they tag teamed anyone who tried until they got tired of that and made the Gods to enforce the system they created while they invented a game that the God of Perfection finds addictive even though he has Perfect Integrity Charms and Perfect Resistances to addiction.

Solar Sorcery can and will tear down entire cities if you feed it.

Rain of Doom literally melts cities and poisons everything within its area being however large a circle you can make before dawn of the next day. With superspeed that is a ridicoulus spread

Sidereal Martial Arts can let you punch a guy into a duck, and his house too, or kill the entire planetary populations with obsidian shards of mirror.

Shinmaic stuff can let you do things like cast city destroying rain spell, except have it work over all of existence, including every other dimension and have it be permanent. Or just have gigantic beams of fire constantly attack all your enemies in existence forever.

Perfect abilities, in setting at least, are perfect. I believe one example of a 6+ essence perfect defense lets you knock away whatever your defending against. Whether you're defending against a rain of arrows, a falling mountain or two colliding planes of existence, you can perfectly block and then knock them far away from you. That said, I personally don't think these perfect stuff should be banned as we have plenty of perks that offer similar effects, though I do think that if offered, they wouldn't have fiat protection and so could theoretically be pierced or blocked by some beings.
>>
>>48818531
I have the opposite opinion actually. Perfects should be ruled to not actually be perfect, in Exalted or out, or banned wholesale, but the shinmaic stuff just looks like a kind of metamagic, so it can stay unbanned.
>>

>>
>>48818586
Don't. Inter jump balance for one thing, although you've still got a point, the jump maker doesn't give a fuck and insists on it and a number of other fiat caps.
>>
>>48818583
>>48818531
As I understand it, Perfect Defense's downside is that it drains more essence to use, and they're also limited by vulnerabilities regarding movement or attack types.

They're supposed to be powerful, but situational.

If you focus on that, they should be okay? I think?
>>
>>48818597
They're way more powerful than archmages though. Like, a level 20 dnd wizard could shit all over an archmage, and do it while sleeping.
>>
>>48818583
>A kind of metamagic
In the same vein that Beerus from Dragon Ball is just a kind of martial artist using ki like Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter. Yeah, they're the same type of thing, but one of them is busting universes and the other is not.

>>48818531
See I'm fine with this. Also a funny thing you can do to get around a Perfect is to either apply pressure constantly, which most Perfects don't deal too well with, or to lower the effect of the Perfect. A normal perfect in the Essence 5 range isn't able to hold for more than the instant or maybe every attack in a particular second at most, the Obsidan Shards Charm I mentioned above isn't even a Perfect but it would be more attractive than most Perfects because of its fire-and-forget nature. >it seems like our long term power in Exalted
>>48818357

It is not about raw power, it is about the variety of ways you can make a statement.

Sure, summoning Orabilis, the End of All Wisdom to smite your enemies will only get you level one city at a time, he does so by calling down rains of molten glass, but when he is done, there is a magical library in the center of the devastation, where people can go to read about you and how awesome you are, and the city you destroyed and how wicked it was, and just what it did that got it destroyed, and why everyone should stop doing that thing!

Orabalis will handle all that for you, no need to bother with paperwork or scribe a libraries worth of morality lessons and mystic revelations you want others to learn.

And that is just one thing you can do. Sure, you can scour entire planets of life with the force, but would really make anyone LEARN anything?

Permanency in D&D only applies to a very few effects. Only beings I'm aware of in D&D that can make anything permanent are gods with Alter Reality and even that has some limits.

It's not global. It's all of existence, including any dimension pockets or alternate worlds.

>>48818744
You don't understand. Having it effect Creation isn't the highest level of scale. Third level effects all of creation. Fourth effects all of creation and all connected realms. Fifth affects all of existence, even "existence—even those conceptual frontiers the Exalted have yet to discover or invent"

>How is that bait, anon? Urges are at least as much a part of Infernals as nearly any magic system's restrictions.
Urges are not part of the charm system, they are like a vampires bloodlust, or a werewolves lunacy.
They do not apply to jumpers, be case Jumpers are a quantum imposition of many different states of being. Even if a Jumper was a Vampire in one jump, they are a human that can look at a jugular without desiring to rip it out in many others.

So with two sets of instincts, the jumper can decide which one applies.

Paradox is something that is part of the magic system, and the spell you are casting within it.

Urges are not something that only apply when using a charm.

