.50AE is gonna dominate 5.7 any day of the week, so there's no real contest in that.

However, both are well within the minimum penetration to be useful calibers to kill, so while .50AE will always top 5.7, at the end of the day I'd rather use the FN gun because its a better all around gun.


You should carry a different gun though btw, like a Glock 19, a Sig P320, CZ 75, etc.

depends on what type of gun, what caliber, and what you're using it for.

If it's a range gun in a caliber larger that .22 it's probably worth it if you don't mind having to wipe a little extra carbon off the outside of your gun.
