You got my hopes up, but why does forth have two?
We need a new fucking Titan legion!

Really OP? Don't you ever get tired of this "let's create a new 40k group by rolling on a chart lel XD" shit day after day after fucking day? I mean, it's not like these threads produce anything of worth. It'll be forgotten within a week, maybe a month at most.
>>48759606
It's just for fun, jeez. Go shitpost in an anime character art thread.
How do you balance a character who can literally read people's minds? I'm of the opinion that it just can't be done.
>>48759463
Just because he can read people's minds doesn't mean he can do jack shit about what they're going to do to him.
>>48759463
How deeply can he read? Surface thoughts? Intent? Emotional state? Memories? How close does he have to be? Does he need to be able to see them? Touch them? Are there materials that obstruct his ability to read minds?
Overload. A little visit to the local megacity should do it
What would happen to a person that doesn't have a moral compass in Silent Hill? Will it get trapped forever in it because it doesn't recognizes good and bad or it will pass unhindered because it doesn't believe in judgement, shame, justice ecc...
You probably wouldn't end up there in the first place.
>>48759174
No Moral Compass in what sense?
Like is he super autistic "unable to comprehend his actions" or something else?
>>48759204
Like morality is completely alien to it. It doesn't see things as "good or bad" but in another way.
What's in your roleplay bag these days? Still good old trusty books or have you upgraded to laptop and tablet? Do you perhaps have more extravagant setups or is it your wish to have them one day?
Mostly dice and books
Laptops only come in for when I don't have the physical book
6 cans of King Cobra.
Pointless and excessive, but kinda awesome. I backed these on KS, and while they're a completely unnecessary luxury product I adore the end result.
so how are you guys enjoying it so far?
>>48757835
You can't just ask earnestly and civil and expect a response, you have to start with "now that the dust has settled".
It's a very decent set despite the design and lore controversies, also getting plenty of non-flip mythics with the artmapping. Emerge is probably the coolest mechanic in the block.
>>48757835
It's alright. At the very least it's got me excited about brewing tribal again.
Meh
Sup, /tg/.
Are there any games where I can drive cars real good? Nobody else has too if they don't want, and driving cars real good doesn't have to be the focus, but I want to do it.
Pic semi related, you can drive cars good, but it's the whole point and not everyone likes that. Also, explosions.
Car Lesbians
>>48757682
I have that one too.
>>48757658
Apocalypse World has the Driver. Makes the party way more mobile, can do cool car stuff.
In my current game, I use encumbrance rules and make magic items impossible to purchase. The first quest had the PCs find a treasure chest brimming with platinum.
Their creativity is now not limited by gold, and the treasure chest is a matter of vital importance.
Has anyone else done similar things?
I haven't tried it yet, but I want to run an all-ghost game where the PCs are almost totally invulnerable to damage (at the cost of being able to influence the material plane ofc), and have to figure out how to execute their plans and reach goals despite barely being able to open a door.
Games like that where you totally turn the mechanics on their head are always great
>>48756412
>I use encumbrance rules and make magic items impossible to purchase
Ah, I see you read the pamphlet on "how not to be a shit-tier GM". Nice going.
>>48756737
/v/ plz leave
A recent thread on vidya had me wondering about the little things that separate Dramatic Twist from "Fuck You, GM" moments.
In this example, the main villain swapping bodies with an innocent, and convincing others to kill the "monster". Would this be a table-flipping moment when the truth's revealed?
>>48756310
If it's done with any skill at all, yes the players will flip the table over.
But whether it's a good table-flip or a bad one is going to be extremely contextual and require a high degree of the GM being able to read his players and tune the event to a fine point.
All it'll take is one player going "That's fuckin' cheap shock-trash" rather than being sad to spoil the whole thing.
So: statistically speaking, 99% "fuck you, GM," maybe 1% "WHYYY LILY WHYYYYY"
>>48756360
Thinking about it a bit more, all it would take to spoil a set-up like Witch's House is someone going "I cast Detect Evil/Alignment".
>>48756310
My group is pretty big on the "roleplaying" part so it probably would be less WHAT A TWIST and more a moment for characters to react.
Context is 100% of what makes something dramatic and awesome
Eh, figured I'd start this thread and expand on the list of /tg/ approved content. Post your suggestions to be put at the mercy of us fa/tg/uys.

God, what the fuck is wrong with those lists.
They're fucking useless. Outside of maybe ten titles that everyone already knows are good, these lists are filled with all sorts of garbage.
The approved Podcasts/Webcomics/Television in particular.
Shit, man. 1d4chan is really earning its reputation as being a bunch of faggots trying to speak for an entire board, and it's pages like these that are so bad that they need to be deleted rather than edited.
>>48756232
Seconding, pretty much most of this shit is useless.

>Shit, man. 1d4chan is really earning its reputation as being a bunch of faggots trying to speak for an entire board, and it's pages like these that are so bad that they need to be deleted rather than edited.
Yeah, it's almost like these days, people are more willing to bitch about 1d4chan on /tg/ than they are to make the effort to clean up the 1d4chan articles...
Hello, /tg/
I have to rush some prep for my game after being a lazy fuck, and I'm looking for art to make tokens out of. It's L5R so weaboo art is acceptable, but I'm actually looking for something specific.
There's an M:TG card out there, it's a black sorcery that brings creatures back from the graveyard. I'm not sure if it's back to the hand or to the field, and I'm actually certain it's a sorcery with a lot of reprints. I'm trying to find the art of it, because it features a ratfolk necromancer raising skeletons.
I'm almost certain the art is of Nighteyes the Desecrator, and the flavor text even had a quote by him, but for the life of me I cannot find it.
If any anons know the name of the card, or have the art, I would most appreciate it.
Barring that, let's share some eastern-themed art, especially samurai, foxes, and rats. I'll be posting what I have, though I think they're mostly Kamigawa magic cards.
Also, if anyone has any art of monstrous frogs, I would be most obliged.
Weebshit welcome, too. Not scared of the anime aesthetic in what is essentially a weeb game.
I have changed the rules somewhat from the original
RP is encouraged.
We start with five or more players.
Tell me if one of the rules isnt clearly written.

How can I make a One Punch Man RPG?
What game systems can I use so players can make their own super heroes and fight monsters in a One Punch Man-verse?
OPM spam is so two months ago.
>>48755236
I would think any of the superhero systems out there would work well, since it's not going to be a party full of Saitamas. It's pretty much just a light-hearted and silly superhero game.
>>48755248
Also, this.
there's a breadth of options so wide you'd be more likely to have never seen the sun in your life than to not have at least gotten some idea from your time doing TTRPGs.
OPM is a cool world and all but if you take saitama out it's literally just a regular M&M campaign, man. saitama's just a plot device.
