Help anonfags!
I've finally hit the breaking point with my iphone 4. I can't do anything with it anymore. It's slow, won't download any apps and both the speaker and charger are broken.
I want to get a new phone but i'm a poorfag. So, my question is, what is the best prepaid budget phone i can get rn. Preferably something below $200, but willing to hit $300.
My requirements:
> runs smoothly and isn't abysmally slow.
> capable of downloading the latest apps (there's only two apps i need, apple music and gps).
> capable of running the gps smoothly.
> will last atleast 2 years before it becomes obsolete.
Thanks anons.

Found your problem.

Save up, get an iPhone SE. Android will suck when you're coming from something as polished at iOS

This. Alternatively get 5s and replace the battery (or get refurbished with a new one) if saving up is absolutely not an option.

>worked for 5-6 generations/years
Thats a pretty good fucking run man
I'd get an iPhone SE if I were in your shoes. Or if you can hold off wait for the new SE to come out this spring and get that instead.

Lol. Yeah i know. Rents got it for me when i was in hs as s surprise gift. It's not a bad phone but fml after 5 years anything'll become unusable.
iPhone 5s
iPhone SE if you can save up
I would avoid Android phones, they're ass nowadays

Moto G 4 Play or Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro

Thanks for the advice anons. Most of you seem to agree on the iphone 5s or se. Im not content on the 5s because by the time i save up enough it'll probably be well into its lifetime. Se sounds good but is a little pricy. I'd really prefer to avoid a plan.
Really i'm not looking for anything amazing, just something that functions.

Have had people mention the moto g 4 to me before. Seriously considering it.

so just save $100 more and buy the SE. The new one will probably be out by then and you'll have a choice of current or next gen SEs

I have a friend who bought it and he doesn't have any complaints. Plus it has expandable storage if you care about that.
The iPhone SE is the quintessential gentleman's phone.
Just get one.
