Just bring a live Linux USB or rescue disc and format her drive. Install windows again with avira+comodo firewall. If she doesn't care about certain software and/or games then you can just install ZorinOS or a similar Linux distro so she doesn't get malware again.
Once a system is infected there's no guarantee you can completely purge malware from it.

It's really not that simple, Android is different from standard GNU/Linux on pretty much every level minus the kernel. Best you are going to do is an emulator of the video game hardware variety.

This is the only operating system I will ever use. It has everything I'll ever need and can run on a computer with low RAM. It runs Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, a Blu Ray sized file of The Hateful 8 in VLC, & can browse the Internet for torrents just fine. Plus it has a cozy post modern design. I'll never forget buying it the first day it came out, shutting down my Windows 98 laptop for the last time, and turning on my new Compaq for the first time.
