Ask the scouts about good places to make camp or build fortifications.

Ask the scouts what they know about the bandit fort and other bandit forces whom we can absorb.

Ah also ask the scouts about ruins. If we get lucky we can just reclaim some of them for our use.

Ask them if they noticed any place rich in resources like mines and the like. Including things like cattle or horses.

If we got the info we need on the bandit lord then we prepare to take them out. Hopefully by ambushing or flanking their raiding parties when they are otherwise engaged. So as to weaken them for the big siege. Either way we gotta dispatch scouts to spy on their fort and make sure to have some runners that will alert us when they send out men. After all they gotta collect their dues and hit caravans...if we take them out. We decrease the foes we need to face later on should a siege occur.

we start going around to other villages and 'offer' our protection. If they agree we ask what problems they are dealing with and help them out. If not we attack. Simple. Thanks to encountering one village that complied and another that didn't our boys know what is expected of them.

Meanwhile send guys to the five different towns to buy equipment including spare siege parts, find slavers, and recruit. See if any useful slaves are available like sex slaves, carpenter, weaponsmith, and armorer for instance.

Keep on building shields with the remaining lumber we got, also make wooden practice weapons for training.

Also ask our guys for any skills they have and people they know who would be interested in joining us or would otherwise be helpful. I imagine the former gangsters turned bandits for instance would certainly have a good idea of the criminal element of their towns and familiar with urban fighting. The mercs meanwhile could be helpful for training our guys. If we have poachers or can find poaches we got ourselves some bowmen and guys who can help provide fresh meat.

You finally get back home, carried by Chrysoula... You must admit, tumbling a minotaur is rather hard work, and you head to bed with Elizabeth... Who's still gaining weight from her pregnancy. And there seems to be an adorable little minotaur doll... You hold onto it hugging as you get hugged by your wife...

It's actually kinda comfortable to sleep with it. Just uh... Only in private though.

You eventually wake back up... And you hear a knock at the door. You open it to see your chief servant.

"What?"

"Sir, there's a man here to see you."

"Who is it?"

"It's a Texan elf... His name is Sherman McColt. He's a mercenary looking for work."

"Hm..."

You are Captain SAMANTHA WELLINGS, a newly minted captain of the Centauri Accord!

Currently, you were resting in the ship's infirmary after having a bit of an... accident? Well, something happened to your armor which fried its systems. As a precaution, you were brought here for a checkup. Thankfully, there didn't appear to be anything wrong with you, but Natalia wanted you to stay the night regardless.

You awaken to find yourself completely alone. The dimmed lights indicated to you that it was late Sol time, where the ship was running a minimum capacity. You're actually not sure how long you were out.

Not to mention, you had no idea what was going on outside of this room. Maybe you need an update...

"We're not calling it death fucker nine thousand!" Cyra yells angrily as Moriarty laughs, holding his arms out looking around like he's expecting someone else to join him in laughing

"Why not?" He asks as I tilt my head, looking at the massive robotic knight I have made "it fits! LOOK AT THAT FUCKING THING!"

"Eve made it, she should get to name it" Rasputin groans, rubbing his cheeks

"Oh of course" Cyra says happily "I just want to make it clear that we're not calling it....that"

"Hey Sparks, I'll get you some sweets if you call it deathfucker nine thousand" Moriarty shouts across the floor room as Mimi sits on her haunches, grinning and breathing heavily,

"She isn't a kid" Rasputin grumbles angrily

"She's four!" Moriarty yells angrily

"WE'RE ALL FOUR, DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING!" Mimi Yells back, ripping me out of my thoughts of how I can properly control my new creation

"Jesus christ" Emi yelps "I think she just popped my ear drums, is she always this loud"

"Only when she's excited....so it depends really" I say flatly, as I cover my ears cautiously "also, we should really remember that we didn't make this thing to give it a cool name, we did it to fight black guard"

"Isn't it kind of over kill though Eve? I mean I'm all for that but" Emi says with a sneering grin "this just isn't fair"

"Soooo" Mimi asks "What's wrong with that? its their fault for messing with our family"

