This is a quest that takes place within the universe of Paper Mario, specifically the first two games, in a period of relative peace. You're not Mario, but if you play your cards right, you might end up as famous as the brothers. Collect the seven macguffins, hone your skills as the best at something, or just do sidequests all day - the choice is yours.

At the end of every update, I'll give you a few options to vote on, with a ten minute period to vote. Most times you can write in your own options, but I'll veto it if it won't work or if it's too outlandish. Rolls, when asked for, will be done on a d20. You have three chances to succeed, one roll per person. Rolls are made after the ten-minute voting period. Good luck and have fun!

You shout angrily at Tsukishima as you stab him for the twentieth time in a row.
The boy is tenacious you give him that.
Despite your best efforts he still hasn't succumbed to his wounds due to his use of fullbring.
Even after destroying most of his circulatory system he still hasn't bled out.

With every additional stab you get more and more furious until your gills are crimson red and your eyes are practically glowing.
''DIE! DIE DAMN YOU!''

You shank the boy an additional five times and you prepare for the sixth one when all of a sudden you feel someone holding your hand back.
Quickly you turn your head to see Harribel standing behind you.
''That's enough Dear...
He's already dead.''
She speaks in a heavy-hearted tone.

Your eye waver as you see tears swelling in the eyes of your wife.
However you find it difficult to let go of your anger and you explode with as much vitriol as you can.
"NO!
HE HASN'T SUFFERED ENOUGH!"

But before you could continue Harribel hugs you.
"Stop this, please!"
Her voice is shaking from holding back her tears.
"It's not worth sacrificing yourself for this!"

Tsukishimas sword falls out of your grasp and clatters on the ground as her words reach you.
Finally calmed down you return Tias affection and hug her tightly.
''I... I couldn't bear the thought of losing you.
Forgive me!''
You beg her with a sorrowful voice.

Harribel gets significantly less tense and she whispers in your ear.
"Don't worry. Everything will be fine."

In the background however you hear Tsukishimas gurgling as he tries to spit out the blood that welled up in his throat.
"H-how touching!
But I... I won't die here!
And when Ginjo comes back he'll-"

Tia looks up at him from behind your shoulder and gives him a pitying look.
"Your friend...
He already left..."

His eyes go wide in disbelief.
"L-LIES! YOU LIE!"

"No, he left you here right after he got sent flying.
I'm sorry to say this but he abandoned you..."

Tsukishima coughs a bit before crying out in pain.
"NO! GINJO!
GINJO, PLEASE! Don't leave me!
Gi-''

But as he was holding onto life by a single thread the thought of abandonment was enough to push Tsukishima over the edge.
Faced with the sad reality that his friend and mentor has left him to die he couldn't go on anymore and the spark of life slowly faded from his eyes.
He could feel the cold creeping up on him slowly, gently and without uttering a word he died in a pool of his own blood.

Mere moments afterwards you see chains erupting from the ground and wrapping around Tsukishimas body.
Though the chains do nothing to his body you feel them pulling his soul out of his corpse and into a large door held ajar by two humongous skeletons.

However as they bicker between themselves the ones that ee affected by Tsukishimas mind control fall to the ground one by one.
Each of the humans grab hold of their heads and groan in pain.
To your surprise Ms Kurosaki apparently also loses consciousness but before she'd collapse Dante quickly dashes in and grabs hold of her.
Tia gives him an odd look for that.

"Are you feeling ill Dante?
What's with the sudden sense of chivalry?"

The boy carefully places Masaki on the couch before giving his snarky reply.
"And I thought you guys were supposed to be the honorable ones.
We came in and wrecked their home so the least we can do is help out a bit."


Meanwhile Tatsuki groans and struggles to get up on her own.
"Ugh... my head.
It feels like someone dropped a road roller on it and then punched it repeatedly...
What ha-
Oh..."
Reality slowly sets in as she looks over the ruined house.
"Oh God! Oh no! Oh GOD!
It wasn't just a bad dream, was it?''
She nervously looks around before she finally finds you.
''Krieger I'm so sorry!
I-I didn't mean to..."

