I am in the market to buy my first pistol and I am considering getting a glock 27. I want it for concealed carry and just general shooting. Do you gentlemen have any advice for a better pistol either for quality or price? If so do you see any reason why I should not buy one?

Remember that you shouldn't start below minimum recommended loads. Watch for and know signs of excessive pressure. Kabooming a gun can kill the shooter or bystanders, know what you're doing before you try it alone.

There's a ton more stuff you can get and do if you want to get into precision reloading. If MOA is good enough, the list above will suffice. And I'd recommend a chronograph. Don't worry about your exact velocity with any particular load, worry about consistency between shots. And remember to shoot the load that groups best with your gun, not the hottest load it'll handle. Your reloading bench is for better groups. It's not a penis extender.

I got a weird one that happened to me back in 98 or so

For a while it was still im service in a lot of countries, and some models even got a modern work up to be more valuable in battle. Plus a lot of countries understood that a damn good but obsolete tank was better than a shitty prototype or just no tank at all. It could keep up with a good amount of the early war tanks, especially with a good crew. I'd choose an ft-17 over a panzer 1 or 2 just about any day