"Oh nothing at all" Emi laughs, making mimi grin happily

"Good" She chuckles "Hey Eve can I fight this sometime"

"She's a chimera, we can't just put her in a human age group. She, Ras and Mimi are entirely new things!" Cyra shouts sounding annoyed and a little mad "You realize that right"

"They're still four years old" Moriarty groans

"How many times do we have to explain this to you" Rasputin sighs "We're not"

"They're not kids" Cyra says happily

"Exactly" Rasputin says happily "We're more mature than you are at least"

"Well our minds might be" I say dully as I walk over to my Mecha, and turn it on "But our bodies aren't"

"To be fair he is an old man" Mimi says bluntly, making Moriarty laugh a laugh that echos through the workshop

"Yeah, you're all little brats to me, now back to" he begins to say, before Emi pops up in front of him.

"Even me?" She says in a weird tone of voice, as Cyra freaks out for some reason

"Yeah, you're like...late teens right?" He asks

"Twenty, also aren't we supposed to fight those black guard fucks, I mean this is fun but...don't want die because of it" She says meekly

"Oh we're not gonna die" Mimi says cheerfully, grabbing my hand and squeezing it tightly "We have a giant death machine!"

The Tinker's guild of the dwarven mountains wanted to get rid of some misfits in their ranks and sent them to start a branch in Roggar. Welcome to Mechanized Pilot Quest where you control Unit 77, quiet Combat Armour pilot. Voluntarily joining into Confederate Army, he was rolled into a program where doctors surgically implanted cybernetics that allow him to control Combat Armours with his mind.

In the last thread, your squadron of similar pilots made landfall to New Delaware to prevent rebel forces from gaining control and independence from the Confederacy. Unit 77 got in contact with Operator King, intel officer stationed in space. Thanks to her access to warship superior scanners many problems were solved. Joining forces with 5th Marine Battalion led by grizzled Major Strong, Unit 77 fought against the rebels twice with latter battle ending in capturing of Thomas McKean Space Port. With only one pocket of rebels remaining in the spaceport, all seems clear.

Current Quest theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XqHGfs3KPM (with lyrics it makes more sense)
Few bursts of gunfire still rang across the spaceport as remaining stragglers who didn’t want to surrender fought till death. These irregularities didn’t matter anymore as the battle was resolved, but with pocket of rebels in terminal nothing was clear. Taking your Gladius on stroll through the hangars you saw that the space lifter were mostly in one piece. The assault being quite swift, most of them survived without a scratch. It does take some time for the men to check the hangars and those few hardened aircraft shelters.

“Operator King, what is the situation in the terminal” You messaged her.

“There is apparently a platoon sized group of rebels fortified themselves into the cafeteria. Apparently they cannot get out and we cannot get in, at least without big casualties. And just call me King, never been a fan of formalities” She answered.

“King, please do not look into the monitor episode. These things are most likely classified for reason. Might get you in trouble.” You messaged her after awhile.

“I understand Seven, I am not going to snoop.”

The casual stroll to the terminal was soon over as you were waved over by a marine with message that Major Strong would like to talk to you. Letting the marine to guide you to the Major, you saw him talking to other men. Seeing you approach closer he waved you closer and talked.

“Unit 77. What I heard you had some good performance at the hangars, but the situation is not completely clear. Operator King most likely has informed you about the situation on the last pocket. I hope your Combat Armour can be the thing that swings the scales toward us.” Major Strong told you which you picked by the suits computer reading his lips. “Captain Templeton care to explain what we tried?”

“Yes Major. We have send requests for their surrender, but they haven’t agreed or haven’t just answered. They know that we are in a small stalemate, but they know that we can just storm them. If we do that it will be costly for us” Captain Templeton explained.

“You know what we are facing Unit 77. Do you or Operator King have any idea what we could try?”

What do you do, what do you suggest?
>My Combat Armour might tip the scales, by its presence.
>My Combat Armour might tip the scales, by its presence and through my speakers.
>If it goes to shooting, I can be very useful in it.
>Let the marines storm them.
>Write in.

