What are all the type of LNB To have internet from sat ?
Where i Can find one cheap ?
Like the universal LNB for TV less than 3$ on Aliexpress
Nobody ?
>>58447234
Is more /DIY/ things no ?
>>58447234
You can go cheap, but it's best to get the lowest noise figure available, as well as verifying the frequency of the transmission to ensure it falls within the bandwidth of the LNB. Remeber that unless you contract an end-to-end service, your outgoing data will still run across phone lines. Also, is the provider on the satellite you're currently tuned to? If not, you'll need to re-focus the antenna (remember polarity)...
Just a couple of thoughts...
Here's a sketch I made to have a built in mouse pad.
You'd only need the extra thickness for the thinnest part of the mouse pad for most of its surface area.
Thoughts?
An example of something that could be used to charge the mouse. I guess it isn't wireless but oh well.
>>58447176
You're using a up to a half of the laptop's total thickness for a pull-out mouse pad.
Why are you even doing this? Not the mouse pad, but THIS?
Why is proprietary software always superior to FOSS?
Because you're mentally retarded.
>>58447076
Because they actually pay for professionals that once worked on FOSS.
Basically FOSS projects are just free internships in order to have a nice job later on.
Because alot of money goes in to good developers than FOSS

Hey /g/ why is Perl 5.10 the best programming language ever?
I built a massive software infrastructure in Perl. It runs amazingly fast. It's quiet clear that people who don't use Perl are plebs.
Were you a dotcom webdev in the late mid/late 90's? That would be your only excuse.
>>58446858
>perl
kek, C# .NET is better because only Apple knows how to make the best programming languages.
>>58446881
If it wasn't for Perl, Linux wouldn't be what it is today.
Was using qbittorent for a while and then I started reading some shady information on it. Not long ago I got a warning from my ISP for copyright infringement. This was strange since I use a VPN all the time with the killswitch active.
Back to deluge for now.

I came to /g/ to learn programming, but instead I learned and spend 90% of my time on the computer ricing my desktop, ricing my pajeetphone, fixing font rendering, trying out different DEs and other dumb shit.
>>58446814
Do you still want to learn programming?
Read the /g/ wiki and the /sci/ wiki and go to their CS section.

Does exist anyway to avoid this behaviour?
You could start by not engaging in the self destructive behavior that is Fagbook to begin with
>>58446821
Sadly the start up I'm with is "modern multileveled social progressive initiative history changing.." what ever string of buzzwords they use they send me a lot of specifications over it.
>>58446807
There's no way around it.
FB wants you to use that data/batt gugglzing app to data mine you.
The solution is to simply stop using normiebook
If Android is Linux, why can't Android run Linux programs and vice versa?
Because linux is shit.
It can if you install enough dependencies
Also Android is open source, why don't Linux devs try to make this happen?... It might make Linux a usable OS, there's a HUGE amount of Android apps/programs.
If so, what field of CS interest you the most?
the money
computer
gentoo

Hey /g/, I need help, does anyone know what this type of connector is called?
It connects the backlight from my monitor to the power supply board and I need to replace one.
I found this on a chinese supplier but their minimum order is 1000 units, which would cost 300 usd, so I am hoping I can find it on smaller quantities or something, I tried to search for every term this chinese supplier used to no avail, so maybe someone here knows what it is called.
>>58446700
Dude its a TRC-8983 connector. They're like 0.80 each on ali.

>>58446770

>>58446700
Just fucking solder it you nigger it's two fucking wires jesus christ
If games keep track of the time elapsed in a timer variable which increments every time a time period passes (e.g. a millisecond) and if all variables have a limit to how large a number they can hold, does that mean that, theoretically, you can crash or glitch any game (or otherwise mess with its internal clock) by letting it run over long periods of time?
They could recreate the timer whenever necessary cheat engine exists.
