Because back in the day, the Civic was actually a true compact car.

The cars progressively got bigger over the years. The 2016 civic is fucking huge. It's bigger than my mom's 08 accord.

The only reason to get an accord is if you want a V6.

Love everything about the car except for the boring as fuck light silver color. Had no other color choice at the time and thought it wouldn't be a big fucking deal, well fuck I can't get rid of this car fast enough. Wish I had waited or shop around more and gotten a black, white, or graphite. Seriously fuck silver cars.

Hey /o/ I currently drive a 10 year old Chevrolet Impala that is almost to 200k miles. All the paint is coming off and the transmission is dying. I saw a $9k G35 Coupe (2006) with about 130,000 miles and the specs seem pretty good on that. I am looking for something fun to commute in, not race or anything. I don't know anything about Nissan since my family has traditionally bought domestic (ie; American) cars. Infinity is the premium brand of Nissan, right?

Is the G35 good or is it cancer, /o/? Should I spend like $3k more for a G37 or is the G35 ok?

Thanks friends

Let's talk about the 300zx. Specifically the twin turbo model. I'm not an enormous car guy, but I do appreciate going fast and am mechanically inclined enough to be able to fix a lot of problems, barring engine surgery. Recently I saw something mentioning the 300zx and it immediately grabbed my attention and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Just the looks alone, I don't know much about the engine yet. The prices are attractive as well. Mainly I want to know more.
Does anyone have one? How reliable are they? Since their Japanese cars I'm assuming the can't the the most difficult thing to work on, am I wrong? How readily available are parts? Ease of modification? I'm eager to find out everything about the car.

I'm a mechanic who loves them and worked on many. Its the most tightly packed engine bay known to man but still worth buying. Put simply, you need to remove the engine to do any significant modification outside of running higher boost. Strong VG30dett engine, transmission and diff regardless of auto or manual. GT style performance that feels great on the road. If you can accept paying a mechanic with a hoist for the major work like turbo swaps then buy it.

Most are pretty happy with the boosted performance of the standard turbos with an intercooler, exhaust and air filter upgrade.

There is something special about the driving experience. The seating position is really nice and the dash wraps around you like a cockpit. If you test drive you will likely buy it regardless of your concerns.

This takes place in less than a second, and you don't even roll back. I do this every day because there is a stoplight at the top of a very steep hill in the valley. I stalled there ONCE when I was learning to drive 5 years ago, and have never done it since.

How come I always see guys (mostly with sportbikes) take off from a stop sign/red light and dangle their feet for a while before thy put them on the pegs? I'm not talking about drag racing, the people I see do this are going slow as fuck.

Are they beginners that are scared of stalling and want to be able to keep themselves from falling? Are they squids trying to emulate drag racers? What the hell is up with this? Please enlighten me.

Pic related. I could only find clips of melanin-enriched individuals doing it but I see plenty of white folks do it, too.