What you know about the rebels is that they are mostly irregular forces augmented by local reservists and weekend warriors. They do not have the same discipline or training compared to Confederate Marines. They might be more loyal to their cause, but are not fanatics who fight till death. At least not everyone is that fanatic.

Tell them to surrender that they may yet get out of this with their lives. Else we will have to engage. And give them full view of our flame thrower.

You are the former United States Navy warship USS HOEL, now returned as a shipgirl and ready to kick Abyssal ass!

Currently, you were skirmishing with a small flotilla of Abyssals, in an effort to draw attention away from Saratoga and Hazelwood, who were busy trying to evacuate a freshly rescued shipgirl.

It was just you and one of your old nemeses, the Japanese cruiser Kumano, so you had to play this one carefully.

A few radar pulses tells you all you need. Three Abyssal destroyrs, two Ne-class cruisers, and one Ta-class battleship were incoming. A lot of firepower compared to your own two ship formation. Thankfully, there didn't seem to be any signs of air power. No doubt they were tied up by Saratoga's air wing.

"S-so how do we do handle this situation?" Kumano asks, her guns swiveling into attack position.

And my Twitter: @ContraImperator
And finally, here is the thread starter:

>Tell me, good sirs. How do you handle working with other people?
you ask. This is important, as this job can rarely be done alone.
>Well, I think I can work with people below me. And those above me. I should be pretty decent.
Friedrich tells you.
>I think I am doing good in this part. I always had other people around me when working.
Lucius says.
>I think I should be fine. I would rely on someone to know their stuff at first anyway, if you don't mind me being this honest. You know, not much experience and such...
Maurice closes this question.
>Well, how do you want to manage the province? What would you want to focus on?
you ask the men. They already have some plans. Friedrich wants to increase the efficiency of your people's work as they are 'slacking off way too much' as he is putting it. Lucius already has studied your economic and political style. Keeping the people motivated would not only make you popular with them, but also increase their efficiency. Focusing their low numbers on the most necessary things first would make your province stable first. After stability, growth can come. Maurice tells you about basic organization at food, material and trading good production. It's simple, but sure would avoid too much entanglement in useless things.

Do you have made a decision already?
>No, I would like to present them with a specific task first (what?)
>No, we should talk about this more. (With them? To an advisor?)
>Yes, we should hire (who?)
>How about we hire two of them? (This WILL cost extra coin. Having Lucius and another one of them would cost one and a half wage, having Friedrich and Maurice would cost two wages.)
>They all weren't very convincing. I think we should look for someone else.
>Something else (write in)

Race:

>Humans the deffinition of persistance. Although they may not be terribly strong, or fast, or smart, we simply do not die. They can outlast any opponent in a fight, and given they arent killed instantly, they will. they can survive losing most extremities, and heal exceptionally quickly.

>Mantids exceptionally lethal combatants, capable of anything given preparation. their senses arent extraordinary, however their reaction time is phenominal. they are, however, exceptionally fragile and arent up to the whole "going in blind" business.

Eons ago, Humanity was the only race. They had unimaginable magical powers, and had no problems, or worries. For whatever ass-brained reason, they decided to wage war between themselves. Using their magical powers, they created uncountable wondrous magical artifacts, hundreds of species of terrifying war-beasts, and dozens of non-Human races to serve a purpose in the great war. The great war went on for decades, and finally, one side almost won, the losers were butt-hurt about it and unleashed an arsenal of cataclysmic, world-ending weapons, destroying Human civilization, shattering and rearranging the continents, and ruining the natural state of things with bizarre weather patterns, and unnatural radiation poisoning much of the countryside.

Ten thousand or so years of evolution later, civilization has managed to rebuild somewhat. Things are at a dark-ages technology level, though ancient magical artifacts are rarely seen, and much of the world is still wallowing in barbarism. You are the leader of a fledgling civilization, and you shall lead it as you deem fit.

> Pick the civilization's Race. Only one for now. These are the 3 Major Races, there are dozens of Minor Races but these are the most populous and influential.

