What about the fits? Tolerance doesn't mean much if you've got gaping holes all around your gun.

Well did he ever test it in military conditions? I mean, give the gun to hundreds of sub-100 IQ grunts and send them off into the woods or desert for months and see if the guns still work reliably.

if it's even in a class anyways,
Google search gives me nothing so I figured you guys could probably help me out.
only reason I want to know is I love picking apart films and I'm currently wanting to see how many people break the "Class 4 or lower" rule in The Purge: Anarchy, so far I've seen a guy use a flamethrower (Class 5 I believe) and a minigun.
appreciate any help!
Cheers.

>>
What do you mean?

LEGALLY, a minigun be classified as a machine gun, the ATF has already ruled that any electrically driven rotary gun is a machine gun. If it uses projectiles with a diameter exceeding .5", then it would also be a destructive device. If your minigun has barrels under 16", it would be at least once instance of a short barrelled rifle, I guess. It would probably be ruled as six short barrelled rifles by the ATF, like how a shoestring is a machine gun in the proper configuration.

TECHNICALLY, it is a six-barreled, electrically driven rotary gun. It is designated "M134" by the US Army, and GAU-2/A or GAU-17/A by the USAF and the USN.

EFFECTIVELY, it is a bad ass weapon that lays down a devastating volume of fire that is unmatched in systems deployed in similar roles, size, and quantity.
>>
What the fuck?
>>
>>31926372
The Purge has no basis in reality.

firearms fall under title 1 or 2

title 2 firearms are NFA registry stuff

FFL dealers are TYPES 1 thru 11

the SOT stamp that they pay for is the CLASS

so to make AND sell a title 2 machine gun, which is what a minigun is, you need to be a type 7 FFL with a class 2 SOT stamp. If you just want to sell miniguns its a Class 3 SOT stamp.

the class refers to the SOT endorsement stamp on your FFL paperwork, NOT the weapon.

you arent a dealer of "class 3 weapons"

Why does everyone seem surprised when I explain to them how easy it is to be shot?

It's as if they never considered that putting someones life in danger by acts of aggression could get them killed.

Example: My sister was telling the story about how her boyfriend had an episode of road rage like it was something to be proud of. Her boyfriend had got out of his car at a stop sign, power walked over to the car behind him, then proceed to slam his hands down on the hood yelling at the driver to back the fuck off. He did this simply because the other vehicle was riding his bumper.

If you were the driver of that car you would have all the legal justification needed to engage the person with deadly force. Some may say it would be a 'bitch' or 'pussy' thing to do, but on a legal standpoint it would be justified on more than one count.

To be honest I'm most surprised at how people think doing something like that road rage incident is acceptable.

I just think the more people that know how much of a danger they are putting themselves in by doing something as stupid as that the better the country would be.

Hope you have a fantastic lawyer anon. The law is never cut and dry.

Shooting anyone even when it's deemed your life felt threatened will still tie you up for dozens of hours and thousands of dollars.

Is it worth shooting someone if it costs you $20,000 and months of your life in court time.
>>

Is road rage reason enough for brandishing to be legal?
>>
OP is both right and wrong

yes it's true that people take too many risks with instigating violence for no reason when it can turn deadly easily. but if that specific situation had turned deadly, no, it would not have been entirely legal for the shooter.

like, put it this way: Someone aggresses you > "if I were more a more impulsive man I could have shot him" > does not mean YOU - a stable individual - have to shoot him

I use a beretta xtrema2 with the hydrolic kickoff stock. Holy fuck I love this gun. It's probably the best xmas present I ever got. I was like 13 I think and starting to shoot skeet competitions so my parents wanted to get me into a gun that was better than my cheap "remington" spartan 310. I love that gun too but it's so nice to shoot that beretta. It fires 3 1/2" magnum loads for turkey hunting too.

What do you shoot OP?