You manage to stand up and cut her off before she could finish.
"Calm down Arisawa. I'm not holding you responsible for all this.
And my name is still Kaizar..."

Dante raises an eyebrow at that.
"Really? You'll just forgive the girl who literally stabbed you in the back like that?"

"It's because she stabbed me that I can forgive her.
I got to experience that bastards brainwashing first hand.
I'm just glad that his powers died with him as otherwise we'd have been in trouble.''

He merely shrugs at that.
"Whatever..."
Then he turns around to look at the two kids that still haven't recovered fully from their migraines, he even gives a passing glance to the passed out Karin upstairs.
''So...
What are we gonna do about this?
Stay here and try to untangle this mess or go straight for the source and tidy up?"

You step forward and draw Basilisco.
"First I'll undo this mess."
With a quick resurreción you fix all the damage you did to the surrounding buildings and incinerate Tsukishimas body with a small and condensed cero.
Once done with all that you seal your sword and look at your friends.

You, Nathaniel Joseph, are fighting the Sin of Sloth Lyso. Within the first few moments of the fight, your goal was to move him away from the others. Yet, he has not moved an inch and somehow managed to place a curse of his sin apon your allies. All but Al, the Alpha Bandit. Than there was the face that you were under the curse as well, and your movements were sluggish to say the least. Didn't seem like a fight you would win if you didn't get Lyso to move around.

You'd run to Aerith after Lyso gave his reasons. He didn't seem to come over. He was holding place so you all couldn't get pass. You'd just ask aerith how much further you all needed to go to get out of range of Lyso's Aura. She'd sluggishly pulled a the box full of runes out and handed it to you along with the gloves. You should have left more thinking up to Aerith.

After the box was in your hands, you'd tell Al to start evacuating everyone. He'd stare at Lyso for a bit longer before walking back over to the near sleeping allies of yours. Aerith seemed to say something and the golems started helping Al with the task.

And it was than you'd ran back to Lyso and started fighting him to keep him distracted until your allies were out of sight. Lyso didn't seem quick enough to counter something he wouldn't see coming.

Last time your training trip went awry, you met a mutant sharkman with his mermaid girlfriend possible wife, and you discovered the horrors of bandit bitches. That required you to flee for your life from your old place of residence and hideout among a bunch of bandits where they would least expect you. You did so by taking a caravan founded by your employer to the bandit base. After that you took up a new class known as the Lost by a fellow Lost who provided you your very first lead on the organization whom stole your memories.

Which unfortunately involved stranding you in the middle of an unknown city and expected to make your way back to the base. Which you had no idea where it was located. Fun stuff got stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to go as everything woke up that went bump in the night. Ran into two bot forces trying to kill each other. Had terrible luck finding a hideout before finally resorting to a mostly empty building while hiding under a pile of undead rubble and bone. Which you accidentally animated along with a very angry spirit swarm during a moment of enlightenment regarding necromancy. Also luck lotta luck.

Finally the next day after getting yourself very very lost...you find yourself back at the right base. There you were handed a lead and the other Lost left in the attempt to become Found. There you encountered a hellish training trip due to be unaware of the day of the work referred to as 'hellday'. Which involved charging through very dangerous areas and running very far very fast. It certainly improved your combat capalility even if you ended up starving and collapsing into exhaustion. Only awaking the next day when you discovered you were under attack by lawbringers.

Also a potential future mission involving infiltration. During the attack you managed to make a difference even! Mostly by unleashing a certain spirit swarm on the sneaky soldiers who attempted to capture the ship you were on. That is where you find yourself now struggling to keep control of the spirit swarm during its bloodthirsty rampage.

The spirit swarm has since migrated over to other ships and after realizing their plan went to shit. The paramilitary attacks are withdrawing. Having underestimated how well equipped the bandits were and the fact they had a necromancer among them.

That is where you find yourself now fighting to keep the spirits under control as they attempted to continue its bloodthirsty rampage.

"Anna!"
A strange voice enters the town. It clearly sticks out as the angry yelling of someone who does not belong. It seems to grow in volume as it constantly calls a girl's name.

"Come on now! This isn't funny and aye aren't laughin'!"
People walking by quickly avert their eyes, and the guards seem to eye the man suspiciously.

