What does rotor wash taste like?
The discharge from a cunt
>>34154448
Jet fuel is usually what the air tastes/smells like, plus dust
Not as good as prop wash
Post shit that would be handy to know during and post nuclear attack.

Question, /k/.
On tanks, or any track-laying vehicle at all for that matter, the location of the sprocket and the idler wheel varies from vehicle to vehicle. What are the considerations that go into the decision to place them. In other words, effectively, what's the difference between a vehicle that's "Front wheel drive" versus one that's "Rear wheel drive"?
idk much about tank design but probably engine placement
most modern tanks have engines in rear cause the front has the best sightlines and they don't need a door in the back like APCs
pre ww2 it was all over the place
ww2 it got pretty standard
>>34154028
Generally, it's a matter of weight and space distribution in the vehicle, plus tactical and operating considerations.
Engines are large and moderately dense.
Transmissions are smaller and extremely dense.
Steel armor isn't very large, but it is VERY dense, and due to tactical considerations it's concentrated forward.
On lightly armored vehicles, concentrating the engine and transmission in one end of the vehicle can lead to a poorly balanced design, and so they may be split.
On heavily armored vehicles, having the drive at the rear means that very heavy armor can be concentrated on the front ehile maintaining a balanced design.
In older (ww2) designs, the transmission may be near the driver to ease operation thanks to not having to work through a series of linkages.
In vehicles where a rear exit is needed, the drive is usually forward (with the notable exception of the BMP-3 and Achzarit).
While much can be said about the relative merits of front vs rear sprockets, that's mainly a secondary consideration to the ones listed.
Front drive is better in theory, slightly, but it's not worth sending a drive shaft from a rear engine.
So I got this Inert 25mm shell for a few bucks, and it's filthy. It's got rust around the core, some awful green-black stuff on the driving band and I don't even know what on the case. I know fine-ought steel wool works wonders, but I want to both limit effort and damage to the brass and copper. Fellow /k/ommandos, how do?
Also, that's a middle school art project I've kept, in the background. I may have autism.

What gun is this? It was in London yesterday.
I know British police use G36c's but I've never seen a stock like that on one, looks like an MP5 stock. Some sort of HK416 or SIG516?

Hey /k/.
Thinking of leaving my "home" to join the canadian military.
Dad is an alchoholic and abusive and has fought me a couple times, tired of dealing with him for the past 10 years.
Dont really have friends outside of 3 people who Ive known for a long ass time.
I play video games, watch shows and focus on school to distract myself.
I go shooting to blow off steam and socialize.
I started going to the gym 3 months ago, making good progress.
I have no aspirations other than "hey the military might be cool and probably better than here, right?".
I dont have bad grades, and could go to university but I dont want to.
Currently drunk innawoods at midnight with a data connection, wondering what the fuck Im going to do with my life.
Not suicidal, just sad and lonely all the fucking time.I feel better when Im with others at the range but when I get home it all comes back.
I just want someone to tell me Ill be ok.
Military doesnt seem so bad,right?
>>34153747

It was most defi-fucking-nitely fired in anger more than once during its service.
I also have a first year production Steyr made Gewehr 1888 (they started in 1890, mine's an 1890)

I'd rather not be the first one sweeping a building when Ahmed decides to set off his IED, but thanks for the offer.
Whose balls are in a vice right now? Marines after that imgur bullshit?
Its usually Army or USMC who are getting their balls stomped, never at the same time.
Saluté, /k/. I'm a cucknadian who's interested in purchasing a rifle for fun, possibly hunting, and the (hopefully) upcoming race war.
Anyway, I understand the process of getting my PAL and whatnot, but I don't know what to expect when I go for my Canadian Firearm Safety Course, or where I should go to buy my first gun.
Can any anons fill me in on what the course is like? I know virtually nothing about firearms, or the specifics of Canadian gun laws. I'm also young and in an urban area. Can I expect everyone to be an old geezer taking the course just for work, or am I bound to meet some other autismo's to visit the gun range with?
I also want a bolt action rifle. Possibly a K98, or a Mosin Nagant. The local gun stores stock some SKS's from what I've seen on their website, but I'm not convinced that's what I want for my first rifle.
Any advice?
p-pls respond