Magicka has a self proclaimed honey badger of ressurection. Free, spammable, instant, no death penalty. 12 hour limit until chain end. In combo with D&D for the longer dead, there isn't much they can't bring back. If it's beyond a D&D res, then you probably want a brain save state via cybernetics from before whatever incident happened...but the soul is not likely to reattach. You could probally grow a new soul with the same personality though. Kingdom Hearts for that.

So, confirmed, we need to ban any setting with powerlevels higher than city busting? Because that's the standard Exalted is setting in banning higher level charms, considering that isn't outrageous for that particular setting.

The only people pushing that it's super strong compared to other settings haven't presented anything but that steps into the range of 'stuff that actually needs to be capped'. The things being pushed for banning aren't so large in scale or scope compared to other stuff in jumpchain which isn't locked off.

Thanks to some interesting rolls all of the Riders were quickly taken down by the Badam Empire's combined forces, reinforced by some Travelers and the Incarnations. This was then revealed to be an elaborate plot from some of the Riders, who had managed to fake their own deaths and then infiltrate the Empire to sabotage their plans. After a big climactic showdown with the main forces everyone went their separate ways and I resolved never ever to let Decade use Final Form Ride on me again. Basically it was your standard Kamen Rider movie. Empire still kept going, but their leadership was shattered along with many of their top forces. Supersonic was troublesome as well, but after an initial engagement I was able to read up on their Memories and counter them alongside NEO Jazz. That weird jammer thing they had was annoying though, a lot of my Memories had been planted in Yggdrasil for ease of access. The Empire's gambit with reviving the Mad King I will save for a different story.

Reality is sound. Songs fueled by pure emotion can change reality. People built a great tower that reached space and could project this over parts of the entire planet. However, they fucked up, and accidentally cracked the core of the planet. When trying to fix it, some asshole half-dragon people caused part of the tower to exploded, which resonated with the core and shattered it. This is a problem because the planet is alive, its Wills are basically gods, and shattering the core drove them insane and caused their howls of pain and madness to dissolve the surface. The only areas that survived were the towers themselves, where the surviving humans live with the singing gynoids constructed to administer the towers.

If I take From Darkness and am a Lunar Blood, could I initiate Wild Bunch attacks in Sol Trance if I have it? A Wild Trance?

Wild Lenses would let one collect both Sol and Dark, depending on amount of light, while also giving the attacks Wild Bunch properties?

If a Solar Smith with capstone and a person with Lunar Blood and Hollow Battery work together, could they actually experiment and learn to make Wild Batteries more easily than alone, and with less mistakes?

Could Wild Batteries be used to power both Dark and Sol attacks, the energy transforming or we just have reservoirs of both in it and for Wild stuff they mix? Or just wank it?

Can we still somehow pod an immortal if we take Restless Dead and will of gala- wait. Are stasis pods also thrown around the world? Would they be empty? If with companions, would they be depowered?

Most Yozi Charms fundamentally change how you think because you're taking little bits of the Yozi's World Mind Logic into your own soul, at least that's how it was explained to me. Ebon Dragon's Witness to Darkness is an intro level charm that makes it literally harder to be honest with others, and it grows as your Essence does.

>>48819504
Yep, until you hit the Wyld, Creation is weird yo!

>>48819601
Not really but they hide alot of really neat stuff behind the mindrape.
There is low hanging fruit though, so you could just find a something like Mind-Hand Manipulation, which is beast.

The trick is to go Devil-Tiger and create a charm that perfectly counters the Yozi's.

Another WWE WIP. Put "Jumper visits Jumper in hospital" as a 100 CP perk, and added a new one for 200 CP. Put in a new piece of equipment for 400 CP for heels, added more undiscounted perks.

Feedback appreciated, as always.
>>
>>48819778
The hospital thing's still a bit odd. Maybe replace it with a neat catchphrase that everyone associates with you, and can be said a certain way to hype up the crowd and yourself?
>>
>>48819778
>No perk to Hulk Up
Anon, what are you even doing man?
>>
>>48819778
Any way you could make the John Cena perk into one that gives us an immense boost when we ride in to the rescue? Also, you still need some actual MOVE perks, especially a way to make or claim your own signature move, like Jake the Snake and the DDT.
>>
>>48819856
The Hulkster was from before 2010, so the Jumpmaker doesn't care.
>>
>>48819778
You need to change the name of Hated to X-Pac Heat.
>>
>>48819841
Maybe. I did, after all, base that on a meme and people are telling me to cut back on the memes. Still, I was putting catchphrases and such under "Stick this perk up their candy ass!", and it'd feel kinda weak to make the 100 CP perk for 2 origins basically the same.

>>48819862
>Any way you could make the John Cena perk into one that gives us an immense boost when we ride in to the rescue?

