Is the AK action the most versatile on this Earth?
How is it?

Quick rundown.
>>34152729
I have one, it's meh.
Pro
>recoil is about as in-line as it gets without being an AR
>fits standard optics like an AR
>box magazines
>has chokes
>takedown/maintenance is pretty simple
Cons
>mags aren't drop free
>trigger could be better
>might need a bit of tinkering to get it to run
>doesn't like 3"
>stock irons are worse than airshit (just chuck a Holosun on it)
>kinda overpriced
Personally I see it more as a range toy than anything.
We all know someone who just can't stop bullshitting. Stories about people who fib out the butthole?
This one happened to me a few days ago.
>Be me
>Working in the warehouse with a co-worker. Chatting as we build items for our department store
>Got on the topic of guns
>Chat for a while about future purchases and our experiences at local shooting ranges
>he tells me he's about to buy a special edition Punisher 1911 with hair trigger, muzzle brake, and extended clip
>herewefuckinggo.jpg
>humor him as he goes on about scaring away would-be thieves with his 12 gauge
>nigger can't even tell me what brand or model it is when I ask
>Whatever
>Tell him about the 10/22 I just got
>immediately realize I have made a mistake as he tells me he "can't miss" with his .22
>Fuck it
>I ask him about it anyway
>Tells me he is better with iron sights than with a scope
>He took it shooting and shot a nickel at 200 yards
>On the first shot
>Silently scream bullshit
>butwaittheresmore!
>He lost the nickel when he hit it so he put up another nickel
>Hits it on his first shot again
>but he lost that one too
>This nigger cannot be serious right now
>so he puts a third nickel on a post at 200 yards
>"duct tapes the shit out of it"
>And hits it on his first shot
>For the third time in a row
>I have no words, I can only wonder how he finds this story believable
>Just offer a "wow" and change the subject back to work
Tell me about the fudds, the would-be-operators, the people whose Dad's work at Nintendo. People that you just know we're lying out there butt.

Every homosexual and transsexual that pretends to be proficient in firearms use, own firearms, or not have regular violent/emotionally unstable episodes as their abnormal neurology threatens to cave in on itself at any given moment.

So I just navigated the USCG Galveston phone tree to ask if the USCG patrol boat Manowar is named after the jellyfish or the metal band. Since I called at almost 11 at night, I didn't get an answer. Wiki and pic related:

Since I'm an idiot, I forgot to include a conversation topic instead of just blogging, so here's somethong to talk about: what's your favorite fast attack craft, and why?

>what's your favorite fast attack craft, and why?
The Ashville-class obviously.
Indonesian Dagger Class, no homo
>exocet MM38
>2 x LM2500 gas turbines
>41 knots top speed
Anyone have any experience with PCP air rifles? I can't have real guns because of reasons. I just want something to play around with at the range.
I've been eyeing a Crosman bulldog. It shoots a .357 round at 800fps. The whole setup would come in at a little under $1000 after the scuba tank and all the accessories are thrown in.

Are you a felon or an Aussie?
Though I repeat myself...
>>34152053
>that redundancy
Kek.
A felon, of the US federal variety. I got hit with a white collar crime at 19, didn't do any jail time, but my charge was just enough to revoke my gun rights. That was 8 years ago.
The ATF has a restoration process in place to apply to get your rights back, but Congress has explicitly banned them from using funding for the program in every budget for the last 25 years.
I've had a few powder guns, but it's not much fun to reload those, and the accuracy is horrible.
Ive heard both sides on other forums. Id assume the parts are hard core enough to deal with firing an empty chamber, but do any of you guys know why it might be bad?
I would assume so. I've done it with my pellet rifle before, and nothing happened. I'm no airgun expert though.

May I shoot you in the face with my "toy"?
We're almost reaching the 1 year anniversary of that momentous occasion.

He bought a Mossberg.
when reloading, how do you jacket a bullet?
>>34151684
You don't. You purchase a pack of pre-made projectiles.
You can cast your own bullets with lead and then if necessary coat them with a bake on material.
>>34151684
Usually after you put on their shoes. Layers are important in cold weather.
What prevents the AR weapons system from being upscaled for use on aircraft and naval deployments? It would easily be a more accurate and reliable system when upscaled to fire 20mm autocannon or 5 inch shells - the current 20mm cannon on the F-22 is literally an ancient system from the 1850s. Surely we could place a more modern weapons paradigm in?

Something something physics something something stress points something something heat distribution something something funding and efficiency.
>>34151258
Multi barrel is better for sustained fire.
Gas system of AR and single barrel of AR would give up long before the motor driven gatling gun types.
>>34151258
AR maxes out at ~1000 RPM. Aircraft nowadays need a lot more bullets in a very small window, which Gatlings are suited for.
How does a Europoor get his hands on a gun? Our countries are so fucked right now every white needs to carry.

Bitcoin and darkweb markets, if you don't have a contact IRL. Remember to use a tumbler to launder your money.
IIRC the going rate for a handgun (with loaded mag) is about 400 euros. 200 euros for a shitty armor vest.

Just surrender. Since the beginning of man people have always surrendered. You just will have to worship allah and have your porn pixelated.
Hey /k/, looking for a new CC pistol to replace my revolver. Was looking at a CZ P-01 Omega with the threaded barrel, pic related. Reason is I want threaded barrel out of the box and not have to purchase one separately. Was also looking at a Glock 19 but was having difficulty finding dealers selling them with threaded barrels. Budget is preferably <700$. What other options would you scholars recommend?
>>34151129
>carry
>tb
why?
>>34151369
Ah shit I forgot to mention. I'm also wanting to utilize it for home defense so I would like to have a suppressor for that.
>>34151129
>looking for a new CC pistol to replace my revolver.
>replacement is a steel framed fullsize with a threaded barrel and suppressor sights
Just in case this isn't bait, buy a regular ass 19 and a threaded barrel separately.
>I don't want to
Too bad. I'm trying to stop you from making a really, really bad decision.
hi /k/
i have made an ammo search site for canuckistany online ammo retails.
it updates prices daily in the hopes of showing the best deals in one place
https://ammobin.ca
feel free to take a look and shit all over it
That's actually pretty cool anon, I'd actually been hoping someone was going to make something like this for us Canucks.
Cheers
>>34150878
A better way to market your shit would be to get someone to send a "tip" to a canadian media outlet aboot how an unscrupulous individual has created a website designed to make ammunition easier to come by.
using yahoo pure as front end?
I like you,
best of luck canuck bro
So a lot of vets kill them selfs.
Assimilating into the civilian world.
What does /k think about vets doing jujitsu as therpy?
Free classes and gi for vets with PTSD or other injurys.
Vets already have access to therapy, the reasons for suicide are a lot more complicated than access to care.

if you had to go from spending 4 years living 24/7 with like-minded people and shooting guns and bonding and shit, to going out and having to live around normies and liberals all the time...
wouldn't you want to kill yourself?
>>34153058
cool imagination, about the entire block of active military being like minded
In MGS 3, snake says "in order not to run out of ammo in the middle of a fight, you need to get a "feel" of the number of shots you've fired"
what did he mean by this? how can you be able to count your shots in the middle of a stressy-as-fuck situation?
>>34150629
once u shoot a gun enough u just kinda know how many shots u have left without actively counting
>>34150694
this. it's kinda comparable to the muscle memory, or being able to estimate accurate time without checking the clock.
>>34150629
