First time posting here I'm really desperate and on my phone. I'm getting a CRITICAL_ SERVICE_ FAILURE that's causing a loop that keeps resetting. I shut it down last night because I had updated some drivers and was gonna take care of it when I got off work. I can't even get into safe mode. I spent about 2 hours beating the shut out of google, nothing. It boots up like normal then gets to a blue windows screen saying the critical failure error for like half a second and resets.
Accept the L and format.

What's a good wireless mouse I can carry around with my laptop?
Let me rephrase, are Bluetooth mice any good or should I stick with regular wireless?
>>57863446
Hey, you're not me!
>>57863406
I bought one of those cheap Logitech ones for a friend and it works so yeah get one of those
I guess that if your laptop has integrated bluetooth a bt mice would be better so you don't have to use a donger

I am in halfway long project (6000+lines) using Python/Django and I am cursing this shit all day,
I wish I used Go or Elixir

In the second one:

You didnt even define str. Or is str a standard object? I do not know python

So I've got a Logitech G502. Here's my complaints.
>Too narrow. Could be a bit wider for people that don't have manlet ladyboy hands
>Detent scrolling is fucking HORRIBLE!!!!!! The catch action is absolutely disgusting, and and embarrassment to Logitech engineering.
>Hyperwheel (friction free) scrolling is pretty good, though Logitech needs to either tighten the wheel a little bit, or include in their software a feature that prevents the scroll from bouncing up and down when stopping a scroll. That shit becomes seriously annoying after a while.
>The mouse buttons sometime stick, and lift up with your finger, then slam down making an annoying slamming noise.
Other than those complaints, it's not a bad mouse.

Are there actually any positives to updating Windows 7 to Windows 10?
>>57862944
Dx 12, better security, better compatibility if you use skylake/zen or newer, etc.
You get DX 12 which will never see relevant use for the next 8 years,
you get the same security as Windows 7 and you are better off surfing via VM or just using any other OS for security,
you get to give all your information and browsing history to Windows so they can proliferate it to over 40 other companies last i remember.
>>57862944
I find the performance for gaming systems to be better running Windows 10 but the fact that a few good games I still play do not run on any version of Windows 10 atleast at this stage makes me not want to install it. I am okay having win 7 ultimate x64
Little bastards on /g/ complaining about $1,300 macbooks being overpriced, or spending $1,500 on a decent gaming laptop. They have no idea what it was like.

Anyone else miss the fuck out of Windows classic theme?
This thing was the shit.
It tempts me to go back to 7 just for this, even though it started to look like ass by then.
I don't
Because I'm currently using it on my Windows 7 laptop
I want win7 to look like this
The classic theme found in XP and Server 2003 was the pinnacle of Windows UI design. With some adjustments it provided probably the most comfortable graphical UI of any OS.
Unfortunately the classic theme in Vista and 7 was already substantially inferior, and subsequently was removed from 8 and later.
Why do companies still put "WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED" stickers and tamper tape on their products if it is explicitly illegal to have it on in the first place under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act from 1975?
Why are governments not curbing most of this "authorized repair" proprietary bullshit that corporations are pushing without resistance?
