Any other GNOME using Arch autists on?
Did logging in break for anyone else after updating?
Fucking piece of shit DE, used xfces on arch for half a decade back when they didn't give a single shit about any kind of stability and it never broke once.

fixed

nah, I just switched to another tty and installed openbox to use in the interim while I get this shit sorted.
I decided to use GNOME because I got a new SSD for my memepad and didn't feel like ricing.
This never happened to me using XFCE or MATE in the many years I've been using arch now

Every fucking time gtk3 or mutter updates gnome breaks
Fuck these retard devs, I'm sick and tired of this bullshit.
Why is KDE so shit these days, I would never subject myself to these mongoloids otherwise
Guess no one else uses gnome on arch

GNOME stuff and Gtk3 themes break nearly every single release.
>>58440954
I never have problems on Fedora 25 with GNOME 3.22, Wayland, BTRFS, and systemd. Been using it since it was a beta.
>>58440954
Works on my machine.
>muh rolling upgrades
>muh latest release
>muh developer builds
>blame dev when rolling release breaks
Ever hear of waiting for the stable release?
>>58443395
Arch considers a package stable as soon as the upstream dev does.
>>58443092
>enjoys having silent data corruption
>>58443428
Arch doesn't manage packages upstream devs do.
The upstreams devs aren't necessarily associated with the project. Normally they're just a joe blow who likes the project enough to package it for Arch.
>>58441640
gnome devs are fucking incompetent faggots
>>58440954
Are you using autologin and GDM? There's an incompatibility with Wayland. Blame gnome devs. Drop disableWaylandninto your GDM conf and you're good
