Anybody, especially Australians here in the defense force, most specifically the army? Turning 25 this month and after a few years of depression kicking my ass I'm sick of my shit, uneventful, friendless life and I'm not sure I want to continue with the career I've been studying for. I have 6 months of very casual on-the-books study to do before I get my credentials but I feel my passion for it gradually fading.

I've been thinking hard about joining and I think I meet the most basic criteria in things like citizenship and fitness. I just wish to god I had signed up to that youth cadet program or whatever it was back in high school.

Don't go to shit cities.

Cities like Bangkok is basically the lower limit of where I'd travel to (that place is teeming with soldiers and police and some of them could speak good english).

I wouldn't travel to shithole like India or Philippines or some other south american countries (with exception to Chile and maybe argentina) and I would advice against doing so to others

Germans had a horrifically inefficient wartime industry. The least efficient of the major combatants outside of Japan and Italy. The wehrboos like to bone everything muh wehrmacht did but they were absolute shit at logistics.

Eh, no tank of World War Two was 'reliable'. It's just that t-34's were easy to fix ( a sign of quality in Russia) and why bother making it last six months, if statistically speaking, it'll be dead in 3?

Back to the point, copying it and producing it wouldn't have been that simple and you'd have ended up with a comparable tank in much smaller numbers.
Plus there's the stereotypical German engineering standpoint, they'd have been too proud.