The man opens the door to the hall, and steps inside.
"'Ey!" A voice rings out inside of the hall. All of the residents and guards turn their attention to him. "Aye'm lookin' fer a friend of mine. She's short, has long rabbit ears, and might be yer princess."

"Why do you need to see her?" One of the rabbit-eared guards turns to greet the man.
"Aye think she's spreadin' false rumors about me. Tryin' to get me arrested and such, ye know where she went?"

"And- who may be asking?" The guard takes a more relaxed stance.
"Albator, Jack Albator."
"Oh, I know that name! Ladies! Come quick! It's him!"

"Ladies?" He shifts from one foot to another. He seems almost intrigued.

"Yes, we heard all about you, Mr. Albator." A woman in what appears to be a black dress with an apron steps out from the kitchen. "Anna was not sparse with the details."

"Or our orders." Another woman wearing a set of armor stands up from one of the tables. "Though, I'm glad you decided to stop by! It saves us the trouble of hunting you ourselves."

The guard behind the man puts up her spear, and stands in front of the door.

The man mutters something under his breath, and puts his palm over his face.

"Ladies, ladies. I'm the hero, here. Aye admire yer moxie, but if ye don't want terrible things to happen to yer ears and tails, then I suggest backin' off and answerin' my question."

The ladies do, in fact, NOT stand down. In fact, one of the knights pulls a pretty big fencing sword from under the table she was sitting at.

Jack sighs, and pulls out a flask. Quickly, he takes a gulp from it.
"Kid." He sighs, "You can go on ahead. It might take me a minute to reason' with the ladies."

He doens't THINK she's mad at you, but then again, there are several of her armed subordinates slowly inching toward you with sharp instruments.

You are Dorje of Carancha. That's not really your surname, but your summoner told you to start using it. You're here in the frozen lands of Bruschetta to help find a kidnapped summoner and bring a criminal to justice. So far, one of those things have happened, and it didn't involve you or your help whatsoever.

Instead, you got to wander the snow-covered wastes with another hero named Yuuki who is also quite mad at the person standing next to you right now. She spent most of the time being extremely sour for being thrown off an airship by Jack.
Okay, maybe her sourness is a little justified.
At the same time, it was mentally tiring to you to walk for roughly an hour through the frozen snow, underdressed, and listening to someone rant for that entire time. The best part about it was when you found Yuuki's ranger friend and you got to take a break.

Afterwards, you caught up with Jack because you thought he may need some help (and maybe to get away from Yuuki for a while). He definitely needs help, but he doesn't seem to want it right now.

This is Boruto Quest, a quest set in the universe of Naruto. It is during the generation of Naruto's son after everyone has graduated from their Genin exam. I haven't kept up with the series beyond the end of the original one, so this one is intended to recapture the feel of that time of Naruto. I will not be incorporating the main show or the Boruto movie's plot into the quest, although some recognizable characters will be present. You play as a 12 year old Chunin named Takeshi. You have been assigned a Jounin squad leader named Hanto, and your two squadmates are Kichiro, a young delinquent, and Ai, a strange social outcast of a girl. You are of average skill in most aspects, although your sharp intelligence, and your jack of trades skill set have brought you far. You have just recently graduated to a Chunin after winning the final tournament. You've been regularly completing missions as a Chunin, and making progress in training.

Despite your dry lips and battered body, the soldier pill you've taken gives you the extra chakra you need to keep fighting. You go through the handsigns to remove the poison from Kayo's system. Now you have time to use water from your canteen as a medium to draw the poison, so the process is much smoother.

Kayo is resting flat on her back, as you draw the poison through the puncture wound left by a senbon. Her small dog Akahiko is nuzzled against her midsection. You've really got no idea if this dog can actually understand people, but you try to comfort it a little bit regardless. Or rather, maybe you're comforting yourself.

"Don't worry boy, she's fine. Just scratches..I've gotta get back to the others though. You're gonna stay here and look after her.."

You stand up once you're done, and splash some water against your face as you step through the crumbling doorway and out into the muddy street.

Down the road lies a seemingly insurmountable challenge. A resurrected Jounin, and several cultist warriors that are all immortal.

