nah, I just switched to another tty and installed openbox to use in the interim while I get this shit sorted.
I decided to use GNOME because I got a new SSD for my memepad and didn't feel like ricing.
This never happened to me using XFCE or MATE in the many years I've been using arch now

Are there any free as in libre (or at the very least afree as in beer) screen capture programs for Windows that can produce silky smooth 1080p video using lagarith or (less ideally) uncompressed RGB?
CamStudio produce videos where the mouse pointer i laggy, on a 32 core Xeon machine with 64 GB RAM, a 280X and a fast SSD.
So far, the only program I've found that can do it is Camtasia, but that software costs money.
Also, whydo you always have to pay if you want something to just werk�

I have my Soundblaster only 1 PCIe slot away from my Nvidia GTX 1080 and quite often when I right click on some window and context menu shows up, I can hear a slight pop in my music.
Not sure how to apply shielding to my Soundblaster without shorting everything...

Or, alternatively, get an external DAC, that's far away enough from the motherboard to not recover interference
Putting the DAC on the motherboard is convenient but probably the single worst place you could put it Audio-wise
