Get a G98 (not K98) rifle or other WWI long gun.
The bolt action will stop gas from being ejected near you like a semi-auto, and the 1 1/4 meter length will put the muzzle far away from you.
Every box becomes their own independent group. All troops and equipment currently stationed in a given box are now loyal to that box and all boxes are at war with all the other boxes. Nuclear weapons are not included and the war will conclude after a decade of fighting.
Which square ends up the most well off?

I say Japan or Central Europe, jusy due to the economic development and sheer numbers of people available
The one that has the east coast of the US, except Florida. Fuck tons of shipyards, lots of naval bases and harbors, assloads of natural resources, an absurd manufacturing presence.
>>34139118
Box 11-5 is in a pretty good position. It's nearly all of Japan (including substantial US forces), the entirety of the Koreas and most of North East China, including Liaoning (and it looks like it may even include two of China's three main fleet bases), as well as some of the most significant parts of the Russian Far East, including Vladivostock. There's a TON of heavy industry in that whole region, plenty of military forces, and lots of surrounding regions with the resources those forces and industry need which are vulnerable to conquest.
Their biggest threat comes from the rest of China, but the north/south divide below Shanghai is going to keep the central China 10-5 box really busy. The 11-5 box should be able to dominate the seas, and protect themselves from a land advance.
Other boxes may have similar or greater military power, but I don't think their geographical positions are quite as favourable. The 3-5 and 4-5 North American boxes are going to be in a bloody war, as are the 6-5, 7-5 and 8-5 European boxes. The 9-4 Indian sub-continent box may have the next best geographical position, since none of its immediate neighbours are much threat to it, but it's going to lack the navel power of the 11-5 box.
The northern Australia/bunch of islands box is also on a surprisingly good position to just steamroll the rest of Australia and start marching northwards.
This is a great thread.

>Christensen said that the lack of diversity in the military may play a role in unequal justice for black troops. In 2016, about 78% of military officers were white, and 8% were black.

Why do people hate the .40 so much?
>It's a high pressure round.
No, it isn't. Look up the SAAMI and CIP specs. They're both loaded to approximately 35,000 PSI, the same pressure as the 9mm, yet you people never complain about the 9mm round's pressure.
>Not as big as a 45 ACP.
True, but .400 inches is not a small bullet by any means, and when comparing bullets of the same sectional density, the 40 has a slight edge over the 45 in speed.
>S&W stands for short and weak LOL!
It's shortER and weakER compared to the 10mm, but it's still not weak by any means. If you really feel that the extra 200 fps you get with the 10mm is necessary, then I won't blame you for using it instead, but the 40 can still kill a man about as easy as any other handgun round.
>>34279601
It isn't 10mm Auto because small hands and women.
>>34279614
You could say that about any cartridge.
>38 isn't 357 maximum
>45 Colt isn't 454 Casull

Et cetera.

People are range queens and don't actually use their tools for their intended purposes.
.40 is preferable for defending against wildlife according to park rangers and the like. Niche, but different tools for different jobs.
This looks solid as hell. That's such a nice move to go with the bushingless bull barrel. The silver and black looks really nice. I am interested.

you're right anon I really enjoy the flawless design of a slide mounted safety, what could go wrong?
I'm a Beretta fag and wouldn't call it best.
The default sights are terrible and non adjustable except for rough windage
The frame isnt steel and has a habit of premature wear on rails
Seems to have a particularly hard recoil. Not from power, just high axis causing excessive muzzle flip

Yet, for some reason your squishy, romper-wearing, latte-sipping ass thinks it's better to waddle down to the grocery store and pay $6.99/lb for estrogen-filled beef from an animal that spent its whole life ankle deep in shit, taking antibiotic baths. You could be leveraging your birthright to provide hundreds of pounds of quality, protein-rich meat for your family every single year, but instead you choose to live like a European pauper because you're too much of a pussy to truly connect with where your food comes from.

Is there any hope for this crippled bird? Delays, increasing costs and all russia has to show for it is a plane that would struggle against supposed previous generation aircraft like the Eurofighter and Super bug and would stand next to no chance against true 5th gen adversaries.
India is getting increasingly fed up with paying out the ass for a product that fails to deliver even the basic criteria of a 5th gen despite being advertised as such.
Given that Chinese is out of the question for India and that the US would never sell their latest to a country that has such close ties to the russians military complex, India has little choice but to hope for the PAK-FA to deliver, but for how long? It is clear that India is getting fed up with paying for vaporware, is there even a remote chance that russia could deliver something resembling a useful jet before India packs up and dooms the project?
>>34273085
A few will get produced, enough for a favorable treatment in a vidya someday. It will fuel armchair pilot arguments about matchups. Otherwise, it's a 4th gen footnote.
>>34273085
>against true 5th gen adversaries.
The only true 5th gen adversary is F-22 and there will never be a direct confrontation between US and Russian air-forces.
Lol at dumb russians, they actually have to test and finalize a complete piece of hardware instead of pouring 1,5 trillion into unfinished prototype of a fundamentally dysfunctional design that suffocates its pilots and self-combusts on the runway right in the middle of mass production. Lmao. It's almost like they actually need a working plane!

US Marine here, got a question for Army dogs here:
How is your basic training different from our boot camp?
I'm honestly curious. I see big differences in attitude and performance in the field, but I don't buy entirely into our "da Corps is da best fighting force ever" stuff.
Does the Army just not focus much on indoctrination and teamwork? Is it because most soldiers never will see combat?
>>34272717
That is a fantastically exploitable picture.
There are basically two different kinds of Army basic. Most people in combat arms do OSUT. One Station Unit Training takes you from filthy civilian to filthy infantry/MP/some other stuff. Generally all your DSs in OSUT are from the MOS they are training. There is also the expectation that your unit will continue training new Joes in their respective jobs.
Most soldiers have basic and then go to Advanced Individual Training. This may be at the same base and with many of their basic buddies, or it may not. This is where a new soldier either crystalizes into a military person at home in that context, or someone putting on the uniform and just doing the job. MOS schools differ, classes differ, so results can be all over. I did 68w training and it was nuts. PT every day, full kit movements all the time, STX lanes for everything, and then War Week at Camp Bullis. My supply guy had a whole different experience.
>>34272717
>Because they'll never see combat
Army used to do big boy tours the Marines couldn't hack like 15 months so don't put your foot in your mouth son. Indoctrination was heavy in 2005 when I went thru infantry OSUT, obviously our POG basics were a bit soft.
>>34272717
