i live my life a quarter mile at a time.
Trimmed my front fenders today on my Jeep. Trying to decide what to use for a new liner as stock ones won't work on it after a trim, any ideas? North Michigan winters makes this shit rust so fast.
>General Jeep Thread if any faggots here are into them

Rubberized undercoating after you use por15 to prep the surface.

12mpg sucks ass I gotta admit
Thin gauge sheetmetal and rivets.
Which would be the most "business" looking cars?
Mercedessssss
Black Audi or Mercedes sedeans.
Some form of large luxary sedan. Honestly I would have loved to have seen the Cadillac CT8 come out and be the CEO's choice of car, but I've already ranted about that one too many times before.
What sports car do you own? I personally own a Corolla S. The S stands for Sport by the way.
Camry SE. The SE stands for sport edition
>>15500079
Mitsubishi mirage. It's a mirage of a sports car.
>>15500079
Lancer Ralliart.
It's more of a souped up Lancer VRX with AWD and the Evo 4B11T, as opposed to an outright mini Evo.
Any anons have experience with custom paint jobs? I'm going to paint the bumper and trim to match my cars body. I do have a couple of questions.
>color match or factory paint code?
>rattle can or paint gun?
>what's a good clear coat?
I've done some painting on 4x4 but I want this to turn out nice. I've got a budget of 400 dollars. Can this be done?
>>15499966
yeah i painted my 2 axle harley back in 94
it gets easier the less axles you have
both bumpers?
>>15499966
If it can be done or not depends on your definition of "nice"
You can do a passable job with a rattle can if you have the patience, a decent location to do it, and a steady hand. I doubt you could get a decent paint gun/compressor for 400 dollars, but I could be wrong
ITT: Post your projects
been workin on my 2 axle harley for nearly 20 years

So if some reckless faggot crashes into me causing my airbags to deploy i then have to deal with a salvage title'd car with little to no value left because some fuckhead didn't pay attention?
>>15499642
Yes.
>>15499642
Unless the car is totaled. Than you can get them to replace it. Otherwise yeah, your shit out of luck.
>>15499642
that's why you pay for insurance you poor loser
Explain.

One is built for tracking, and only just "road legal" for reasons. Would be pretty funny to see someone daily a Radical, but if Vape'n'scrape stancefags manage it must be possible.
Lighter car (1000 pounds) will beat the track time of a heavier car that only has a 100 hp difference. Its simple physics really.

Found the butthurt V8 cuckold.
V6>V8
So, is Ecoboost the new LS meme? Can you even get crated Ecoboosts?
Yes, you can get Ecoboost crate engines just not the one in the GT.
>>15499608
It's supposedly going on sale later this year or next year as a crate engine.
>400 lbs
>600+ HP
>500+ LB FT of torque
V8s BTFO!!!
if the car loan bubble is about to burst, repossession numbers are going to shoot through the roof.
Is now a good time to get into the repo business?
Yes. Get a good sidearm btw. I recommend a Glock 19 but find something that suits you best.

S&W 500 is the only answer
Only if you want to be one of the most hated people in your town. Tow truck drivers are some really nasty people.

Go look up some charts or some shit, memelord.
If you were selling a car would you drive 3 hours 22 minutes over 227 miles to take the car to the people who want to buy it
>>15498953
Depends on how much profit im making.
>>15498953
No. If they want it so bad they can come and get it.
>>15498981
1000
>>15498984
god damn it
Which do you choose?
>>15498925
Elise
#sizematters
>>15498925
Exige. Do you want a car that has a girls name that you have to explain or do you want one that is the most badass name ever, with no questions asked

The superior non-faggoty American version
I have an 03 vw golf 2.0. About 4 months ago it started making a tick-a-tick-a-tick-a-tick-a sound. It starts out kinda slow but speeds up when I accelerate. After about 10 to15 minutes it stops usually. Sometimes it doesnt.
I assumed it was a problem with the spark plugs, because that's the only thing I could think of that could make a sound like that off the top of my head.
I opened the hood the see if I could tell where the sound was coming from, but checking under the hood didn't make things clearer.
I think it could be the plugs, because I thought I read somewhere that plugs fire two at a time, even if there's no fuel in the chamber.
Still, I was wondering if anyone here knew what it was (or likely is) right off. Any ideas?
is there any oil in it?
is there oil in the power steering?
is there any leaks of air or oil?
>>15498470
Oil in the motor yeah, no air/vacuum leaks. I haven't checked the power steering yet, but it doesn't steer or really even drive any worse than it did.
>>15498458
spark plugs dont fire two at a time retard. also plugs wouldnt do that. you have vallve tick. adjust your valves and go from there if it persists you need to get a new engine probably. i dont know why you even bought a volkswagen anyway. probably because you're dumb but you need to get rid of that pos asap and buy something japanese
Now that its been made, you think toyobaru will build other cars on this chassis?
I'd like a gt86 but it looks too much like it crashed through the early 2000s ricer scene
I just want something mature and reserved with squareish head lights
they could even give it four doors and pretend its luxury subcompact/compact or something
they're just going to keep making obnoxious body kits and then trash the chassis after this generation arent they
>>15498414
>I'd like a gt86 but it looks too much like it crashed through the early 2000s ricer scene
that's why you get the BRZ instead
>>15498422
but it still looks like that
>>15498447
it looks not as rice from the front end
