Anyone have any experience with these? Are they any good?

Pick one. Probably have a better chance to find a pair of altama brand jungle boots for cheap.
They're shit.
You can find factory second USGI boots for like $25 at Ollies or similar stores or used boots at Army-Navy stores for varying prices if you want cheap that's the way to go.
I've got about 40$ on amazon right now. What should I buy?

ok now that the holidays are over
what is your wish list for guns
what guns do you want? what kind of guns? why? what features are you looking for?
>>32505132
Well, I just bought the lower for my first AR. So, parts.
>>32505132
i know im looking for a good concealed carry gun
a larger pistol gun like the pistol ak or the scorpion or something
and im always looking for a parts kit or something for a LMG or HMG
>RDB
>KSG Tactical or KSG NR SBS
That's, uh. Pretty much it right now.
I should have more.
Are there, or have there ever been any *confirmed* /k/ommandos of the fairer sex?
Also,
>perfect posture for firing a pistol
Mugi?
Mugi, I am almost kind of very precisely uncertain is actually a girl without a dick.
Who cares?
Sup /k/ommandos, this is my first time visiting you and I wanna know what you guys think about lever action 30-30s.
I am considering getting something like a Marlin 336, Rossi rio grande or even buying an old 2nd hand winchester.
Purposes will be shooting everything bigger than a rabbit up to deer & young pigs, and defending a quarter acre property.
>>32504925
Get a lever action .308.
Fuck that weak .30-30 shit.
>>32504925
your question is like asking what do people think of revolvers. They work they do what they are supposed to. There are gucci ones and there are budget ones. They are good for fudd work but thats about it. You are not going to win a firefight but you could kill trespasser/burgular. 30-30 is accredited to have killed quite alot of game in the states. Its ballistically alot like 7.62x39.
They are fun guns and fudd guns. Good for the range and hunting.
30-30 ammo isn't really cheap. I'd do 357 or 44mag; out of a rifle length barrel those perform quite well. If you need more oomph, go with .45-70.
Is there any actual reason for revolvers to still exist when autoloading handguns are better in virtually every sense? I don't see matchlocks or flintlocks being sold anywhere, why are revolvers still a thing
>>32504848
> I don't see matchlocks or flintlocks being sold anywhere
Because you dumb son. They are still sold and bought, for the same reasons revolvers are.
>>32504848
Yes, revolvers can hold long cased rounds, and they also have superior single action triggers.
They make good backup guns, good hiking guns, and a lot of girls like them because they don't spit hot brass down their tits. I personally don't like them because of capacity and how fucking hot they get after a good range session, plus slower reloads.
Hey /k/ just bought myself a beretta cx4, when I rest my cheek on that rubber insert on the stock I heard this rattling inside like theres bits of little plastic rolling around. Is there a way to take off that rubber so I can shake them out?
>>32504839
And yes I did drop it
>>32504849
If you can't take it off or find out send it back. Dropping your gun isn't cool but...You didn't torture test it. Shit happens. They should be ashamed of themselves for having such a weak rifle
>>32504839
that's what you get for buying italian
would it be possible to put something like a gun's silencer on the exhaust ports of a fighter jet so that it's not as loud and doesn't get targeted as easily by heat seeking missiles?
basically i want to hover around my own f-35 without disturbing my neighbors.

if you can silence a pistol why can't you silence a fighter jet? they're mechanically the same thing except one flies.
Hey /K/
I have a 1927 nugget and the trigger is completely loose. I cleaned the cosmoline out and when I put the bolt back in, the trigger would no longer be able to depress so I can't get the bolt out again.
Pls assist. I don't think it's the trigger sear.
Bolt closed, trigger loose
If the bolt is pulled back all the way, trigger springs up to here and has tension.

Stick bolt in pooper; report results. Godspeed.
I currently have a p2000sk for winter carry and a p938 for summer carry. Should I round out my collection with a P30 or a HK45c?
Basically, stick with 9mm or diversify to have .45 acp as well.
>>32504234
>Help me /k/ I can't think for myself.
>>32504234
I don't see a reason to own a .45 these days unless you want to suppress.
>>32504234
If you want a .45 and diversity just get a 1911
So I want to become knowledgeable about military aircraft, specifically about attack aircraft and fighters starting after WW2.
What are some /k/ approved sources of information on the subject?
So far I have digged up the /k/ Planes series. (Can be found by searching "/k/ Planes Episode" in the archives).
>>32504233
oh neat that was me.
Just dig around for sources and binge read. Wikipedia's a good starting point, but it's by no means the end-all and often times can misrepresent details. It also depends on what exactly you're interested in. There's a lot more to it than just aircraft specifications to determining how good a plane is, and there's tons of "soft" factors that really heavily impact things. Understanding the science behind aircraft is also really helpful. You don't need to fully understand every single governing equation (I'm about to graduate with an aerospace engineering degree and I don't even fully understand all that), but knowing generally how things work and why things are the way they are really helps.
If you've got any specific questions, I can try to help. Are you looking for aircraft immediately after WW2? Or do you mean everything 1945 onwards?
>>32504509
I was refering to jet aircraft, actually, but prior planes provide background which I feel is important in order to understand early development of jet aircraft.
Do you happen to remember the subject of the first of your series? I can't seem to find it.

What is the point of semi-automatic rifles? My thought is that you may as well use a bolt action rifle or any automatic weapon for your needs.
Already a semi-auto doesn't stand up to the range, accuracy, reliability or ease of maintenance or a bolt action rifle, but consider this. If you're firing your semi-auto slowly, why not just use a bolt action which'll give you effectively the same rate of fire, and if you're firing your semi-auto any faster than you could fire a bolt action ever could, clearly accuracy isn't your issue, you're just trying to hit something and fast; why not just use an automatic weapon if this is the case?
I don't understand semi-autos, /k/. What is the point? What are your thoughts?
>>32504153
Get out, noguns
the range, accuracy, reliability or ease of maintenance of* a bolt action rifle, my bad.

Have you ever shot any guns?
I've watched Zulu recently and I have some questions:
>why didn't the Zulu use bows and arrows considering how much superior they were compared to single shot rifles when you have over 3k soldiers?
>why didn't the British have real melee weapons to fight against an enemy that only used short spears? Sure bayonets are fine and all, but a sword or a huge wall of spears would have wrecked the Zulus.
>Why didn't the Zulus just Zerg rush the British from ALL sides? If you can send a bunch of people to die just to count the guns, surely life is expendable in the Zulu army.
So any explanations for these questions?
>bayonets
>wall of spears
what is a Martini-Henry with a long-ass bayonet at the end of it?
Firstly
>ywn face a hostile spear, a new frontier
why even live?
Bows and arrows werent in the Zulu arsenal, dont think they ever were, a rifle with a bayonet is essentialy a spear, and if your the zulus you really wanna rush in tight clusters knowing you're being shot at
>>32504082
1. this is South Africa, they were about as advanced a Abo's
2. because they were trained to fight in european wars against other nations with guns, and were equipped as such
3. they did zerg rush from all sides in the last battle scene right after the singing battle
Imagine, a pissed off Muslim walks up to a serviceman with a machete in hand.
