Need air blower
Don't want to pay the good goy tax on pic related and pay $100 to pick it up in person or support the Amazon botnet.
What do
You have lungs dipshit.
Or are you so fucking obese you can't even blow some light dust buildup away without getting exhausted?

Oh so you're a fucking disgusting slob living in filth then. Carry on.
>he pirates with torrents
>he pirates with flintlocks
>he pirates with streams
Also did anyone else notice the torrent/stream water metaphor before? Holy shit I just came
I steal my software in person from a retail store like a true man
So what gigantic dumbass decided multiple competing standards for a single cable type was a good fucking idea?
No wonder this shit didn't last long. Fuck DVI and I'd like to punch the asshole who did this.
>>58292362
DVI is much more comfy than HDMI and Display Port.
It was a group of many different corporations that decided on that shit.
And it's extra stupid because DVI-I (dual link) has pretty much the same features as DVI-I (single link) so there is no need to make two different standards other than aesthetics I guess...
And DVI-I could do both analog and digital so there is no need to make DVI-A (analog) and DVI-D (digital)... But I guess that is what happens when you mix some sort of democracy (or comitee) into the decision.
>>58292451
And yet the dvi adapter from a gtx 750ti doesn't work with the ports on a rx 470...someone should be beaten for this shit.
Severely beaten.
What's the best Text-to-speech (TTS) software I can buy for < $300?

Why did you lie to me ?????
>>58292319

Faster than what?
>AMD is the best bang for the buck
The RX 470 is the best bang for the buck.

LaserDisc was better than VHS right? So why didn't it catch on? Also how does it compare to Video CD?
>So why didn't it catch on?
HMMM i wonder... maybe the unwieldy size?
>>58292213
It's thinner than a VHS, you could easly stack them up like Vinyls
Laserdisks were expensive and Laserdisks players were even more expensive
You'll still find them in places that had no fucking idea how to manage their money, like failing businesses and schools
What was it like to use Opera before it became a Chrome clone?
>>58292040
It was the best. Still is, although it's showing its age.
>>58292040
The nostalgiafags will tell you otherwise but it was bloated garbage.
>>58292070
>I've never used Opera
Hi, /g/. Something I'm not entirely understanding of is why some long-time Windows users will buy a Mac but still Bootcamp Windows on it.
I can understand why a long-time Mac user might do this because of legacy use of software and maybe some of your productivity software you need for work or school might be Windows-only.
However, the converse seems somewhat silly to spend over $1,000 on a Mac or even $2,000 if you're just going to stick Windows on it again. I feel like you could shop around and for the same money buy a more practical and/or powerful computer.
What's the logic behind the converse? I apologize for a potential Windows vs. Mac thread, but I can never get a satisfactory answer from the people I know who do this firsthand.
>>58291914
What if you got the Mac for free and have no other computer ?
Currently in this situation
>Macbook book air 2014
>Quadboot
>XUbuntu
>Windows 10
>OS X
>Kali
I repair computers for people and got this bad boy in, but they never showed up to get it so I guess I'm keeping it
>>58292431
Probably stolen.
Also why not just run OS X? It's fantastic.
In my case I have a MacBook air and dualboot macos and windows just because I need to use solidworks and using it in a VM or via wine is useless
Solidworks is the most important one, but I use more software thatvisnt available for mac
What program did you write which you consider your greatest accomplishment?
>>58291884
A machine learning framework for the botnet my company was selling.
>>58291962
It doesn't count if you used existing libraries.
>>58291994
From scratch it was, libraries where shit or unable to scale back then. Just used Hadoop for parallelism.
What are you working on, /g/?

I'm just kinda curious if anyone's actually going to start hosting on another platform. Like .NET Core on linux/mac was make or break for their product meeting demand (like hosting on AWS vs. Azure)
I want to work from home. How fucked am I?
FUCKING STUPID PIECES OF SHIT. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Fuck. I hate those "funny programming pictures xD" so god damn much and this one makes me cringe really hard.
Programming is not fucking hard. Period. That's a fact.
Finding a good solution to a problem can be hard though.
I am so god damn glad that I picked CE over CS. We have a lot of retards too, but not as much as CS got
>>58291853
i did pure math, less retards there than CE + CS combined
>>58291853
To people with IQ inferior to 120 (meaning most people), I guess programming can be hard. Perhaps confusing is a better word.
>>58291853
Take a look at it from the perspective of the people saying it. Sure, it's not particularly hard unless you're doing something that's fairly impressive but for someone whose browser looks like pic related it's black magic.

1. Do you use the Internet?
2. Do you use a cell phone?
if either of these is yes, they are monitoring you
>>58291570
We don't monitor you.
Ups, they. I meant they.
>>58291570