How do you intend to approach?

“Zoooooom! Zooooooom! Zoooooooooom!” Tellstar and Black Hawk continuously run around the hangar of your new Star Destroyer.

Or rather your dwarf Star Destroyer. It was a Gladiator-class Star Destroyer, one of the smaller variants. It was either a I or a II, you honestly couldn't care about whether it was a IV, it was a Gladiator. And... it's not a Star Destroyer no matter how much your superiors and your underlings or your Starship Girls insisted upon it being a Star Destroyer. For one thing, it's only half a kilometer along, it could only carry 24 real starfighters, it's turbolasers were lacking and the only real good thing going for it were its concussion missiles. And that's it. It really resembled a piece of a Star Destroyer more than an actual one.

“Admiral.” F4 rolls up to you as you stand in the hangar, watching your girls stretch and limber, readying themselves for arrival. “You are quite possibly the only person I have ever seen complain about receiving a Star Destroyer as a flagship.”

“It doesn't count!” you shout. “What, would you like it if I said you were going to be put in a new highly advanced hull then suddenly I decided to put you in a B1 droid hull?”

“Yes I would, for reasons that you should know, sir,” he says simply. You roll your eyes. Walked right into that one.

Prosecutor steps up to you, her things packed away in a large dufflebag on her back. “Are you really unsatisfied with your new Gladiator-class, sir?”

“Prosecutor-...” Oh. How do you put this without coming across as a spayed kath hound? “Uh. No. I'm not.” Brutal honesty, that's the way.

Well im going to suggest the same thing that multiple people have already been in favor for
Plan 1
>We don't have too much time to make a better scheme, and an angry mob is hard to reason with, but perhaps We can make them rather confused... We do have 38 fine dresses... One of the better and gentler orators among our number can walk 'into them' whilst singing prayers and songs, followed by 37 others in a rising crescendoof praise to the corpse emperor... We do know the lyrics taught to us from a young age, and though it might burn our hearts and our souls to sing such blasphemies.... It will confuse and perhaps calm the mob for further manipulation which Tzeentch understands and encourages in all of us... They were looking for fanatical tzeentchians after all, and we could always claim that 'They lied to try and get you to kill us all in anger brothers and sisters of the Imperial cult" And since we do have a soup kitchen we can claim the loyal imperial cult, and perhaps even trick them into giving us more money/support to start up more soup kitchens in the hive...
But that's only if it succeeds

Plan 2 (Backup plan)

Should the first plan fail, they might buy us enough time to assemble, equip weapons and set up defensive positions... We'll also know who is friend and who is foe based on the fine clothes and of course a little facial recognition.. then open fire with Las guns/flamers/slugs onto the rest of the crowd if they try to enter the cult's sewer base...

If all else fails, and we are driven back into the main/ most important chamber of sermons, Thoth should enter the fray. The mob will be drawn in far enough that even if we're down to half strength... He'll be more than enough to ensure there are no survivors of that mob... For once they get that far, none can return to tell of our secrets.

Last time you have started your first patrol at 11:00. You have paid a visit to the local Gargoyles, and picked up some rumors of the goings of the city. With the Witching Hour closing in, you’ve decided to take a look at the local cemetery, and make some rounds around the wealthier family tombs.

You are trekking among the small windowless granite buildings, the metal doors closed in the almost total darkness. The cold stillness of the air betrays no intruders other than you in the cemetery.

At once, one of the iron gates swing open, a shadowy figure bursts out and starts running for the cemetery’s exit.

You follow after the man. As he skips, he makes a loud and long whistle. A ghastly horse materializes behind him, already galloping. The figure jumps on it, as the animal runs by. The cemetery gates swings wide open by a gust of wind, the guard wrapping his cloak tighter around him.

The horseman doesn’t speed up considerably, just gallops trough the doorway while the sentry is covering his face from the howling wind. You swiftly chase after him, leaving the cursing sentry behind.

He speeds up a bit, and his hood bursts into flames! Revealing nothing but an empty space where his head should be, and flickering flames from his neck. After the weird display, he disappears from sight, turning left at a crossroad.
