>Not having CarPlay in your car with Apple Music so you can ask Siri to play whatever the fuck you want on the go
Fucking plebs.
Why does /o/ never talk about new cars. My old man wants to buy me a car in the $20,000 range. What's the best deal I can get for the money. No, I can't talk him into buying me a used car. Am I doomed to drive a civic?
>>15487163
Yep. Civics Si is good, though.

I'm looking for a decent muscle car (gotta have me a nice V8) for $3 or under. I'm fresh out of high school and have no job, however I sold my truck and my Suburban and have a budget of $3k at most. What are your recommendations? I've seen a few classic Skylarks and whatnot in my pricerange, and 2 Chevelle's ('70 and '71) however, they were both 4 doors and I'd like something with more of an aftermarket.
Things I've considered:
>3rd Gen Camaros
>2nd Gen Firebirds
>2nd Gen Trans Am
>4th Gen Mustangs (preferrably '99-'04)
What am I missing, /o/?
>>15486805
Since I noticed it, and someone is gonna be a jew and point it out, I meant $3k or under
>>15486805
For that budget, focus on a vehicle in good condition, as opposed to model-desirability. A 3k base model is going to serve you better than a 3k Z28 or IROC.
Forget about anything that is not a Camaro.
3rd gens are way cool too.
>>15486875
Is there any issues specific to the 3rd gens that I should look out for? I noticed the sticky mentioned transmission issues, how common are they?
is this car gud

great posts, thanks.
Trying to get some of these for my car. Anyone one here have them? Are they worth it? It rains a lot here in Florida so they'll be useful in that part
Only thing is these are $200+, does any /o/ anon have an off brand version of lined floor mats?
>>15486366
i used to work at a mercedes dealership so i always took the rubber floor mats from lease returns and put them in my car. i have mercedes-benz floor mats in my honda lol
just look on amazon or check out walmart. fuck weather tech. over priced floor mats.
>>15486400
Fuck yes, found this brand called Husky Liners selling one that fits my car for $125. I'm pretty much retarded for not checking there first
You're lucky as hell to get those free mats
My parents bought new vehicles this year and they each copped a set.
Pretty damn good, it is worth it if you have a nice car, they blend in to the vehicle.
I am surprised I have not asked this here before. What is the car you enjoyed the most driving.
This could be anything. Be honest. If you like G-vans, your moms Pinto, or an Impreza. What car did you enjoy driving the most?
I had the pleasure of driving a BB512 yesterday. The driver had a medical issue and my partner and I (EMS) stopped at roadside to help. He didn't want it on a tow truck or flat bed. I could get fired for this, but I followed my buddy in the ambulance to the hospital. He begged us not to have a flat bed pick it up. Thankfully my partner can't drive stick, so I was all over it. That 12 in the back fuckin pushes you hard. Amazing. I want to buy one now. Just need to win the lottery first.
If it's FWD you're disqualified

'98 Firebird I was looking at earlier this week. I wanted to love it but there was just so much wrong.
>relatively high miles
>tranny wearing out
>interior beat to shit
>ac didn't work
Did catch a ride in a '06 GTO. I really want one now.
I want a car that is:
>Fun to drive
>Pre 1990s
>Something worth putting money into later for resale value
>Carburetor only
>Isn't a high end car, something I could pick up for sub $5000
The Craigslist I use is Maines craigslist. I'm mostly worried about rust due to the winter, but unless it's really bad I can work with it.
have you considered something like an 66-77 bronco?
they can be really nice fixed up
>>15486189
Boomer car.
>sub $5000
>good for resale
ehhhhh
240z, 260z, 280z seem to hold value pretty well but you'll but dealing with rust for real.
Ford Mavericks are pretty neat too.
I'd say find a Dodge dart, Plymouth Scamp, Plymouth Duster, or Valiant. They are pretty fun to drive and usually cheap.
I feel bad for you people who don't wake up to your dream car every day.
why even live
>>15486098
>dream car
>a 25 year old civic

I'm new to /o/ and I'm not quite sure if this is the place for it, but I recently got a 2000 Chevy S10 that has an absolutely abysmal paint job (pic unrelated) But I was considering beggining to save money to get it painted, and I was curious as to what the general going rate for paint jobs are, and how long i could expect the process to take. I will post pictures of the actual truck shortly, just dont have any on the comp is all.
>>15486063
Let me guess, the side suicide door is a diffrent color than the rest of the truck?
>>15486091
more like the bottom half is silver, and the upper half is a nasty yellow, I took a picture, but the file size was too large and then my phone died, so I'll transfer it later
Here we are.
Appreciation appreciation thread
Pic related sold new for $185,000
They are now selling for over $1,000,000 on the used car market.

What's the next investment opportunity lads? Its a shame no one cares about low tier Ferraris. Every post 1980 V8 Ferrari depreciates like a rock because there is no enthusiasts following for non-halo models and non-V12s.

Here's a question for the US n/o/rthbros.
Getting a job by the great lakes.
I drive a 2004 RSX Type S with Pilot Super Sports. Always lived in FL, never driven on snow. Getting ready to sell car due to mileage (150k).
What would be a good car for a snow noob like me?
Good reliability, good fun potential, 4 to 7 k $ range, and manual tran wouldn't hurt either.
WRX is too expensive for me atm, but an Outback or a Miata come to mind. Thoughts?
Any AWD with snow tires will be more than enough for winter driving, pick the one that suits you best.
>>15485418
How about winter chains? Isn't that a thing they use up north?
Just buy winter tires. Even cheapo ones will do the job.
Is burgundy the unspoken patrician exterior color
>>15485394
It's the honorary boomer color.
Ever notice what the most common color for 90s Oldsmobiles were?
My favorite part of this picture is all the rock chips in the side of the vehicle from those oversized gay ass stanced tires.
