Alright g/fags. I need some nerd help. For my first PC build I was thinking of the following.
ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING MB
Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
Seagate 4TB HDD
16GB min RAM, undetermined brand
Unsure of the graphics card, would like to be able to run VR(Don't know why, porn maybe)
Was thinking MSI GeForce GTX1080?
Any advice? Any problems? What kind of cooling and power supply?

well skylake and kaby lake are basically the same so i would get a skylake chip as they are a bit cheaper, so maybe a 6700 non-K but a 6700K if you want to overclock but like the other guy said even 2600k is still working and we're five more generations in.