Ok /k/ I need your help with a "hypothetical".
Lets hypothetically say I live in a hypothetical country where everyone was a cuck and keeping arms for self defense was not allowed.
Let´s say in this hypothetical country I was able to get a .22 handgun for target shooting but I hypothetically thought about home-defense and carry (in dangerous situations). What would be a good, hypothetical choice then?
I thought about pic related, a Walther P22. Is it reliable enough?

Btw this is all really just hypothetical, please don´t kick in my door Gestapo.

Btw I am aware that .22 is less than ideal for this purpose, but if you have nothing else, it sure as hell beats bear fists.
>>
My walther p22 has been great and never given me issues, even with cheap ammo. There are people on the internet who claim their slide cracked or their pistol is picky about cheap ammo. They'll probably be along shortly to tell you it's a terrible gun. This has not been my experience at all.

A revolver might be a good idea if the round didn't go off because you could pull the trigger again instead of re-racking the slide. If you could find a larger legal centerfire round that might be a better idea.

The ruger SR 22 is a better handgun, IMO. I've shot both.

Also, most fatal casualties by firearms were from a .22 in the US

.22 absolutely will kill and stop a threat. I

No shilling here, I'm suspicious.

The average chinese soldier has a shit rifle, no optics, no body armor and a kit that looks like it came out of the fucking 90s.

And then they have this jet that looks like it could go toe to toe with F-22s. There's too much of a disparity between them and it's weird as fuck.
>>
>>31925971
They have body armor.

For guard units.

You see.

Cat A units get best gen stuff.
Cat B gets less shit stuff.
Cat C gets ww2 left overs.

So on the off chance nukes came flying at us on the west coast, I mean lets say NK got some chinese nukes or something

Are we far along enough to shoot them down? Do we have defenses for ICBMS?

Thinking about buying an AR-15 chambered in 5.56 before Hillary gets elected and bans assault weapons / takes us to war with ourselves since there is an abundance of 5.56 ammo all over the place such as in military bases and it won't be hard to find during the apocalypse. Also M855 green tip "AP" rounds are an interesting little loophole I'd like to stock up on for such an event. Would get the AK if not for these two facts, so...

Thinking about the Colt LE6920 since Colt has manufactured AR-15's/M4's for the US Army for quite some time and that makes them sort of legit in my eyes. But I have a couple points I'd like to discuss with the knowledgeable and skilled population of 4chan:

> Is DI supreme?
> Is chrome lined barrel supreme?
> 1:7 twist supreme?

I have done some reading and I've found that the 1: 7 twist suits this caliber well, though reviews are quite mixed - science anyone? Also, I hear chrome lined is best for durability but negatively affects accuracy. Is this going to be a real problem for urban warfare? Also I hear DI is a little high-maitenance. I just need a weapon that's utilitarian - something that's easy to find rounds for and can take a little damage. Something at least 16" too...

tl;dr

Should I but a Colt LE6920? Why not? What do you recommend? Where am I? What is this place?

This is cheaper and isn't filled with a bunch of parts that you're going to toss as soon as it makes sense to. Direct impingement is fine as long as you keep it lubricated and can go indefinitely between cleaning if you do.

Chrome lined barrels are shit unless full auto matters. Nitride is more than enough for corrosion resistance and will last as long as chrome lined for semi auto use with more precision on average.

1:7 twist is good for 77 grain and similar. It might not be ideal for 55 grain but usually everything at that weight isn't that accurate to begin with.

DI is supreme. If you want piston get a gun designed around a piston.

Chrome line is important in areas where corrosion is likely. If your chamber gets pitted, your rifle's reliability will suffer. However, CL barrels vary in accuracy relative to other types of treating/untreated. Nitride/melonite seems to be the new in thing that accomplishes the same resistance while limiting corrosion

1:7 twist was chosen by the military to stabilize M856 tracers in artic conditions. 1 in 8 .223 wylde is supreme for more common civi bullets

also m855 is a shit round and not armor piercing at all. It's AP requirement is to penetrate a soviet helmet at 800 meters.

build your own AR. It is retarded monkeys capable easy and you will probably save money.
