What's /K/'s consensus for minimum amount of pistols, rifles, and shotguns to cover different roles?
You're going to have to define "roles"
If you mean killing people, one rifle per guy is easily enough.
If you mean hunting, CC, plinking, and HD, maybe 3 or 4.
If you mean fun, there's no such thing as enough.

Who was worse?
Both had completely different circumstances to deal with.
Stalin had to starve his population because they were under performers, resource sinks. This is a necessity when give a subpar population to rule over.

Worse... Or better?
>>31977786
Its /k/ so we are usually discussing their military leadership capabilities.
Hitler's was shit, he was a nice mouth piece but that was it. Great for motivating a populace fucked by an economic depression. Lousy at military decision making and doctrine creation/implementation.
I cannot legally carry a firearm and want to know some legal alternatives for self sefense

Pictured knife is actually pretty good for stabbing ghouls until they die from it, which might take a while. A sap or baton would be better for quickly incapacitating through blunt stopping power and breaking bones.
>>31977828
Forgot to mention impact weapons are prohibited from carry just about everywhere. The best melee weapons are going to be illegal.
You have been given $1 billion in tax dollars to design your own death squad.
How is it set up? What equipment does it have? How many members, teams? What areas do you send your teams?
Pic related is what I feel is a good template. Small operator team of about 20 for easy insertion, massive support team. small wing of rotary air support, and light armored vehicles. Limited law enforcement arrest capabilities, more emphasis on direct action, and at least one talented bureaucrat to interface with other bureaucrats. The lighter the footprint, the better.
Just hire some guys off the street, give them cheap .22 calibre pistols, point them towards an undesirable that may or may not have been implicated in drug use or drug sales, and pay them a somewhat decent amount for that day's work.
Cheap means your money lasts longer.
>buy $1 billion worth of AR-15s and ammo
>give one to every person who voted Trump
Done.
Based on what liberals have been saying the last 3 days every single woman, minority, gay, and non-christian should be dead in a week.

Wow very good at math I can see. 16 dollars for each person. You could probably give them all a hammer.
Anyone care to describe what it's like to get shot? Is it anything like in movies, where you may not really feel it at first, or is it immediately excruciating? Pls share bullet wound stories.
General accident/mishap and I guess self defense stories welcome too.
>>31977625
For certain instances I guess some people might not feel it because of adrenaline or shock.
I can say when you do feel it, it comes at you as a surprise "thump" and then the worst pain you've ever felt.
The trauma from how fast the bullet was going is what really makes it bad. All that energy was suddenly dropped into your body in less than a second. The puncture wound burns and throbs for a long time after, coupled with what's similar to having a really bad stab wound.
Of course depending where it was and who you are, you can bear it.
I was able to make it to the hospital without being totally catatonic. I was in incredible pain but still lucid.
Lol9mm is no joke.
>>31977687
That's nuts. Everyone I know that's been shot always describes it pretty similar.
I've only been stabbed in the arm by some white kid in school, I'd probably be pretty pissed off if I got shot.
>>31977625
My dad's old boss got shot in Normandy in 1944.
He said it was like someone swinging a sledgehammer into him, immediately winding him, and put him into a state of shock.
I suppose it depends what calibre you get hit with though, and what distance.
> Low price decent shotgun can be bought for $300
>Low price decent handguns all $300~500 range
I'm new to gun ownership, but why is this the case? Am I just looking in the wrong places? Wouldn't it make more sense that a smaller gun would cost less?
>>31977518
pump shotguns usually have a smoothbore barrel and they don't require as much fitting and precision work. You work the action manually.
also, the demand for shotguns is much higher than handguns

I'm heavily considering joining the Marine reserves while through my time in college. I would just really like the opportunity to improve my health while gaining some valuable knowledge and insight and hopefully offsetting the costs of day to day living in the meantime. Can anyone offer some insight as to what the compensation is like, and how much this will impede my ability to gain a higher education?

Get out.

I was an active duty Marine.
I think more highly of the men who pick up my trash than some garbage reservist.
Who cares.
>>31977055
How fitting, I think more highly of the waste collectors than muhreens myself.
I think it's just propaganda by the military to create new aircrafts.
Like if we take an F-15 and F-22, the physical differences are 10%, the same size and everything.
How can one of them be detected from 200km and the other from 40km by an aircraft radar.
I think it's just bullshit
F-22 has smaler RCS.

WHAT'S THE POINT OF CAMOUFLAGE, THE SOLDIERS ARE BASICALLY THE SAME SIZE, HOW CAN ONE BE SEEN FROM 200M AND THE OTHER FROM 40M BY EYES.
I THINK IT'S JUST BULLSHIT
How does /k/ like the Mini 14?
I'm looking into getting one as my first semi-auto since it fires the light and common .223 cartridge and it looks and feels like the surplus bolt actions I like and currently own.
I've heard the accuracy problems were sort of fixed with the 580 series. Are there any other issues I should know about?
I own one and it is my favorite
>>31976797
Is the choate handguard any good?
I hear the mini 14 gas system has overheating problems, so while I'd prefer the looks of the wood stock it looks like the choate one would be better for its health.
Also where do I get a brown one? All the ones I've seen are black.
>>31976832
How's the accuracy?
who else /carries small .380 and pretends to be secret agent/ here?
who here /doesntactuallythinkthelcp2isthatugly/?
who else /uses this and pretends to be from the future/?

When I pull charging handle back there isn't any sort of dry fire sensation. Is this normal? Its like the hammer isn't falling.

Thanks guys. Pic of her
It's hungry for kebab blood.
Shit sorry guys I'm retarded wasn't giving trigger solid pull. So dry fire is good to go. Cost was 1800 walk out price. Two drums and 2 100 round belts.
