Okay /o/ i want to know how nazi is country/state when it comes to:
Speeding
"agressive" driving
Bikers
Vigilantism
i would love, if you would state your country/state and mode of transport
Speeding: pretty good. 57kmh in 50kmh zone.
$14 fine.
QLD Aus is the worst
Everyone is terrible and bikies are literally banned if you ride in more than 3's your all going to jail m8 even if you dont know eachother
NSW is somewhat in the middle not as 'free' as tas nt wa or sa but not as bad as Vic or QLD
Victoria is fucked its like commifornia 2.0 speed traps, cops and bullshit everywhere its a literal nanny state
in illinois
speeding as long as you are 10 over and no more
aggressive driving? hard to define
bikers, its good but the highways are boring and straight. not many fun roads
Vigilantism, needs a clear definition like aggressive driving
What's the point in stretched tires?
I understand the underlying logic of stance and excessive chamber, but why do people stretch their tires?
It looks cool. Also makes it easier to drift?
>>15497030
Stretching the tires allows you to run wider wheels under the arches.
>>15497030
A little bit of stretching increases the sidewall stiffness and gives you a bit more grip. That's why F1 tires are stretched a bit.
how did people fit in old tvr's?

You couldn't even get the fucking VIN from that pile of trash.
What fucking retard does this, it's so clearly going to be used for stealing and re-registering another one it's impossible to get away with it.

thats the vin you slowpoke. will be seeing you in my rearview mirror 2 months tops

Nigger you need more than just the number on paper in order to do a VIN swap.
When are Nissan going to phase this shitty barge out and release a new GTR that is actually worth driving?
When gm finally wins, that means never
When people stop buying the current R35
And i doubt they give a fuck about what some commoner says.
>>15496513
>>15496530
Most GT-R R35 owners bought it because it is more practical than most mainstream sports cars.
And what do you mean by "actually worth driving"?
Do you think it has your common shit box handling? Have you driven one?
The new one's certainly better with the facelift. The pre-current-facelift was basically uncomfortable to drive and was focused mainly on dynamics. Nissan literally listened to their customers and made the 2017 facelift more comfortable to drive in like a GT car and made the car likeable in the interior section.
The car itself made a status of being bulbous and still roasts most cars and even more on the Nismo trim. It's a car you have to own atleast once in a lifetime. Yes, I'm a GT-R fanboy but more of a controlled type than most other annoying GT-R fans.
did you give your car a girls name? if so, what?
fuck off
Ball Sniffer
Wait... That's what I named my dog. I don't name my cars.

I want to, but I haven't thought of one yet and don't want to sound like a faggot by referring to it as that
What does /o/ think of the Mitsubishi FTO?
>>15496035

Better than Integra or Celica.
Still FWD
FTO a best.

>>15495519
I guess you can argue it's not really a direct copy, and is instead paying homage to the original muscles.
But it's still a car trying to be something by association.
Also Equus is a stupid name, sounds like something a Chinese manufacturer would do to get around mustang.
Also doesn't it cost 250,000 USD?
Like what the fuck, i can buy a dodge charger SRT hellcat for less than half the price. And it goes 200mph, while having more HORSES under the hood, while also doing 0-60 faster AND holding 3 more people, having more trunk space AND not being recognizable to normies as the fastest 4 door.
>>15495519
>Also doesn't it cost 250,000 USD?
Double that
>Also Equus is a stupid name, sounds like something a Chinese manufacturer would do to get around mustang.
Considering that Hyundai uses it as their name for their budget S-Class competitor

Help /o/, my gf really hates cars, she even says she has a phobia of driving. She also thinks people who are into cars are chads because there's a bunch of morons with Civics and Integeras in her town.
How do I convert her and get her to like cars?
>get gf drunk
>film her fucking gearshifter
>post on /o/
>?????
>profit
You can't change stupid. Dump the dumb bitch and keep looking.
>>15495253
Most girls either hate cars or a really ignorant about them.
Hey /o/ I read the sticky I'm a poorfag and can only have enough to speed around 3k for my first vehicle I'd rather it be something I can have for years and not a shitty beater can anyone make some recommendations on what they looked for in a first car?
I'm leaning towards a ford ranger because of practicality but a sedan isn't out of the question, really anything I'm willing to wrench on it but not make being in the garage a priority.
>>15495095
stay away from the 4.0 sohc, it's a mess, the 5 speed a/t's have problems and the m/t has an internal slave cylinder requiring you to remove the transmission to service the clutch hydraulics.
I'd look for any 2wd vehicle with a service history and preferably a recent timing belt service. chains are tough but will usually need replaced at the 150-200k mark which most cheap cars are at.
>>15495095
Civic, as long as it's a manual.
>>15495127
Thanks for the advice I was actually looking at a 4.0l on CL I figured it would've been fine, I thought all the ranger like most of the f150 of the era where belts rather than chains
>>15495146
Any particular year/config that's more desirable than most, all the civic in my area are either stanced or overpriced for not being molested? Which is the main reason why I've haven't seen anything worth even looking at.
I'm in the I35 San Antonio/Austin corridor
Will a good car drive perfectly straight if you don't touch the wheel? I'm not a car guy, my friend is. It all started as an argument, he said that webm related is a bug. While I think that cars are self-stabilizing to a degree, I don't believe they will drive perfectly straight and instead will start going off course ever so slightly sooner or later. He insists, but I cannot believe it. Can he possibly be right? Can I go to a runway, center my car perfectly on one end, and get to the other while still dead center without touching the wheel? IRL has so many physical stuff happening on every level that it just seems impossible.
If the wheels are perfectly aligned and balanced yes it will. Only other factor would be torque from the engine and if braking making sure all 4 brakes apply evenly.
>>15495038
No. If FWD you will get torque steering. If RDW or any road imperfections, air drag or whatever are likely to change where the wheels are pointed anyways.
Most cars are aligned to go to the right so you'll just go off the road or sideswipe someone if you have a stroke while driving
Do you consider that a feature of a "good" car?