> Humans

> Stubborn bastards who can keep going on for days, and refuse to give up when any sane person would have. They are the Race other Races are compared to, and their attributes are completely average, though they have a knack for magical relics, and can reliably breed with almost all Races.

> Elves

> They are lithe, pointy-eared, and beautiful. They can live for up to 300 years, have twice the agility and intelligence of a Human, and have superhuman senses. They are weak, vulnerable to diseases, and reproduce at half the Human rate. Despite rumors, male Elves are perfectly capable of growing beards, and are not neccessarily girly.

> Redguard

> They are red-skinned, huge, (8 foot tall, 600 pounds on average, huge) muscular, and durable. They live for only 40 years, have thrice the strength and durability of a Human, and heal from wounds quicker. They are resistant to diseases, and reproduce at twice the Human rate, but only 1 in 5 Redguard is a female, which brings its own issues. They have half the intelligence and agility of Humans.

> Now, pick a Government Type. This is a Medieval Post-Apocalyptic world, there isn't much to choose from right now.

> Dictatorship: You're in charge, period. What you say goes, before you die, you'll have to pick someone to inherit your position.

> Monarchy: You're mostly in charge, but your relatives also have a lot of power, and sometimes don't listen to you. Your kids will be in charge when you're dead.

> Democracy: You're kinda in charge, but the people can vote you out of office every four years if they don't like you. The people choose who will be in charge when you're dead.

> What is your civilization named?

> Does your civilization focus on Military, Industry, Or Economy?

> What is one special resource your civilization has? (A species of animal, rich iron deposits, a court-wizard, etc.)

> Lastly, pick an Environment to live in.

> Plains, mostly just grass.

> Forest, mostly just trees.

> Mountains, mostly just rocks and hills.

> Desert, mostly just sand.

Another morning dawns, a light hue of light bringing the sky alive like a beautiful canvas of orange and pink, and the tribe begins to stir. Pulling on a thicker tunic than usual to steer away the sharp winds that the cold season is bringing in, you step from your humble shelter and look out over the tribe.

Your tribe.

You are the leader of a primitive tribe which finds its home on the bank of the Great River. Once a nomadic band, the families of the tribe recently settled for a more permanent way of life solely at your request.

This quest is a tribal society civ-management story, though there will be some roleplaying elements, too. Most of the gameplay will occur in Turns, each representative of a month, and broad strategic actions will need to be taken to steer the fate of the tribe.

Micro actions will be taken sometimes, too, when specific events call for you to take the role of your leading character and interact with members of the tribe and other world elements on a more intimate scale.

You are the first of you name and the first true leader of this tribe. Your ambitions are simple - to grow the tribe, helping it prosper and keeping it safe, while also preserving your name by starting a family to help guide the tribe in the future.

As leader of the this tribe you must make a few decisions - who you are and what you're good at. Let's start with the basics...

1. Who are you?
[Name], the [Man/Woman] leader of the [Your people/tribe name]

>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a twenty-two year old man named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.

Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I hope everyone has fun.

Continuing around the room, you spot Raga reducing an alien warrior to ashes with a single blast, one which she was clearly putting little to no energy into.

A powerful Saiyan as your opponent is cause enough for concern, but soon you spot something that makes your blood run cold.

Standing in one of the rings is a creature that looks very much like Freeza. In fact, he's nearly the spitting image of the galactic tyrant, save the fact that his head is shaped almost like a chestnut, and he is brown in places that were purple on Freeza.

He stands against a muscular, green-skinned alien with long black hair. When the official calls for the match to begin, the Freeza-like alien rushes forward, slamming his fist into the larger fighter's gut, and causing him to hunch over in pain.

The member of Freeza's race takes a step back, and the larger alien falls to the ground, unconscious.

"Winner, Kuriza!" the announcer calls.

The small alien smirks before turning and stepping out of the ring. You can sense tremendous power coming from him, and, if he's anything like Freeza, that may just be the tip of the iceberg.

>A. Go warn the others

>B. Go try talking to Kuriza

>C. Go try talking to Raga

>D. Wait for your next match