I was hoping to stick to the current depiction of that perk, but you gave me an idea for a thing I could replace the hospital one with.

>Also, you still need some actual MOVE perks, especially a way to make or claim your own signature move, like Jake the Snake and the DDT.

Cool, will do, and will probably combine that with >>48819856

>>48819892
Dude, nearly all of the heel perks are from the rock, with the exception of one from the undertaker. 2 of the Face equipment pieces are from Hulk hogan, and another is a reference to the Macho Man. HOW MANY MORE CALLBACKS MUST I MAKE FOR YOU TO BE SATISFIED?

>>48819915
I'll look at that.

Thanks all for your input. Means a lot to me.

Heavens, does Restless Dead but about the Immortals preparing is them being aware of our past powers and capabilities, as long as no one spies on us during jump they remain unaware of our own preparations?

Also, if I take pile driver then with bare minimum of what I want I end up at 2200 cp. 2400 if I want a lil bit more... 2800 if I want all I desire...

I trust that any otherwise supernatural tech from warehouse that we find scattered with Will of Galaxy still works, otherwise it would be useless to Immortals...

Can we, technically, reverse engineer Pile Drivers technologically the way they became solar satellite in Lunar Knights? Because goddamn
>>
In the KOTOR jump, the notes say:

"All companions and stasis pod followers automatically gain a connection to the Force if they accompany you to the Starwars universe, regardless of whether or not you took the companion origin perk"

But then the companion origin perk says:

"You can either grant up to 8 companions you gained from other universes an origin and a body for this world . . ."

Can I bring companions anyways? Or do I need to spend the cp for the companion perk? It sounds like I can just import companions, but they dont get to turn into aliens nor do they get any memories. Is that right?

Companions still revive every week if you took Will of the Galaxy?

Carmilla is also a good one, but she's spoken for by Sabata. In life she was just an innocent witch girl who people burned at the stake for her powers, and in undeath she devoted herself entirely to Sabata and his goals out of love.

Other than that there's not much. Durathor has two sisters, but they're bland compared to her, and don't have any positive motivations. There is also Hel herself, and she's got some big tits, but she's not likeable at all.

I think that's it for female Immortals, actually. I don't remember any in 3, though I could be wrong.

That's not my thought process. I'm trying to figure out how to make items from the whole of the WWE fit into the context of jumpchain. To do that, I've taken the best of all decades, and I've not shown favoritism.

Allow me to quantify it for you-

There are 48 perks and items in the current draft of the WWE jump I'm writing. Of them-

5 (10.4%) come from or directly reference the 80s.

10 (20.8%) come from or directly reference the 90s and the attitude era.

8 (16.7%) come from or directly reference the Modern era

25 (52.08%) do not come from or directly reference any era.

Need thoughts on a Night Angel perk:

Dead Man Walking (300 CP, Discount Wetboy)

Once per week, a stranger in a nice suit will approach you privately with a large sum of money, payment for a job. This job will be murder, the stranger will identify the target, the method of execution desired, and exactly how much money he is paying (this payment will be no less than the equivalent of 100,000 USD), and then vanish until the job is complete or the week has passed. Should you complete the mission, he will return, delivering the money into your hands. You can decline these jobs as often as you like, and the stranger will never get upset should you do so, and failing the mission on one or both fronts (the method of death or simply failing to kill the target at all) will simply mean no money for that week.

The Google Docs link still works and people can leave notes there overnight. I'll read through the threads I miss in the morning, just so I don't miss a suggestion.

Maybe allow Jumpers to channel small blasts of Divine Light? That seems more powerful than a 400 CP Perk though.

Here's what I've got for it:
The Iron Chafiye-400 CP: This Arabic headgear was once worn by the Iron sheik himself. While wearing it, you will be able to exploit political tensions between the US (home of the WWE) and the arabic regions to make even the most reasoned individuals into frothing berserkers against you, with nothing approaching strategy. Post-jump, it will automatically shapeshift into a form of headgear that denotes you as the worst enemy of whatever region you're in, that this effect may be maintained. It will also give buffs to your own stealth and reason as it saps them from your opponent.

>>48819207
>As a matter of principle
I do not think you are the jump maker of anything, so please do not try to imply you are.

And custom Essence 6+ charms are banned more because there are just not a lot of existing charms to compare then to when making new charms, and to avoid fights when someone pulls out custom high powered charms someone (like you) want to pick a fight about being over powered or something.

And charm design can be tricky.
So high essence charms like those are limited to existing ones published by WW or proven charm designers like TDO, Revelid,
