Every data structure and algorithm ever to be of note so far in the literature has already been implemented in most of the languages that matter.
There is pretty much no reason to program a sort, a search, a tree, a list, a heap, a stack, a queue or any other thing from scratch.
That's like saying you wanna make a cake from scratch to learn how it all works, but instead of going to the store to buy milk, you waste your time milking a cow instead.
Someone has already done it, and done it way better and more efficiently than you will ever do it. Time spent tearing hair out over CS assignments was wasted. For example, I have a $100k+ piece of paper that not only taught me how to implement a binary tree in Java (which is useless) but also taught me how to google for stackoverflow answers in about five seconds, which is all you'll be doing on the job anyway. Pajeet could do your job, not very well but he can be taught.

Opened my laptop keyboard to clean the residue left over from a milk spill. The connectors that hold the keyboard flex cables broke off. Kept trying to angle my fingers in this tiny space to push one of the flex cables back in, but I couldnt push it in because it just fucking folds. Now the end of the flex cable snapped.
