What makes you say they are the equivalent to regiment? I'm trying to find solid proof that the vdv is actually an elite infantry unit, considering they have females among them i thought they would be more kin to something like the 82nd or 173rd airborne units.

pepper spray is more debilitating than a gas powered bb gun. though painful, a bb gun is just going to put a little bitty hole in someone and leave a tiiiiny piece of metal in them. Yeah it'll hurt, but it doesn't really stop anyone.

If you have no felonies or violent misdemeanors etc you'll be fine. Its somewhat common to be delayed if you have a very common name ie: "John Smith". I work part time at a large shop in Indiana and it happens pretty often. Currently we're seeing delays come back in 48+ hrs. They'll call you and you'll resign your form and be on your way. Don't sweat it, it's just inconvenient.

Air guns are pretty okay but they can end up being as expensive as a real gun, check your local laws to know what muzzle energy you can get for them to not require any paperwork.
Italy and Germany have 7.5J, France has 20 and UK have 14 if I recall correctly.
Other than that, there's obviously bows/crossbows and slingshots, I think those are unregulated everywhere.
Airsoft is shit and expensive, the only advantage is that looks like a real gun and you can play pretend to be a tacticool operator while your wife gets fucked by some refugee.
