No, not really.
You can still get use out of it, but don't peel potatos or field dress animals. It's not that kind of knife. Don't sharpen the tip.
Use it to baton wood, cut cables, stick to end of AKM and charge for motherland, etc.
You're much better off buying a mora knife.
Actually, just do that.

I had one - not bad gun, but there were issues with the safety and trigger mechanism on mine. I swapped mine out for a Ruger LC9s, which for the size / weight / price, was a better option.

Anyways, OP, take your wife to one of the ranges that has gun rentals, and have her try out both the Bersa and the Ruger mentioned above, as well as any others in your price range. From there, determine which she feels most comfortable with, and more importantly, which seems to fit her hand size, shooting style, grip, etc the best, by how accurate she is with it.
Different strokes for different folks, different gunz for different... people?

Hey /k/ommandos finally turned 21 y/o and applied for my foid (Illinois Fag).
Income Tax season is around the corner and thinking of picking up the following guns if you could give me suggestions that would be appreciated as well.
Glock 43 ( Concealed Carry) - in-between the 43 / 26
HK P30L(s) (Full size Carry/ main)
Arsenal SAM7R (AR recommendations would be appreciated but leaning towards the AK)
Remmington 870 / Mossberg 590
Let me know what you think. I've shot a decent amount and not a complete rookie.

If you're gonna buy a P30L might as well buy a P30SK for carry too. Its my carry gun and really solid, but a Glock 26 is a good choice too.

Glocks have the interchangeable mags. the 43 is single stack so in case of emergency the 17 mag will fit in the 26.
MP Is cheap and gets the job done.

Okay I have a question, first of all, Catapults are obviously objectively superior to ski-jumps, you get more thrust and they allow you to take off with a higher combat load and so on.
But my question is, for ships without support for a catapult which will be carrying the F-35B (like the USS America here) doesn't it make sense to have a catapult since it's better than nothing. What is the justification for not having a ski-jump when other craft which will be carrying the F-35B do (like the HMS Queen Elizabeth)?

They both offer advantages and disadvantages. Really isn't as clear cut that people have the habit of making it appear to be. I'd write an essay on this, but I'm ill.
Tactical stuff aside like sortie rate and higher sea state thresholds, ramps can lighten your logistical burden by reducing crew requirements, lowering maintance and simplify flight ops, thus easier training.
