What are the things that someone well versed in Javascript should know? Like, what should I know how to make on my own, or using a bit of research?

it is ezpz to make things and you obviously need projects to show potential employers but if you're "well versed" that means you know best practices for working with other people.

this means a lot of things depending on the thing you are using javascript for. often times this has to do with using strongly typed techniques to reduce the burden of debugging.

also you are going to need to know enough about jquery, angular, react, webpack, cdns, apis, mean/lamp/jam stacks, js variant languages, etc so that you can make an informed decision about which one you need to use when.

I did a lot of research a few weeks ago.

TL;DR: it does not matter as long as you don't use the one's which are known to sell your data. (Gmail, Microsoft, etc).
>>
Their FaQ doesn't state anything about DKIM/SPF/DMARC/etc for your own domain, so it was a no-go for me.

I want to use a personal domain so I can easily move mail host later without having to change my email address everywhere.

"he could appoint commissioners who will keep the net neutrality rules on the books, but not enforce them. Then if MSNBC were to offend him he could launch an investigation into its parent company, Comcast, over net neutrality. If the administration approved the AT&T/Time-Warner deal, it would have a similar bludgeon to use against CNN"

Fuck it just dismantle the FCC. Using net neutrality to silence the media is 10x more terrifying than slow lanes.

What makes you think the government wouldn't pressure the media after Net Neutrality is done with?
>>
>silencing the media with net neutrality
There's no media to silence. It's all bought.

/pol/tards will argue that the loss of net neutrality is a good thing

I'm applying to Virginia Tech later today and still haven't decided upon a major to pursue...I think I have narrowed it down to either business information technology or computer science. Which would you choose and why?

So would it look worse than comp sci?
>>
Also, how long would it realistically take to learn a fair bit of java and c++ if i decide to take comp sci. I don't want to be left behind because I heard the courses move quickly. At Tech, the first year is general engineering so I would be able to learn these languages in that year on the side. Sorry if that was worded awfully, I'm really tired.
