Hey /o/ I need a new car that will be comfy to fit in. I'm 6'3" and don't feel like driving a tiny car and being cramped.
Some Criteria I want but don't necessarily need:
>Comfy for commuting
>Good on Gas (30+ mpg)
>$10-20k range is what im going for but less is fine
>Not RWD, where I live it gets bad in the winter
>Hatchback a plus but a sedan is fine
>No SUV or Pickups
>Im cool with New/Used/Certified
>Not going to lease

Why can't the average person drive?

>be cruising down one of my favourite roads
>its about a 20 minute drive at my pace, winding country route with no turn offs, so once you're on, no one can get in front of you and ruin it
>only exception is a pub about half way down, it has parking
>getting pretty close to the end now
>come up behind a Micra
>guy has clearly been drinking
>swaying around the lane
>driving at like 15mph
>braking in straight lines for absolutely no reason
>coming to a complete crawl for corners
>decide fuck this idiot and call the police on him
>call non-emergency line, state what road they are on, their plate numbers, the cars make and model etc
>put phone down and be mad
>stay stuck behind this idiot for another 5 minutes
>huge queue of other cars behind me now, road is too narrow and has too many bends to overtake anywhere
>get to the end of the route at the junction
>they go in the lane to go left
>I pull up along side them to turn right
>as I look across I realise the driver is just an old woman and her husband
>realise I made a mistake but fuck them
>if they are going to drive like that I hope they get a anal cavity search when they finally get pulled over

So. I'm about to get my hands on a 1983 Firebird. My father has been telling himself he's going to fix it for years and years and years. I finally talked him into letting me buy it off him. It doesn't run but I'm pretty sure it has all original numbers on it and the body is straight. Kept in a beat up garage so probably not much rust on it.
What should i offer and how much is that kind of car worth with original numbers if i get it all running?
