I'd say I'm a gamer, yes. Considering how the label is commonly used it aligns with my interests and how I enjoy spending my time and resources. It's by far from the only label I'd apply to myself, and isn't the dominant one, but it's a large enough part of my life that I'd consider it appropriate.

No? I love tabletop games, but in terms of what defines me I'm definitely a teacher before I'm a "gamer." I imagine that's the same for most people with actual jobs.

For an upcoming RT game, my friends all declined actually being the Rogue trader so I figured I'd give it a spin. I'm thinking of running a Valhallan sergeant who is plucked out of a trench and told he's the bastard son of a late rogue trader, and now owns the family's writ of trade as well as his fathers ship and crew. I don't know if this would actually work, but I thought giving a guardsman the power of a decently powerful rogue trader house would be pretty funny.

It's mostly a pipe dream. If you get in there and talk with other people in the industry, put in the work, and get lucky, you might be able to make some money as an indie publisher or get hired by some publisher or another and work for peanuts.

Yeah just release a lot of it. I know a guy that does nothing but release 99 cent d100 tables online, but he puts out so many of them every week that the passive income is in hundreds per month after doing it for a few years.

I think that would be pretty cool. Low tech combat (chains, tyre irons, glass bottles etc), silly gang costume gimics (pic related to what I would do), awesome blacksploitation radio host that could give quests/current events. Proper weapons being rare and thus highly sought. Political intrigue in terms of gang territory, alliances and wars to be had.
