Should I do it?

i dont know anything about guns but that looks neat

Save up a little more and get a PTR...ya know a purchase you can actually be proud of

>century arms
Last time i saw that rail for sale online it was almost $300 by itself. I own a CETME 308, they are good shooters. Every once in a while you may get a lemon, and /k/ likes the PTR more, but they are great budget semi auto .308s.

Alao, as far as I'm aware, Century only Imports those, and maybe assembles them. They don't build them in house.
>>31976308
>$525
Now that is a more reasonable price for a Century CETME. BTW OP, real CETME mags are actually quite cheap right now:

Go for it.

Why

Do it now, hard to go wrong when he includes an extra set of furniture, those also can take cetme and g3 mags which cost bout 3.50 each.
Only flaw is mounting a scope without a welded rail is a pain in the ass, claw mounts are custom fit to each rifle so buying one online you could get lucky or not.
Buy it anyway

What the hell is that and where can I get one
>>31976377
Yeah, get a PTR if you want a gun you can brag about.
Get the C308 if you want to save money, but have have people tell you that you should have bought a PTR
I've gotten to shoot both, they are about the same. Sights on the C308 suck so plan on getting an optic of some sort.

He's a /k/ommando
>>31976506
Just realized OPs pick isn't a C308. That's a different story...

West Chester PA?

>Century Arms version, obviously a civilian semi-only model
>Full power cartridge
>"""""Assault Rifle"""""
You know, with all these panic buyers, I would expect more panic selling.
Where's all the cheap funs at?
Meh. I'm starting to see C308s go for 700+ all over the pace now. IF, and I mean IF, you end up getting one that works, then that's not a bad price. But again, it's Century, so you've got probably a 40/60 split of getting a decent rifle or one that sucks. Most of the CETME parts they used to build the things were worn out armory cast offs, it's like getting a "new" car that's built from all the left over working bits from a bunch of busted up cars of the same model. Yea sure you might get one that works fine, but most have issues.
I wouldnt, but thats just me. Btw, fellow cincy bro here

That way they can tell you're not an ayylium.
